You could accuse OnePlus of phoning it in with the Nord 2T, since it’s so similar to its predecessor. But the reality is that this is a better phone than last year. It’s faster, looks a bit nicer and it charges even more quickly, too. Most important, however, is that the OnePlus Nord 2T edges in front of its rivals as the best all-rounder in its category. And that’s just about all you can ask of a phone at any price point. If you’re looking to spend between £350 and £400 on a smartphone, this is now the phone to buy.

Starting at RM1899, the Nord 2T 5G is well-positioned in the market, given its feature set and excellent user experience that arguably punches above its weight. The combination of a Dimensity 1300 chipset, 90Hz AMOLED screen, and 50MP primary camera makes it a highly competitive device in the midrange segment. It's excellent for everyday use, decent at playing mobile games, has super fast charging speeds, and is even capable of taking great photos while being below RM2000. If your budget is within this price range, you can't go wrong with the Nord 2T 5G. However, one thing to consider is whether you should spend slightly more for a better overall smartphone, such as the Xiaomi 12T (RM1999). The Xiaomi 12T not only comes with a faster processor in the form of the Dimensity 8100 but also features a better 108MP main camera and a 120Hz AMOLED screen. That's a lot of upgrades for just an additional RM100. Besides that, you can also consider the vivo V25 5G (RM1799), which is RM100 cheaper than the Nord 2T 5G but has a better camera setup. However, the V25 5G features a less powerful Dimensity 900 chipset and slower fast charging capabilities at 44W.

The OnePlus Nord 2T is a competently made phone that blends fair build quality and overall decent performance across the board though it doesn’t stand out in any particular area and comes at a slight premium for what it has to offer versus other contenders in the market while also lacking any water resistance or wireless charging. Still, it’s worth a look if you’re a fan of OnePlus and are looking for an RM2,000 workhorse phone. The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is a competently made midrange phone with solid specifications, serviceable performance and fair endurance though it lacks water resistance and wireless charging.

The OnePlus Nord 2T is a brilliant phone if you are looking for well-balanced specs with a powerful performance experience. Although, the refresh rate could be increased and you can also get better camera results. Apart from this, the above issues if you are looking for a complete package for immersive performance for gaming and daily usage, this phone is a great deal in the mid-range. We won’t recommend you to go with the higher variant as it cost slightly higher as the 128GB storage and 8GB RAM is more than enough. But if you need more space, nothing is holding you back to purchase the higher variant. On the other hand, if you are looking for value for money deal, the Nord 2 is not a bad deal either. If you’re looking for an alternative option, you can check out the ZTE nubia Z40S Pro smartphone, which comes with a better camera and display setup.

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G’s autonomy of 2 days and 4 hours in moderate use was an average showing. But the overall autonomy score for the device came in slightly below average because of poor on-the-go and calibrated performances, especially during idle and music-streaming tests.

The OnePlus Nord 2T has a starting price of RM1,899 which is standard for a midrange nowadays. If you’re looking for a compact phone with decent cameras, acceptable gaming performance, fast charging, and decent battery life, you can consider getting this smartphone.

The OnePlus Nord 2T is an excellent smartphone with all-round balanced specs, one that delivers on every promise that was made on its official website. The Nord 2T has a beautiful design, solid 90Hz OLED screen and great performance courtesy of the Dimensity 1300 chipset. We also enjoyed its excellent main camera and the loud stereo speakers. The long battery life and the fast charging are also worthy of mentioning, even if the 80W speeds aren't actually faster than 65W. Finally, the Nord 2T costs about €380, which is an attractive price tag, and one we'd say makes it a great deal. The lack of official water protection is an important downside to mention as well as the fact that you can get 120Hz panels in this price range.

The Nord 2T has a long list of alternatives that best it in terms of specs, experience, and sometimes both. So where does that leave the phone? While the likes of Xiaomi and Realme might impress through flashy specs, there’s a certain stigma associated with on-screen ads and a general proclivity to include a wide range of pre-installed apps. The OnePlus Nord 2T comfortably sidesteps that with its clean software build. That, coupled with good-enough specs, could be just the incentive buyers need to opt for the Nord 2T, just don’t expect any kind of wow factor. However, if you can score last year’s OnePlus Nord 2 (£399) on a discount, it might be the better deal, as the Nord 2T barely improves on the formula.

Then comes the price. The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G starts at RM1,899 and to me, that is a very reasonable price for what this phone has to offer. However, the closest competitor to this phone is going to be the Samsung Galaxy A73. Between these two phones, Samsung promises that the Galaxy A73 will get 4 generations of Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches – and this kind of software support commitment is something that OnePlus never mentioned. That is what I am worried about. Other than that, this is a very good phone. OnePlus has changed a lot over the years and I do believe they still do make good phones – and this Nord 2T 5G proves it. Just that the software part is still… confusing.

Overall, if we rate the device on a scale of one to ten, the OnePlus Nord 2T would be an eight. It takes all the specs of the original Nord 2 and takes them up a notch without any inherent downgrades. But with many smartphones offering a 120Hz display in this price range, the Nord 2T leaves a bit to be desired. If you’re planning to buy a OnePlus Nord 2T, you should go for it. However, you should stay away from it if you’re looking forward to upgrading your existing Nord 2.

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G at Rs 28,999 delivers everything most users would ever want in a mid-range smartphone, and that's about it. It does not go above and beyond to deliver something more or add any exceptional value. Everything is within limits whether this is the processor (strictly mid-range), the camera selection (no macro feature), or the display (limited to 90Hz). But whatever it does, it does fairly well and that makes it a decent all-rounder at this price point. However, the top-end 12GB RAM (priced at Rs. 33,999) variant makes little sense mainly because competing devices such as the Nothing Phone 1 (First Impressions) offers better features such as wireless charging and an IP53 rating. If you're looking for other options than the Nord 2T 5G, then brands such as iQoo and Realme do offer products that are better value. The iQoo Neo 6 (Review) offers a more powerful Snapdragon 870 SoC, a 120Hz AMOLED display, a bigger 4,700mAh battery, and a macro camera from Rs. 29,999. There's also the Realme's 9 Pro+ 5G (Review), which has a capable Dimensity 920 SoC, the same primary camera,

All said and done; one can see why OnePlus opted to call this device the Nord 2T rather than the Nord 3. The OnePlus Nord 2T is the Nord 2 with a fresh coat of paint and a faster processor and charging. There was not too much wrong with the Nord 2 anyway, so what the Nord 2T adds to it is welcome but hardly revolutionary. The OnePlus Nord 2T is available at Rs 28,999 (€ 395.60) for the 8 GB/ 128 GB variant and Rs 33,999 (€ 489.00) for the 12 GB/ 256 GB variant. Those prices are quite an achievement when you consider the fact that they are Rs 1,000 lower than the similar RAM and storage variants of the OnePlus Nord 2, which were released a year ago. Those price tags also make the Nord 2T a front runner for anyone looking for a phone with a clean interface, good cameras, and fast charging. Is it worth an upgrade if you already have a Nord 2? Not really, unless you are obsessive about processors. It also faces competition from the Snapdragon 870 running iQOO Neo 6 and the Poco F4 which are priced in the same region.

The Nord 2 5G was a good smartphone in its own right but now it deserves a successor, perhaps one with a bigger screen of higher refresh rate, better imaging system, large capacity battery, and a powerful processor. Unfortunately, the Nord 2T has neither of these. The smartphone brings incremental upgrades with regard to design, performance, and charging speed, but there is a whole lot left unchanged from the predecessor and that makes it more of a seasonal refresh. That said, the Nord 2T (priced Rs 28,999 onwards) may be the best smartphone in the OnePlus midrange line but not in the segment simply because it seems wanting in comparison with other midrange smartphones launched this year.

Outside of a few design changes, the OnePlus Nord 2T is nearly identical to last year's Nord 2. The only major difference on the hardware side of things is 80W wired charging. You're getting the same 90Hz AMOLED panel, same caliber of hardware with the Dimensity 1300, same cameras at the front and back, and the same 4500mAh battery. That said, the Nord 2 was one of the best mid-rangers of 2021, and the Nord 2T excels in the same areas.

Okay, so from everything that I have discussed so far in this review, you must have guessed that the OnePlus Nord 2T is a good phone in its class. And if you buy this phone, you won’t regret it, experience-wise. On the other hand, the phone is quite overpriced in Nepal. I mean, it’s basically the same as the Nord 2 in almost every aspect. I think it would have been better if the company had skipped this phone altogether, and brought the OnePlus Nord 3 instead with upgrades such as a 120Hz screen, a better ultra-wide sensor, some quality of life improvements in terms of battery life, and a 4K selfie video recording option!

It’s tempting to say that OnePlus’ Nord refresh should have done more – there’s no upgrade for the camera system here, for example. While the step down from OnePlus’ flagship models is marked, there’s no getting away from the fact this is a formidable choice for those after a sub-flagship phone – though we’re very interested to see how the upcoming Google Pixel 6a stacks up.

The Nord 2T doesn’t bring a groundbreaking update on the original Nord 2, but it’s one of the best affordable mid-range Android handsets around. Its main camera is great, the design is better than most at the price, and the MediaTek processor within is remarkably powerful. Limited display brightness in direct sunlight is likely the main potentially off-putting area of concern.

The Nord 2T doesn’t reimagine how a mid-range smartphone should be in 2022, and that’s okay. That said, there’s a lot to like about the Nord 2T and what it brings to the table. It’s fast, the software feels snappy and sleek, the screen is good, the battery life is great and the cameras are dependable. Sure, the Nord 2T isn’t an exciting phone but not every phone has to be made to feel special. I think OnePlus has nailed a good all-rounder. That’s the point.

The OnePlus Nord 2T is an impressive phone on almost every count. The camera performance is good but not great and that’s why perhaps it doesn’t become an instant go-to choice for us. But on other counts, you can very much well trust the OnePlus Nord 2T to be the phone that can be your faithful companion. The battery is great, the performance is impressive and the design will also please most people out there. Starting at Rs 28,999 for the 8GB and 128 GB variants, the OnePlus Nord 2T is a refreshing upgrade on the Nord 2T. We call it the quintessential OnePlus phone — there’s something for everyone.

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is, for all intents and purposes, the Nord 2 5G. We were suitably impressed with the Nord 2 when we reviewed it last year; we liked the design, the display, the performance, the battery life, and the fast charging. All of that also applies to the Nord 2T 5G, which generally impresses across all those fronts. Having said that, after almost a year of launching the Nord 2 5G, we had hoped for a bit more from the Nord 2T 5G, even if it is just a T series device. OnePlus itself promised only a handful of improvements, such as with the processor and the fast charging but after testing, we found out that neither is measurably any better than before. So the grand total of things that are actually different from the Nord 2 come down to the design and the inclusion of a 960fps slow motion mode. OnePlus is aiming the Nord 2T 5G at those who would be upgrading from the original Nord from two years ago. That seems like a reasonable device to upgrade from. However, if you are someone with the original Nord and skipped the Nord 2 last year,...

It's all relative. And in this price bracket, it is all about value for money. Given its starting price of Rs 28,999, I feel that the OnePlus Nord 2T is surely a dependable phone in this segment. Dependable, but not the best. All phones in this price bracket - or rather all phones barring one or two - come with their own pluses and minuses. The Nord 2T shines at some things - performance, display, battery. I also like the design, and the fact that the alert slider is back. But the camera performance could have been better. The primary camera in good and low light is more than good enough, but the ultrawide angle camera is just so-so.Overall, the Nord 2T brings decent upgrades over the Nord 2. But this is not a phone to which the Nord 2 users would want to upgrade. Instead, I feel this is a phone that, with its overall likeable features and performance - along with clean and smooth Oxygen OS 12.1 - is one of the better options for anyone looking to get a new phone under Rs 30,000.

Possibly, but the truth is this is a competitive space right now. The OnePlus Nord 2T is very good, but it's such a mild improvement over last year's phone that I wouldn't outright recommend it without you considering alternatives. For example, the upcoming Google Pixel 6a will likely steal this phone's thunder, and you should also look at the similarly priced Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. That said, this remains an excellent phone considering its price, and I'm more impressed with OnePlus as a budget phone maker rather than a purveyor of flagship products. OnePlus has been expanding its series of Nord smartphones, and it's arguably got more of a future here than in the flagship space. The Nord 2T is limited to markets such as Europe and India, so you won't be able to buy this handset easily if you live in the US. However, you can buy the OnePlus Nord N20 5G, an even cheaper option at $300. Android Police's review of that phone calls it "a great phone at a great price with only a few easily ignored caveats."

Aside from the OS upgrades issue, there is little to quibble with on the excellent OnePlus Nord 2T. It does everything the casual smartphone user might need with aplomb and boasts some flagship standard features that power users and gamers will love. It is one of the best smartphones you can currently buy at this price point. I compared it in tests to the Nord 2, and if you already own one of those phones then you do not need to upgrade as that device is still incredibly powerful.

The OnePlus Nord 2T smartphone comes with 5G connectivity at an expected price of $389 (Rs 30,000 in India) approx. The phone carries a 6.43-inches AMOLED display panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. All of these come with a 409-pixel density. The phone renders on the latest Android 12 OS with the OxygenOS 12.1 user interface. The OnePlus Nord 2T is available in 8GB/12GB RAM with 128GB/256GB internal storage. For security, the device offers an under-display optical fingerprint sensor. As far as the cameras are concerned, the smartphone packs a triple-rear camera setup featuring a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the phone features a 32MP selfie camera for decent photography. Thankfully, both cameras have gyro-EIS support for video stabilization. Now, let’s talk about the battery performance, the smartphone equips a Li-Po 4500 mAh battery with an 80W fast charging support. The smartphone arrives in Gray Shadow and Jade Fog color options.

The OnePlus Nord 2T is a frustrating handset in that it shares some of its core screen and camera features with a phone that's a year old, while marrying these with fast charging and an updated chipset. And while the speakers are truly awful, the Alert Slider is great. Prospective purchasers clearly need to weigh up these pros and cons, but it must be said that, for the price, the OnePlus Nord 2T remains an attractive mid-range contender.

So, should you buy the OnePlus Nord 2T? The answer is actually a good yes. If you need a new smartphone and don’t want to spend top dollar on one, the Nord 2T is an excellent choice as the Nord 2 was before it. It even costs the same as the last Nord too, starting at €399 for the base model. Basically, it’s a great device in its own right, but practically every review you’ve read of the OnePlus Nord 2 will apply to this one, too. The biggest difference is honestly the slightly different design, and you don’t need to own the phone or see it in real life to get an idea of whether you like it or not. You still get that flagship experience, and to most people, that’s more than enough. If you’re in the market for a new smartphone, you may as well pick this up over the Nord 2, even though it’s basically the same phone… unless you really want the older 65W USB PD-compliant charger instead. That would genuinely be a pretty difficult choice for me.

It isn’t perfect nor is it going to beat the Galaxy S22 Ultra or iPhone 13 Pro Max when it comes to performance. For a phone at this price point, though, it delivers masses of performance and lots of style, and it runs really great software too. I do think, pound for pound, that it is a better overall option than the thoroughly excellent Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. You might disagree, but I think the Nord 2T edges it in a couple of important areas: the camera, the CPU, and the software.

At the end of the day, with the Nord 2, OnePlus stick with its own brand of a phone, one that is fast and offers a few unique features like a super fast charging, mute switch, optimized performance and other conveniences. We feel that the name 2T is a bit misleading, this is every bit a "Nord 3" as it could be, and many people would be misled by the name. We also feel that OnePlus could have done a better job with photos that often feel flat and bleak, but if that's not your number one priority, we think you will love the speed, the ample screen and the insane charging speeds of the Nord 2T, and it's definitely a top contender in the budget space in 2022.

While not as big a rework as I would have hoped, the OnePlus Nord 2T is an improvement on the OnePlus Nord 2, which makes it one of the better cheap phones you can buy (unless you're in the U.S., unfortunately). Still, while I like the phone, recommend it comes with some caveats. The OnePlus Nord 2T is a better deal than the iPhone SE, whichever storage option you turn to. But Android fans who’d never consider an iPhone have a tougher choice. If you want to buy a mid-priced Android phone now, you’re picking between the OnePlus and the Galaxy A53. The lower starting price of the Nord 2T is a good reason to go with OnePlus’ phone, but paying extra for the Galaxy A53's higher microSD-enhanced storage capacity and software support could be more worthwhile than a fixed 256GB storage and extra RAM. If you can, hold off on a phone purchase until July, as that’s when the Google Pixel 6a debuts. Google's Pixel A-series phones are excellent for their price, and we'd expect the 6a to be no different, with Google's powerful Tensor chip and established photography credentials.

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is a simple update to the OnePlus Nord 2, so it’s a little surprising it comes at a time when we may be expecting a OnePlus Nord 3. Most of the OnePlus Nord 2’s pain points remain as well — the speakers are still tinny, the screen isn’t bright enough, and there’s no water resistance — leaving the new MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor to do all the heavy lifting when it comes to improving performance and appeal. While OnePlus has moved from the OnePlus 9 Pro to the OnePlus 10 Pro, the Nord 2T hasn’t made such a jump, so it feels like a phone that should have been released at most six months after its predecessor, and not 10 months. However, since the price is lower than before it’s still a solid purchase, but this also reflects how little has really changed compared to 2021’s Nord 2.

With a starting price of £369, it’s easy to forgive the Nord 2T’s few issues. This is a phone that is slim in the hand, feels fast to use, and has a screen that looks great to boot. Battery life is good, charging speeds are better, and the phone feels like a cohesive package. In typical OnePlus fashion, the only real thing you’re compromising on with the Nord 2T is camera quality, and it might be worth holding out for the upcoming Pixel 6A if that’s your priority on a midrange device. And, regardless of camera quality, doing so will also get you longer software support, which is important if you’re the kind of buyer who wants to get the most out of every phone purchase. The OnePlus Nord 2T isn’t a huge step forward compared to last year’s model. But at this point, it doesn’t have to be. It performs well and is enjoyable to use, and if you’re not concerned about having the best camera around, it’s an easy phone to recommend… so long as you live in one of the markets where OnePlus is actually selling it.

The OnePlus Nord 2T may not be that different to its predecessor but it's still one of the best phones for a small budget. Granted the battery life could be improved and it's not waterproof but such minor flaws shouldn't put you off. This is a fantastic piece of kit with a stunning screen, a capable camera and super fast charging.

大尺寸可以让屏幕有更高的分辨率。因而例如字体等的细节将会更丰富。不过另一方面,小屏幕的功耗会较低,而设备也会更轻盈小巧,售价更低。
