Quadro 系列显卡的 BIOS 和驱动程序与GeForce 显卡不同,主要针对专业用途而非游戏。产品设计、大规模计算、模拟、数据挖掘、全天候运行和认证驱动程序--如果这些听起来耳熟能详,那么 Quadro 显卡一定会让你满意。

架构与功能

与采用安培架构的旧显卡相比,Ada Lovelace 带来了一系列改进。这不仅仅是更好的制造工艺和更多的 CUDA 内核(从 10,752 个内核增加到 16,384 个内核),还有大量的底层改进,包括更大的二级缓存、通过简化透明和非透明评估实现的优化光线追踪程序以及其他变化。当然,这些显卡可以编码和解码一些最广泛使用的视频编解码器,包括 AVC、HEVC 和 AV1;它们还支持大量 Nvidia 技术,包括 Optimus 和 DLSS 3。

RTX 3500 配备 40 个第三代 RT 内核、160 个第四代 Tensor 内核和 5,120 个 CUDA 内核。将这些数字乘以 1.15,得到的结果与桌面版 RTX 4070 如出一辙:分别为 46、184 和 5888。在其他方面,该显卡配备了 12 GB 192 位宽(可选 ECC)GDDR6 显存,吞吐量约为 432 GB/s。这里出现纠错电路的事实证明,RTX 3500 确实是面向专业用户的。

与基于安培的显卡一样,RTX 3500 也使用了 PCI-Express 4 协议。支持 8K SUHD 显示器,不过,DP 1.4a 视频输出有可能成为系统的瓶颈。

性能

虽然截至 2023 年 8 月,我们还没有测试过采用 RTX 3500 Ada Generation 的单个系统,但我们有 RTX 4070(台式机)的大量性能数据,该显卡的性能比 RTX 3500 Ada Generation 高出约 20%。基于这些数据,我们完全可以期待 RTX 3500 的表现:

  • Blender 3.3 Classroom CUDA 得分约为 30 秒
  • 3DMark 11 GPU 得分为 45,000 左右
  • GTA V(1440p - 可能的最高设置,16 倍自动对焦,4 倍 MSAA,FXAA)中至少达到 90 帧/秒
  • 《赛博朋克 2077》中至少达到 50 帧/秒 (1440p - 高设置、超 RT、"优质 "DLSS)

Nvidia 的营销材料提到了 23 TFLOPS 的性能,比 RTX 3000 Ada 代的 20 TFLOPS 性能提高了 15%。

您的情况可能会有所不同,这取决于您笔记本电脑的散热解决方案有多好,以及 RTX 3500 的 TGP 功耗目标有多高。还有一点值得一提,启用 ECC RAM 模式似乎会将应用程序和游戏可用的显存减少多达一千兆字节。

功耗

Nvidia 不再将笔记本显卡分为 Max-Q 和非 Max-Q 两种型号。取而代之的是,笔记本电脑制造商可以根据自己的需要自由设置 TGP,有时这个范围会大得惊人。RTX 3500 就是这种情况,推荐的最低值仅为 60 W,而最高值则高达 140 W(很可能包括动态提升),高出两倍多。围绕 RTX 3500 构建的最慢系统很容易比最快系统慢 50%。这就是我们在采用最新GeForce RTX 显卡的消费级笔记本电脑上看到的差距。

最后但并非最不重要的一点是,RTX 3500 所采用的改进型 5 纳米工艺(台积电 4N)可在 2023 年中期实现非常不错的能效。
