Intel Pentium 6500Y

英特尔奔腾金6500Y是一款高效的双核SoC,适用于平板电脑和被动冷却的笔记本,基于2018年的旧琥珀湖一代。它在2021年第一季度宣布,基本上是一个酷睿m3-8100Y,集成显卡稍慢(24个EU中的一个EU被停用)。

该CPU由两个处理器核心组成,时钟频率为1.1-3.4GHz。由于采用了超线程技术,该处理器可以同时执行多达四个线程。芯片还包括英特尔HD Graphics 615 GPU,有23个EU,一个双通道内存控制器(DDR3L/LPDDR3),以及VP9和H.265视频解码器和编码器。 与Kaby Lake-Y前辈(如Core m3-7Y32)相比,Amber Lake使用了在改进的14nm+ FinFET工艺(没有14nm++)下生产的相同架构,但在增加的TDP等级下提供了更高的时钟速度。

架构

英特尔基本上使用了Skylake/Kaby Lake一代熟悉的微架构,所以每MHz的性能是相同的。

性能

Y系列的性能在很大程度上取决于笔记本电脑/平板电脑的冷却方案和持续负载的TDP设置。在我们的测试中,旧的m3-8100Y提供了一个稍微失望的性能,只适合低要求的任务(见英特尔酷睿m3-8100Y的页面)。

图形

集成的英特尔HD Graphics 615 GPU有23个24个执行单元(EUs),就像旧的HD Graphics 515一样,与该处理器一起运行的时钟在300到950MHz之间。性能在很大程度上取决于TDP限制以及内存配置;在双通道模式下使用快速的LPDDR3-1866内存,GPU有时应该能够与HD Graphics 520竞争,但在其他情况下也可能会慢得多。2016年的现代游戏,如果有的话,也只能在最低设置下顺利运行。

与Skylake相反,Kaby Lake和Amber Lake现在还支持10位色深的H.265/HEVC Main10的硬件解码,以及谷歌的VP9编解码。

电源消耗

该芯片采用旧的14纳米+工艺制造,采用FinFET晶体管。Amber Lake Y系列的典型TDP规定为5瓦(前几代为4.5瓦),并可根据使用场景进行双向调整(可配置3.5-7瓦)。
