AMD Ryzen 7 5825U是一款基于Cezanne一代的轻薄型笔记本电脑的处理器。它是2022年初 "Barcelo "刷新的一部分,与旧的Ryzen 7 5800U相比,它提供了100MHz的高时钟CPU核心。R7 5825U集成了基于Zen 3微架构的所有八个内核,是推出时最快的U系列处理器。它们的时钟频率为2(保证基本时钟)至4.5 GHz(涡轮),支持SMT/超线程(16个线程)。该芯片采用现代的7纳米TSMC工艺制造。

与Zen 2相比,新的Zen 3微架构提供了明显更高的IPC(每时钟指令)。对于台式机处理器,AMD声称平均提高了19%,在应用评测中显示在相同的时钟速度下有12%左右的收益。

CPU性能应该介于旧的Ryzen 7 5800U和新的Ryzen 7 6800U(Zen+,6纳米,4.7 GHz)之间。

除了八个CPU核心,该APU还集成了Radeon RX Vega 8 GPU,有8个CU,频率高达2000 MHz。双通道内存控制器支持DDR4-3200和节能的LPDDR4-4266内存。此外,在该芯片上可以找到16MB的三级缓存(比4800U的8MB要多)。

该APU的TDP被指定为15瓦(默认),并可由笔记本电脑供应商配置为10至25瓦(大多数芯片的配置都高于15瓦)。这意味着该芯片是为轻薄的笔记本电脑准备的(但有风扇)。
