Reviews for the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus

Big Display at a Budget – Lenovo Phab 2 Plus
Source: The Techy English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
If you are looking for a phone with a big display to watch movies and hardcore performance isn’t your main criteria, then the Phab 2 Plus makes sense for you. Having said that, the big display comes at the cost of added weight and if the inconvenience of everyday usage if you have normal human hands.

Lenovo Phab2 Plus preview
Source: GSM Arena English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
With the 6+ inch smartphone market still being in its nascent stage, Lenovo had a good opportunity here to disrupt the market with a quality offering and dethrone the market leader Mi Max, which also happens to be pretty much the only worthwhile option in the segment.

Lenovo Phab2 Plus Review – The tablet sized phone
Source: Mobygyaan English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
Taking all things into consideration, this phablet can be a real deal for you if you love a large screen and the brand image. Wish to spend ₹15,000 on a phablet, look for Xiaomi Mi Max if you want raw power and better battery backup. Also, the software environment on Mi Max is user-friendly.

70% Lenovo Phab2 Plus review: Great for multimedia consumption, but falls short of the Mi Max
Source: Tech2.in.com English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
The Phab2 Plus is a really good media-centric device at its price of Rs 14,999. Lenovo took a perfectly good chance to capitalise on the fact that there aren’t a lot of devices of this form factor in the market. However, it cannot match the Mi Max due to a bunch of reasons. While it does get points for build quality, software and even audio, there are a few things that Lenovo has missed here.

70% Lenovo Phab 2 Plus review: A giant phone meant for entertainment
Source: The Indian Express English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
People in India are still okay with phablets it seems, for what else can explain these 6-inch plus phones in the market. But a giant phablet by definition is not for everyone. Lenovo Phab 2 Plus gets the entertainment bit right, both from display and audio perspective.

64% Lenovo Phab 2 Plus Review
Source: Think Digit English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
It’s disappointing that Lenovo hasn’t brought the Google Tango driven Phab 2 Pro to India. The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is a device that needs a lot of work. It’s surpassed soundly, by the Xiaomi Mi Max, which incidentally is its chief and only real competitor as well. The Phab 2 Plus is slow, doesn’t have a display that a phone this size needs, and its battery life is decent at best.

Lenovo PHAB 2 Plus Review
Source: Fone Arena English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
Overall, the Lenovo PHAB 2 Plus is a good successor to last year’s PAHB Plus, but it might not be the best phablet in the market for the price of Rs. 14,999. It has good build quality and the audio output is good as well, but the performance, especially gaming performance is not up to mark and the hybrid dual SIM slot might not be preferred by everyone. Dual cameras look good on paper, but is not very useful for everyday use since you will not use blur effect and background replacement often since it takes a lot of time. Battery life is also not impressive. This goes head to head with the Xiaomi Mi Max, which has an edge when it comes to battery life and performance. The phone is currently available only on Amazon.in. To summarize, here are the pros and cons of the smartphone.

Lenovo Phab 2 Plus First Impression: A Large Phablet With Dual Lens At The Rear With Various Interesting Camera Features
Source: PC Quest English EN→zh-CN Archive.org version
Though phablet category is not so popular these days, but only one competitor is out there for Lenovo is Xiaomi. Somehow, both has similar a bit different hardware combination, but Lenovo has a dual lens at the rear with loads of features which can add value to consumers. It looks promising product in the phablet category, yet we haven’t tested in the real world so just wait for our detailed Lenovo Phab 2 Plus review.

6.40":

只有较少的手机有很大的屏幕。

大尺寸可以让屏幕有更高的分辨率。因而例如字体等的细节将会更丰富。不过另一方面,小屏幕的功耗会较低,而设备也会更轻盈小巧,售价更低。
