As long as you don't plan to use this laptop for continuous demanding loads, the Lenovo Yoga 910 is one of the best premium convertibles in its niche. The big battery, excellent keyboard/trackpad, larger 13.9" screen and splendid build quality are its main selling points, but the the speakers or the everyday use performance are not far off. Just keep in mind this computer is a little bigger than others in its class, runs rather warm despite the fact that the fans inside spin all the time, and lacks a digitizer and Thunderbolt 3 port. Read on for the whole story.

We’re assuming the Yoga has some slightly more aggressive CPU throttling in action, despite it being thicker than the Spectre. On paper the Yoga 910 beats the Spectre in every regard, for a price that is almost equal to the Spectre. The tiny performance difference isn’t noticeable in real life, so the additional memory and SSD capacity of the Yoga 910 give it the edge over the Spectre.

The Yoga 910 is a step forward for Lenovo's versatile Yoga line. It doesn't do what the 900S did and downsize, but instead manages to fit a 13.9-inch screen in a chassis that's almost the same size as the 13.3-inch Yoga 900 -- albeit with some weight gain.

It's really too bad that a bum keyboard would bring down such a solid option from Lenovo. In my opinion, this is the best Yoga they've ever made (at least, not counting the awesome ThinkPad X1 Yoga, which is pricier but has a heavenly keyboard). The problem is that the competition has caught up in a huge way.

The Lenovo Yoga 910 is a well designed, great performing ultrabook with an excellent touch screen display. The major complaint I have with the laptop is the battery life which fell well under Lenovo’s stated expected battery life.

Suffice to say, the Yoga 910 has enough flaws that it couldn't possibly rank as my favorite Windows laptop (that would be the Dell XPS 13 or maybe the Spectre x360 or Surface Book). Still, it has a lot to recommend it, including a thin and light design, good specs for the money, long battery life and a mostly comfortable typing experience. Oh, and a full-size USB port -- can't take those for granted these days.

Still, at the entry level, there are cheaper alternatives that offer more. If you want a compact footprint, HP’s 2016 Spectre x360 comes in cheaper and offers support for Thunderbolt 3 on its USB Type-C ports. However, if you’re a video buff who demands the most pixels on a convertible, Lenovo’s more expensive Yoga 910 configurations offer an excellent blend of performance, portability along with a 13.9-inch 4K UHD display. If you have the cash, that’s the model we’d recommend you spring for.

The Lenovo Yoga 910 sits at the pricier end of midrange convertible-hybrid laptops, but it's certainly one that many would be happy to tote. It should last for quite a few years before it starts to feel slow, it transforms among its four modes stylishly, and its battery life is phenomenal. While it isn't an impulse buy, its features and performance are good enough to make it our latest Editors' Choice.

Why, sharp-eyed readers will ask, does the 910 get four stars to the Spectre x360's four and a half? Mainly because the former is $1,179 with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD and the latter is a fractionally better value at $1,299 with double those amounts (although the HP is not available with a 4K screen). But we have no hesitation in giving both our Editors' Choice.

The move to Kaby Lake certainly has boosted performance, but the Yoga 910 has a lot more going for it than just the latest CPU. Any company can shoehorn a new CPU into a chassis. The Yoga 910 is a seriously improved laptop over the 900 in all the ways that count—it’s easily one of the best convertible notebooks available. Even if you never bend it into other shapes, it’s still a fantastic ultraportable. It has class-leading battery life, a gorgeous display with a mostly razor-thin bezel, and excellent performance. And at $1,049, it’s also less expensive than its competition. Sure, the webcam’s placement isn’t ideal, and its slim stature means you're short on ports, but those are trade-offs we can live with, given the Yoga 910’s otherwise stellar attributes.

The Lenovo Yoga 910 rightfully sits in the premium corner of the convertible notebook market. Its svelte design is both beautiful and transportable, at just 0.56 inches thick and a shade over three pounds. Its fancy watchband-style hinge is smooth, strong, and looks great. We also enjoyed this convertible’s long battery life and stunning borderless 4K touch display.

There's a lot to love here, the Lenovo Yoga 910 is the slimmest, lightest and best looking Yoga in Lenovo's consumer line to date. It's rigid, well-made and that watchband hinge is as striking and functional as ever. This is a high-end Ultrabook with a price tag to match. The price isn't extravagant, especially because Lenovo and their biggest US partner Best Buy are prone to having frequent sales, but it's a little bit more than the competing HP Spectre x360 (which must be the thorn in Lenovo's side by now). The Yoga 910 is every bit as attractive and chic, and it adds the bonus larger display and a stunning 4K option. The laptop is fast and there are storage and RAM options to ensure its usefulness for several years. Our only caveat is the fan, which can be annoying. Perhaps Lenovo will issue a firmware update to address that.

The Yoga 910 is the cream of the 2-in-1 crop. It gives you the latest Intel Core i7, a fairly big 13.9-inch screen in a compact body, and more than 10 hours of battery life. Add in what is still the best hinge in the business, and you have an irresistible 2-in-1 starting at just $1,200. The only real downside of the Yoga 910 is its awkward webcam placement.

The Yoga 910 could be one of the best Ultrabooks to hit the market this year. Lenovo has ticked all the right box hardware-wise, loading the Yoga 910 with full-fat core-i CPUs and adding a useful 4K option. Add to this the return of Lenovo’s nifty 360-degree hinge and I can definitely see the 910 being a competitor to Dell’s XPS 13, which was TrustedReviews' recommended Ultrabook last year.

The Lenovo Yoga 910 is definitely a looker, then, but it's definitely pricey too: starting at £1,099, this is an investment laptop with enough standout features to warrant its price point. Push up to the 4K display and expect to pay a chunk of extra cash, although exactly how much hasn't been confirmed for the UK.

In the past the Yoga 900 series has blended a good mix of affordability with performance, but this latest iteration may skew things too far into the luxury category. We'll have to see how the other configurations stack up as well as how this machine performs before we can deliver our final verdict, but we're optimistic that Lenovo has knocked it out of the park once again.

The Lenovo Yoga 900 perfected the 2-in-1 laptop formula and now the Yoga 910 seeks to elevate the series to all new heights. There are plenty of welcome elements here including the larger screen, edgier design and revamped inputs. However, some of the changes aren’t sitting well with us including the marginally higher price and the new bare metal keyboard deck.

There isn’t we can say against the Yoga 910 because it surpassed almost all of our expectations. It’s sleek, powerful, versatile and portable. The build quality is just impeccable while the keyboard and touchpad assure excellent user experience. And even though the weight of the notebook has increased a bit, we can’t really blame Lenovo for that because it houses a monstrous 78Wh battery that will get you through the day and a half probably. Our battery tests confirm that with record-breaking results and quite honestly, you won’t find any other notebook at this price range with similar endurance.

To look at the Lenovo Yoga 910 is an absolute triumph. That trim bezel, ultra-high resolution and great-looking watchband hinge ensure it's one of the most striking laptops on the market, without overdoing the bling.
