80% ASUS Chromebook CX9 review: Overwhelming power, underwhelming battery
Source: Android Central English EN→zh-CN
There's a lot to like about the Chromebook CX9, even though it's using Intel's 11th Gen chips. There's plenty of power under the hood, and the hinge mechanism puts the keyboard at the perfect ergonomic angle. But middling battery life really puts a damper on an otherwise excellent Chromebook.

79% Asus Chromebook CX9 review: A capable but pricey business Chromebook
Source: Zdnet.com English EN→zh-CN
The Asus Chromebook CX9 is a good-looking laptop with a tough chassis that meets MIL-STD 810H. The ErgoLift hinge works well and I appreciate the slightly raised keyboard it delivers, plus the fact that it blocks out some of the lower screen bezel. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, and I like the inclusion of a number pad in the trackpad. The screen is bright and touch-responsiveness is a plus. There's also a good array of ports. Set against that are poor speakers and battery life that won't see many people through a working day. Arguably the Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of on-board storage of our review unit are excessively specified, leading to a steep price ($1,149.99 in the US, £1,099.99 in the UK). Better value may well be had by lowering your sights and settling for the entry-level Core i3 model ($749.99 in the US).

ASUS Chromebook CX9 review: all the specs, none of the charm
Source: Chrome Unboxed English EN→zh-CN
For me, that simply didn’t happen with the ASUS Chromebook CX9. I wish I had a better way to quantify it, but I simply don’t. If you want a Chromebook that absolutely nails the specs and never makes you think there’s something more powerful out there, this is the one may be for you. If you want something that compromises on nothing from a performance standpoint, this could be the one for you. But if you find inherent charm in devices like the Pixelbook Go and don’t necessarily need the fastest processor to enjoy your Chromebook, you may want to look elsewhere. Somewhere in the process of cramming nearly every spec you could ask for into a single device, something was just lost. Maybe that sort of thing doesn’t matter to you, but I know it does to me, and I wanted to let you know about it before you spend over $1000 on a Chromebook.

80% Asus Chromebook CX9 (CX9400CE) review: The most stylish Chromebook on the market
Source: It Pro English EN→zh-CN
The Asus CX9 is one of the priciest Chromebooks on the market, but it does a tremendous job of defending its price. It looks fantastic, it has impressive build quality, and it’s slim and light. It excels in several practical departments too: the keyboard is superb, it has good connectivity, and its display is bright, bold, and accurate. It’s not perfect, however. The processor handles any Chrome OS task easily, but other laptops are quicker. Battery life is fine, but not great. If you want ultimate performance or lengthy battery life, look elsewhere. For most people, though, the CX9 does the job with style. It might be expensive, but it’s one of the best Chrome OS laptops you can buy.

80% Asus Chromebook CX9 review
Source: Laptop Mag English EN→zh-CN
The Asus Chromebook CX9 is a lightweight and thin Chromebook for business and casual use. It can handle all your document-pushing needs, and it won’t feel like you’re carrying a dinosaur in your backpack. However, the $749 starting price makes the CX9 a tough sell so I can’t imagine our $1,149 review unit attracting even business users. There are $400 Chromebooks that can do what the majority of users need to accomplish on a Chromebook. The Asus Chromebook CX9, with its gorgeous display and comfortable keyboard, would make for an amazing Ubuntu Linux OS laptop as it would give users more useful and powerful application options.

ASUS Chromebook CX9 Review: The new king of Chromebooks
Source: XDA Developers English EN→zh-CN
At the end of the day, this is the best Chromebook you can buy today. The price for the base model is $749, which is going to be a barrier to entry for many people. That’s too bad, because you’re getting great value for the build quality and specs included in the CX9. Even at $1,149, the model I bought is great value compared to other Chromebooks with similar specs. There aren’t any other consumer Chromebooks with the newest Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage for under $1,500. But that’s not all you get. You also get an ultra-portable design, LED NumberPad, Iris Xe graphics, fingerprint scanner, and the list goes on. All of those things considered, I feel like I got more than my money’s worth for $1,149 and tax. When Borealis launches later this year, I’ll also have one of the first gaming Chromebooks on the market. If you’re looking for a premium Chromebook as a power user, this is the one to buy, period.

80% Asus Chromebook CX9

We've been impressed with Intel's 11th Generation mobile chips in Windows notebooks, and we're impressed with them in Chrome OS laptops, too. The Asus Chromebook CX9 is costly at $999.99 for our well-equipped Core i5 unit or $1,249.99 for a Core i7 model with a 4K display, but your money buys you a nearly faultless corporate Chromebook, with nothing important missing except maybe mobile broadband for use away from Wi-Fi hotspots. It's light yet sturdy, with great performance, plenty of ports, and a first-class screen and keyboard. A $100 or $200 price cut would have captured it an Editors' Choice award.
