Reviews for the LG V30
第一印象。 随着LG V30的发布,韩国展示了一个真正的高端智能手机,它提供强大的视频功能和改进后的双摄像头。LG已经听取了德国市面上对G6的投诉,并为设备提供无线充电功能和quad-DAC音频技术。

There's a lot to like about the V30 because it's like LG has taken the G6 and upgraded it in key areas and even refined the already sleek design. Now the price is a more reasonable £599 we can highly recommend this phone which offers excellent design, screen, cameras and audio.

The V30's display is a bit of a mess, and the all-glass body is a bit more fragile than I'd like in a modern smartphone. On the other hand, the internal components are top-notch, and it'll serve you well for at least two years.

The V30 is a very capable for still photos with good (if not exceptional) exposures and color in all lighting conditions. With texture and noise results in low light that outperform some of the top-ranked devices we’ve tested, the LG earns itself a high Photo score of 87 points, despite lacking optical tele-zoom and bokeh features. The overall ranking is negatively impacted by a lower video score, but overall, the V30 is a great smartphone for landscapes, architecture, and other photo genres that focus on largely static scenes. It is also important to keep in mind that while the V30’s secondary wide-angle lens does not have an impact on the scores in our test protocol, it is a differentiator in a crowded market and a potentially useful creative tool for many users.

LG has shot itself in the foot for the second time this year by not getting the V30 in shops sooner. It was announced before the iPhone 8, iPhone X and Pixel 2 XL, but will hit stores after those devices. This is likely to mean that it just won’t be in the forefront of people’s minds.

With its extreme wide angle secondary camera and and extensive video feature set, the LG V30 makes a great device for vloggers or anyone else interested in video production with a smartphone. The wide angle works great in still photography as well, allowing you to squeeze more into the frame, without the need for accessory lenses. The V30 doesn't quite match the best in class in terms of pixel-level image quality but is otherwise an excellent device for content production and a great smartphone in general use.

The V30 is a solid entry by LG and is probably one of the better handsets to arrive this year. It isn't perfect mind you, but it does offer excellent value with its fairly large display, excellent build quality and design, great cameras, and pure power. Even without last year's gimmicks, the LG V30 is still basically an Android enthusiast phone, appealing to die-hard fans who need the latest smartphone specs, and want killer audio and assortment of fun features. But its competition has only gotten tougher with the launches of Samsung's Note 8, Google's Pixel 2, Huawei's Mate 10, and Apple's iPhone 8. To get noticed, LG’s V30 would have to be nearly perfect, and it’s not. But it’s still a pretty great phone that improves upon both the G6 and the V20.

The unlocked LG V30 is available for pre-order now through B&H for $829.99 with expected availability in December. Through U.S. carriers prices will vary, so expect it to cost you $800 or more. The LG V30's outstanding sound quality and nifty camera tricks are good reasons to consider it. At $829 for an unlocked 64GB model, however, price isn’t a compelling reason to pick up the V30 over an $850 Pixel 2 XL or even the $799 iPhone 8 Plus. Neither is the screen, nor the battery. When you add it all up, the V30 is an enthusiast phone that's hard to get all that enthusiastic about.

Everything else about the device is pretty spot on, and when you look at the whole package, plus a reasonable $800+ price, that’s not bad at all.

When I first took the V30 for a spin, I was surprised by my own optimism. At last, LG had made a phone that seemed to tick all the right boxes. After more prolonged testing, I'm not quite as enamored -- thanks mostly to its questionable screen. Still, I'm impressed with what LG has managed to accomplish. The V30's design and build quality are first rate, performance is up to snuff for a flagship, and I'm in love with the way this thing sounds. Hopefully, LG irons out these sketchy screen issues, because otherwise the V30 is a worthy phone in danger of being overshadowed.

We'll cut to the chase now because you're probably getting the gist at this point. LG's V30 is an easy HotHardware Editor's choice and our pick as one of our favorite Android phones of 2017. The V30 arrives half a year after the G6 and, at first blush, appears to rectify everything that ailed LG’s devices of the past. But LG rushed to put an imperfect OLED screen in its flagship phone, preferring to have the highlight spec over the superior user experience, and I can’t condone either the choice or the eventual product. This is a phone that has given me goosebumps with the astonishing quality of its headphone audio, and if I was reviewing it on the strength of music playback alone, I would say it’s one of the best media players on the market. But this is supposed to be a smartphone. And as a smartphone, the LG V30 fails to validate its high price and flagship status.

The laundry list of positives on the V30 are absolutely staggering to say the least, and the V30 offers more bang for your buck in more areas than most smartphones can claim. It’s not the cheapest phone available, but it’s also not the most expensive flagship out there either, all while not sacrificing any of the important parts that we expect from a 2017 flagship phone. Near zero bezels, killer performance, a screen that’s more capable than others, incredible high quality audio output and a camera that’s worthy of the title “The Content Creator’s Phone” are what make up the V30, and there’s so much more than that too. The LG V30 may seem like a conservative flagship, but it gets an awful lot right. There's undeniably a whiff of Samsung about the phone's design — nevertheless, the V30 continues the no-nonsense trend of the G6, with better build quality than ever. The display, despite some low-light issues, is a step beyond any previous LG phone in terms of quality and daylight legibility. The size is near perfect for me, providing an expansive display in a more ergonomic handset than Samsung can currently offer. And the camera builds on everything I loved about the G6, with better low-light performance, superior processing and new video tricks that I might not use all that often, but which are nice to have all the same.

The LG V30 could have easily been a G6s or something - it's that close to an incremental upgrade to the G6 and that far away from the original V-series concept. But hey, it's LG regrouping at its best and the V30 has turned out so remarkably well. It's got the most important boxes checked (one of them double-checked in a unique way) and we can see people running to the stores. Maybe come Christmas though, if the launch price sounds steep.

When LG took the wraps off of the LG V30 at IFA last week, it spent nearly 20 minutes of its 50-minute presentation talking about the phone's dual-camera system. Juno Cho, president of mobile communications, rattled off statistics like "almost 80 percent of smartphone users use their smartphone at least once a week to shoot videos." He also said that "we are literally on the verge of transitioning from storytelling to story-showing," which is almost as crazy as Samsung's new catchphrase: "Your New Normal." I digress.

The LG V30 sets itself apart two ways: with its ultra-wide, fish-eye lens, and with (likely) support for T-Mobile's new wide-area network. Otherwise, it's pretty similar to a Galaxy S8+ with a better-placed fingerprint sensor, at least at first glance. The phone will be available this fall on all the major US carriers, and we're also expecting an unlocked version will come out at some point, although details on dates and pricing aren't yet available. I'm looking forward to putting the phone through its paces for a full review—maybe with a road trip to one of those new T-Mobile cities—so check back to see what I find.

Over the last couple of years, the LG G series has been focused on the general consumer, much like the Samsung Galaxy S models. The LG V series always offered a bit more than the G series, similar to Samsung's Note line, with an emphasis on high-end video creation, high-fidelity audio, and dual camera experiences. We have seen the G series start to incorporate some of these features, but the V series still stands out as the high end model.

R.I.P LG’s G6. Seriously, what does anyone need it for at this point? The V30 is a more stylish device that improves on every aspect of the G6 and V20, and in doing so it has become a more mainstream hybrid of the two. Gone is the secondary display of the V20, replaced with a functional software version, and improved is the wide-angle camera, which now captures very little distortion. Throw in a Snapdragon 835 with 4 gigs of RAM, LG’s potent and smooth UI, a gorgeous infinity display, and sprinkle some extra camera and video goodies on top, and you have the makings for a flagship device, which stands on its own.

Unless it bombs in either of those areas, the V30 is a phone I’d happily slip into my pocket. Stand by for a full review, when I can fully test it next to its main rivals, and deliver a final verdict.

The LG V30 is a handset with powerful attributes that define a high-end device: amazing display, excellent industrial design, a very good camera and a very fast processor and connectivity.

The LG V30 comes with a single USB Type-C port (no word if it is USB 2.0 or USB 3.0), and the power button is now part of the rear fingerprint sensor. Moving the power button from the side confused me for a strong minute, as the only other buttons on the device were the volume buttons on the left. The fingerprint sensor being on the rear is more suitable than one off to the side, and personally I'm not used to fingerprint buttons on the front. But in anecdotal testing the sensor recognition is a shade slower than my Mate 9, but not noticeably so unless you are concentrating hard.

The V30’s powerhouse specs and features — like a f/1.6 aperture rear shooter and stackable biometric security — are inarguably industry leading. In comparison with Samsung’s redemption Note 8, which seemed to play it relatively safe this year, the V30’s distinguishing elements offer a more enticing overall package. It even looks and feels sleeker.

这是比较大的智能手机尺寸,也十分常见。
大尺寸可以让屏幕有更高的分辨率。因而例如字体等的细节将会更丰富。不过另一方面,小屏幕的功耗会较低,而设备也会更轻盈小巧,售价更低。
