Reviews for the Oppo F11 Pro

For its price and value, the F11 Pro is an easy option if you're looking to buy a phone that packs some punch without breaking the bank. From the premium-looking design to its camera, the device is hard to be categorized under the mid-range segment, except of course if you start looking at its internals. More specifically, you might want to avoid this phone if you're someone who hates handsets with a huge screen since it's really bulky to hold. Those who constantly open dozens of apps at the same time and want an absolutely seamless experience may also wish to set their eyes on something else. Its lack of NFC support is also a bummer for many, except in markets where contactless payment systems are not mainstream yet.

Though it can’t surpass the R17 Pro, the F11 Pro still takes great night shots and delivers pretty good photo quality in low-light. The Vivo V15 Pro also offers similar features with a full screen display but the amazing design of the F11 Pro has won my heart. All in all, I am quite pleased with the OPPO F11 Pro as a mid-range phone. I truly appreciate the VOOC fast charging system, its promising design and the pop-up selfie camera which further enhances the display experience. Priced at RM1299, I would say it is a decent phone to own.

Oppo’s also included a Marvel theme in the software, but it’s not much of a theme. You get a nice “Avengers: Endgame” lock screen and home screen wallpaper, and that’s about it. There’s no custom icon pack or other extra software goodies. Aesthetics aside, the rest of the phone is identical to any other Oppo F11 Pro in terms of hardware and software.

I’ve been using the OPPO F11 Pro for a few weeks, and I’ve come to the conclusion that we’ve reached peak smartphone. For the average smartphone user, we’ve reached a point at which there’s really not a significant amount of difference between features in modern smartphones – even across price segments. The OPPO F11 Pro is a perfect example of this, as it’s called a “midrange” phone while it operates with top-tier abilities in all areas of any extreme importance.

Right after the tech giants like Samsung and Apple, it’s OPPO who comes up with something new in this saturated mobile market by giving it a breath of fresh air. One cannot deny the fact that the Guandong-based company has been relentlessly asserting the significance of new technology and innovation.

The OPPO F11 Pro indeed packs a good overall performance along with a stunning design to be worthy of its price. Then again, pop up cameras is not everyone’s cup of tea. If you liked what you’ve read in our review, you may place an order at your nearest OPPO concept stores. OPPO F11 pro is priced at P18,990.

The Oppo F11 Pro offers a complete package for its price. It brings and attractive gradient design with a strong but heavy build quality. You get an immersive, bezel-less display with no notch or hole-punch, and a long-lasting battery with VOOC fast charging that can easily take you through a full day and then some. You also get a great camera system backed by a 48MP camera and an impressive Nightscape mode.

Now considering all these highs and lows, let me start by saying that the F11 Pro doesn’t look cheap at all, believe me, it looks even better in person. You get an awesome edge-to-edge display, good battery, great cameras for photography, smooth security, and a balanced performing phone that can handle most of what you throw at it.

There is no official price for the F11 Pro in the Philippines as of this writing. Currently, OPPO is holding a “blind pre-order” where customers can pre-order the F11 Pro without knowing the official price. Since the F11 Pro is priced at around Php 18.6k when converted in India, we expect its official price in the Philippines to be at the sub-Php 20k mark.

The Oppo phones have often costed more than the competition and are considered to be more premium. Before it is arguable if the higher price was worth it based on merits alone, but it seems to be now. The F11 Pro is one of the cheapest smartphones to offer what's today considered as a 100% full-screen bezel-less screen, and a large one at that.

The F11 Pro is an excellent option in regions where it’s available. It’s not the most powerful smartphone in terms of raw specifications, but it offers some head-turning hardware with its pop-up camera, edge-to-edge display, and beautiful gradient colors. The ColorOS software is also very intuitive and the phone’s long-lasting battery will satisfy even the heaviest of users. For U.S. consumers, this phone won’t be much to get excited about, but if history is any indication we’ll most likely see much of the F11 Pro’s DNA injected into the next OnePlus flagship.

If you’re ready to pay for a phone with a pop-up selfie camera and a bezel-less display, Oppo F11 Pro is for you. This is the cheapest smartphone in the market that offers the motorised pop-up camera. Yes, it does come with a 48MP camera sensor, but the Redmi Note 7 Pro undercuts the F11 Pro in terms of performance, price, build quality, and better software interface. The choice is yours at the end of the day.

The Oppo F11 Pro's pop-up camera liberates space at the top of the display for a sleek, modern look. Yes, it is a moving mechanism and could get damaged by drops or by dust and grime getting into it, but it's also a great talking point. The battery life of this phone is impressive, and the VOOC fast charger does help topping the battery up quickly.

Oppo F11 Pro is one of the best-designed smartphones we have seen in this price band. The gradient finish gives a premium look and the display looks immersive. The processor is good, though it will have a tough time competing with the competition. The cameras look impressive and the battery capabilities are yet to test out. As for the competition is concerned, the smartphone will have a tough competition with Vivo V15 Pro, Nokia 8.1, Xiaomi Poco F1 and Samsung Galaxy A50.

The Oppo F11 Pro is priced at 24,990 rupees (~$350) and goes on sale in India starting March 15. Oppo is aiming at making the phone available across online and offline retail channels. With its combination of an eye catching design and nifty features like the pop up camera, the phone should definitely attract a lot of eyeballs on the shelves. Oppo has traditionally been very active with marketing in the offline channel and we feel a non-spec-driven audience might find a lot to like in the Oppo F11 Pro.

只有较少的手机有很大的屏幕。
大尺寸可以让屏幕有更高的分辨率。因而例如字体等的细节将会更丰富。不过另一方面,小屏幕的功耗会较低,而设备也会更轻盈小巧,售价更低。
