AMD E1-2500是一款与2013年中发布的为低端轻薄笔记本设计的双核移动整合芯片。除了两颗运行于1.4GHz的处理器核心,这块基于28纳米制程的芯片还集成了一颗Radeon HD 8240显示核心,一个单通道DDR3L-1333内存控制器,和输入输出接口的南桥控制器。 架构 Kabini(面向笔记本电脑)和Temash(面向平板和轻薄笔记本电脑)均基于AMD的新Jaguar架构,用于替代前代的Bobcat系列处理器(如E-350)。根据AMD提供的信息,它的单位时钟频率性能提升了约15%。另外,它新提供了对新指令集如SSE 4.2,AVX和AES的支持。来自TSMC的更先进的28纳米制程技术提供了更低的电压和相对Bobcat更高的时钟频率,同时处理器核心数也提高到了4个(Bobcat为两个)。 性能 由于近1.4GHz的较低频率,它的性能比较有限,仅比前代的E2-1800稍高。对于办公或多媒体应用,E1-2500可以提供充足的动力;不过,对于大型软件和游戏中,它则到达到性能的极限。 图形 这款整合芯片集成的Radeon HD 8240显卡提供了128个着色器,基于GCN架构。它的核心频率为400MHz(不支持加速)。它的性能接于Intel HD Graphics(Ivy Bridge)和HD Graphics 4000之间。不过,它在实际使用中会受到CPU性能的限制。大多的最新游戏(2013年)都无法运行。只有较旧或需求较低的游戏可以流畅运行。 功耗 这块整合芯片的功耗为15W。因此,E1-2500最适合于12寸或更大的笔记本电脑。
