微星的GT72向前迈了一大步。尽管它最后的总分只和GT70差1%，但它的改进意义重大。在连续几年的华丽却显俗气的的外观设计之后，微星似乎终于找到了合适的设计理念。我们当然更加喜欢GT72的外观设计。另外一项优化在于散热系统，新的设备在负载下更加安静。更不用提它更好的做工质量和增加了的接口数量了。

在其他的方面它也没有很大的瑕疵，如输入设备，电池续航和发热量。我们希望提到的是它的优秀音响系统，在其他的笔记本电脑中很难有如此好的音效。GT72在屏幕这方面还有改进的空间。它使用的CMN N173HGE-E11面板的色彩还原不够准确（如果显示有条纹请更新Nvidia显卡驱动！），这应该可以通过特别的色彩设定来避免——类似于华硕G750JZ。另外很烦人的一点是想要切换显卡时需要重启笔记本电脑。

如果电池不出问题的话，它的维护性可以让人很满意。微星让我们可以接触到几乎所有的部件。最大的一个亮点是它准备的多达4个M.2固态硬盘槽。在性能上，它也毫无问题：Nvidia的高端显卡保证了很高的游戏帧率。整体来说，微星设计了一款非常成功地高端笔记本电脑，具备冲上三甲的潜力。选择Alienware 17,，Asus G750JZ还是MSI GT72呢？可能这主要是个外观设计的问题。
