NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M SLI是一个兼容DirectX 11的高端笔记本显卡,由两块GeForce GTX 880M组成。每块显卡有一个28纳米制程基于Kepler架构的的GK104核心。SLI设置的GTX 880M下的核心频率通常和单显卡模式下相同。在SLI设置下,每块显卡交替负责渲染一个单独的帧(在AFR模式下)。因此,它可能在较低帧数下(30fps)有“微卡帧”的情况。这个现象源自两个相邻帧间的时间间隔出现误差(例如在帧序列间出现的不规则延迟)。 架构 Kepler架构是取代最早使用于Geforce 400M系列的Fermi架构的新一代处理器架构。代号GK104的Kepler核心提供8个称作SMX着色器模块,它们有和主核心同样的时钟频率。在GTX 880M中,所有8个模块均激活而总共有1536个CUDA核心。尽管Kepler架构会使用相对Fermi架构更多的着色器核心数,但它的着色器能效最多可达Fermi的两倍。不过,由于着色器区域的频率不再更高,Kepler架构中的两个着色器的速度与Fermi架构中的一个着色器性能相当(因为后者通常运行于前者两倍高的频率)。 移动版的Kepler系列处理器提供了对PCIe 3.0的支持,和一个会在散热允许的情况下自动超频的可选Turbo加速模式。所有的GeForce 800M系列显卡均支持这个加速模式。 性能 类似于我们的单GPU显卡基准测试成绩,双显卡的GTX 880M SLI的性能表现也超出前代双显卡GeForce GTX 780M SLI约10%。这使得GTX 880M SLI成为现在市场上最快的移动图形解决方案(在2014年初)。配合优秀驱动的支持,SLI几乎使单显卡的性能翻倍,使得在全高清和最高细节设置下的高帧率流畅运行成为可能。 特性 本显卡的特性包括了对最多4个显示器的支持。此外,最高3840x2160像素的高分辨率显示器可以通过DisplayPort 1.2或者HDMI 1.4a(如果可用)连接。高清的音频编码,例如杜比TrueHD和DTS-HD,可以通过比特流模式由HDMI接口传输。不过,由于大多数的笔记本会使用Optimus技术,CPU的集成显示核心可能会对显示接口有直接的控制,这可能会限制Nvidia Kepler显卡的一些附加的功能。 第五代的PureVideo HD视频处理器(VP5)同样集成于GK104核心之中,提供了对HD视频的硬解码支持。它对通常的编码格式,如MPEG-1/2, MPEG-4 ASP, H.264和 VC1/WMV9,提供了高达4K分辨率硬解码的支持,而对VC1和MPEG-4则提供最高1080p分辨率硬解码的支持。两个视频源可以被同时平行解码,提供了对类似于画中画的功能的支持。另一个新的特点是配备了一个类似于Intel的QuickSync的视频编码引擎,它可以被NVENC API调用。 功耗 GeForce GTX 880M SLI的功耗也会相对单显卡配置的GTX 880M翻一倍,到至少200W(包括芯片和闪存)。因此,只有大型的桌面式笔记本可以提供足够控制这些热排放的散热能力。
