Reviews for the Huawei Pocket 2

Huawei Pocket 2 Display test
Source: DxOMark English EN→zh-CN
The Huawei Pocket 2 is an ultra-premium flip phone that performed quite well in our foldables ranking, particularly in touch and in video rendering. The experience in readability when outdoors was behind the one offered by its main competitor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, particularly due to a lower luminance as well as a higher reflectance, which affected contrast outdoors and made the crease quite visible. The readability of the gallery outdoors was also optimized thanks to a specific HDR photo setting activated by default, which improves the contrast and brightness of SDR photos, bringing them closer to an HDR rendering. While this had a positive impact on readability, our testers observed that the rendering could sometimes lower the detail rendering in the darkest shades and on the subject’s face, giving it a flatter appearance, in outdoor conditions.

Huawei Pocket 2 Detailed Review: Worth Folding For?
Source: Igeekphone English EN→zh-CN
Huawei Pocket 2, the most comprehensive and powerful small foldable to date, boasts several advantages, including four full-focus cameras, 40W wireless charging, two-way satellite communication, and a perfect crease-free screen. Thanks to the enhanced water drop hinge technology and the industry’s first Xuanwu water drop hinge structure, Huawei Pocket 2 unfolds the phone as flat as a straight-screen phone, achieving a seamless folding form. Additionally, there are no creases at all in our experience, laying the foundation for hovering at multiple angles. With the double-arm lever gear, it remains nearly crease-free even after 3 years of use, making it the smoothest small fold. Finally, the Xiao Fold’s 40W wireless fast charging enhances the unique experience of folding-screen mobile phones while providing charging efficiency comparable to traditional smartphones.

Huawei Pocket 2 Smartphone Review
Source: OI Spice Tech News English EN→zh-CN
No doubt purchasing a flip phone comes with its benefits and flaws. With the Huawei Pocket 2, you won’t notice a problem with the hardware section as the chipset handles performance and graphics equally. But at the same time, the 4G connectivity is underwhelming as compared to other sensors. At the same time, the camera software photos aren’t that bad. On the other hand, the Pocket 2 has an attractive design layout, while the screen is prone to damage eventually. Apart from this, the phone still needs improvement when it comes to battery life. Yet, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 can be considered a better alternative. It will bring more robust features but cost slightly high than the Huawei Pocket 2. But still, the final decision is in your hands so choose the phone that meets your requirements and budget.

6.94":

只有较少的手机有很大的屏幕。

大尺寸可以让屏幕有更高的分辨率。因而例如字体等的细节将会更丰富。不过另一方面,小屏幕的功耗会较低,而设备也会更轻盈小巧,售价更低。
