AMD Ryzen 5 6600U是一款基于Rembrandt一代的轻薄型笔记本电脑的处理器。 R5 6500U集成了基于Zen 3+微架构的八个核心中的六个。它们的时钟频率为2.9(保证基本时钟)至4.5 GHz(涡轮),支持SMT/超线程(16个线程)。该芯片是在台积电的现代6纳米工艺中制造的。与类似的R6 6600H相比,6800U提供较低的基础时钟速度和较低的TDP。

新的Zen 3+是对Zen 3架构的刷新,应该不会有太多的变化。然而,芯片本身提供了很多新功能,如支持USB 4(40 Gbps)、PCI-E Gen 4、DDR5-4800MT/s或LPDDR5-6400MT/s、WiFi 6E、蓝牙LE 5.2、DisplayPort 2和AV1解码。

由于时钟速度的提高,处理器的性能应该明显优于旧的Ryzen 5600U。然而,新的Alder Lake U和P系列CPU,如i5-1260P,应该提供更高的性能。

在6000系列中,AMD终于为iGPU改用了目前的RDNA 2图形架构。6600H只提供小型的Radeon 660M,启用12个CU中的6个,最大时钟频率为1.9GHz。

APU的TDP被指定为15-28瓦(默认)。由于改进的6纳米工艺和6000系列的额外省电功能,其电源效率应该非常好。
