The Lenovo C13 Yoga Chromebook is easily one of the best-looking Chromebooks I’ve ever seen. The keyboard is excellent, it has a nice display, the stylus is useful, and the range of ports is impressive. It’s a shame then that such a lovely chassis is let down by short battery life. ThinkPads have a history of being road-warriors, but you wouldn’t want to wander too far from a power source with this particular model.

With the ThinkPad C13, Lenovo did an excellent job considering all possible use-cases for a premium Chromebook. You get an excellent display, powerful processor, plenty of storage, and several optional bonus features in the build to order models. I personally think the USI pen and fingerprint sensor are worthwhile upgrades for those looking to use the C13 in a professional setting. If you need to take pictures in tablet mode, you can also add the world-facing camera for $20 more. Most people aren’t buying a Chromebook to listen to music, so you should be good with a pair of headphones. Lenovo does occasionally run sales on the C13, so it would be wise to keep an eye open for those opportunities. Some of the pricier models can get close to $2,000 (4K display, Ryzen C7, 16GB RAM), but sales knock off about 30% on those prices. If you own the C13 or are considering a purchase, let us know what you like or dislike about it in the comments below.

Alternatively, consider many of the Windows laptops available at Best Buy ranging from $600 to $900 that would effectively run laps around the C13 Yoga just with hardware alone -- forget that from a sheer functionality standpoint, Windows 10 far out-performs Chrome OS. All that said, if the C13 Yoga sees a significant price drop, I’d say it makes way more sense. At $600, $700 or maybe even $800, the C13 Yoga would be a good option thanks to its excellent keyboard, decent performance and 2-in-1 capabilities.

If you are in the market for a Chromebook and want something solidly built, light, and powerful enough to meet all your professional and entertainment needs, take a look at the 13″ Lenovo ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook 2-in-1 Laptop. You’ll spend a bit more for this Chromebook than you might otherwise pay, but you can’t beat the quality, reliability, and security.

Lenovo has checked most boxes with the C13 (except for audio and webcams) that businesses looking to either spin up their new workforce with a Chromebook or an executive wanting to make use of ChromeOS have yet another option. As long as your business isn’t reliant on outdated Active X technologies or requires .exe installations by admins, this premium feeling Chromebook should serve you well in most enterprise scenarios, especially if your admin makes use of the command terminal.

While Chromebooks have a reputation for being ultra-cheap machines, I still think there's a place for laptops like the ThinkPad C13 Chromebook. Every time I test the latest ThinkPad X1 Yoga I fall in love, but have too hard a time stomaching the $2,000+ price point. While $766 may be expensive for a Chromebook, the build quality is mind-bogglingly good for the price compared to Windows counterparts.

We’ve covered a lot to this point and it’s fair to look at a device like the C13 Yoga and feel like it offers way more than you get in most Chromebooks. And you’d be right to think so. While it may not be the best battery life or the best screen you can get in a Chromebook, it does bring a bunch of unique and useful features to the table that are really going to matter to a lot of users. That being said, all this stuff doesn’t come cheap, and the Yoga C13 costs a bit more than what many users are used to in Chromebooks.

Like the title says, it's a ThinkPad with Chrome OS, which is actually pretty cool. If you love ThinkPads, and the things that make a ThinkPad a ThinkPad, but you want Chrome OS, then this is the machine for you.

Lenovo has a new Thinkpad Chromebook (with a very long name) powered by an AMD Ryzen processor. Unfortunately there isn't much to take advantage of its graphical capabilities.

Suppose you prefer using Android applications and don’t need to download or install all of your programs. In that case, you should take a look at the ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook. It’s a fast, well-built Chromebook that may be what you are looking for.

At $859 as tested, the ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook is a bit pricey compared to, say, the $629 Acer Spin 713, though it's a bargain next to the $1,529 HP Elite c1030. Still, we could see consumers and entrepreneurs seeking a first-class Chrome OS convertible being very happy with it, and companies adopting Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) will find it a perfect fit. It's a deserving Editors' Choice winner for businesses willing to think outside the Windows box.

The Lenovo ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook is a lovely lightweight laptop that’s surprisingly tough thanks to its MIL-STD testing. And for $766, you get snappy performance with near-instant boot times, several security features and nearly all-day battery life. Plus, you’ve got a good screen and a pen to keep the laptop smudge-free.

Unboxing Lenovo's first Chromebook ThinkPad, which comes in a blue color and is made out of aluminum. Also, it contains AMD's Ryzen 3000C proessors.

The first ThinkPad Chromebook in years is a bold business Chromebook that still has a few teething issues from the new Ryzen processor, but the laptop itself is solid and I have no doubts it will be a great Chromebook to get you through the rest of the decade.

Its two-in-one design lets you use it as a laptop or tablet. It does support an optional active pen that can be garaged in the C13's body. You can also get it with a world-facing camera above the keyboard so you can take pictures in tablet mode. It has an HD webcam above the display, too, with a privacy shutter and dual mics with noise cancellation for clearer sound. An optional fingerprint reader will be available too.

The C13 Yoga isn’t a perfect machine. The 16:9 screen makes me sad, and the battery life is a big miss. It’s a bit expensive for what it offers, as is often the case with laptops targeting business users.
