Reviews for the Oppo Realme 3 Pro

The OPPO Reno 3 Pro may have flown under the radar for many people since it sports a MediaTek Helio P90 chipset, but that doesn't stop the phone from producing good photo samples. As you can see from the photos above, the 108MP Image Mode is most impressive and I daresay that it might perform even better than some flagship's 108MP main camera. The Ultra Dark Mode also left a good impression and selfie lovers will probably have no problem with the front camera at all. All in all, can't really complain much about these 3 camera modes!

Unboxing of the OPPO Reno3 Pro Smartphone - And a quick review of Cameras, specs, features, battery and more. Thanks to OPPO for working with me on this video and providing a sample as early as 2 months before launch!

If you’re a student, young professional, or just browsing around for a value-packed smartphone, then the Realme 3 Pro would make a great choice due to the fact that it comes with good tech specs, design and features that are usually found on higher-end smartphones. The Realme 3 Pro is basically the same as the Realme 3 except with better performance, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset as well as 6GB of RAM. But that’s not all, the upgraded camera specs also gave a significant boost in terms of picture quality. I found the new Nightscape camera mode to be very useful, especially for taking pictures of subjects in poor lighting conditions.

All in all, what Realme has here is a real budget smartphone winner. If you don't have more than £200 to spend on a phone, and you're looking for as few compromises as possible, there's little that can outsmart it for the asking price.

If you're looking for a mid-range smartphone with decent specs for a great price, the Realme 3 Pro is for you. For £175 you get a phone with a good screen, much more than decent performance, acceptable cameras, an attractive design and a powerful battery. You'll have to give up an AMOLED screen, USB-C and premium build, but for the price it doesn’t matter.

Overall, the Realme 3 Pro seems a decent phone for the money. At just £179 you get a lot of features, a great screen, big battery and fast charging in a phone that's nice to look at.

For a budget smartphone, Realme 3 Pro ticks all the right boxes. It has stylish design, great performance, nice speakers, a good camera, and a big battery with fast charging support. The phone tries to offer everything at an affordable price and it manages to do that just right.

The Realme 3 Pro may be an underdog, but it’s an all-rounder with a standout camera for the price, not to mention very fast charging too. Provided you can get past the plastic body, micro USB port and lack of NFC, the rest of the smartphone delivers nothing short of excellent value.

We weren’t expecting to love the Realme 3 Pro, but we did. It combines a fantastic screen and a stellar camera for the price, with an all-day battery and ample power too. Rounding off the experience with a stable, smart UI, and while it doesn’t feel as rich as some of the competition, we would still recommend the Realme 3 Pro to just about anyone after a high-quality, affordable experience.

Realme may only be a year old but this aggressive Chinese manufacturer is pumping out phones like it’s on the clock. Despite gaining traction in markets like India and Indonesia though, none of their smartphones have been available in the UK, until now.

The Realme 3 Pro may make a big impact in the affordable phone market with its remarkably low price, but we won't know if it's worth the money until we get to our full review.

Midrange smartphones are the main market for volume sales. Over the years companies have tried to attack this segment with aggressive specifications followed by exuberant pricing, with a select few having a good deal of success. The latest entrant to this market is Realme, the budget brand of parent Oppo, who is coming out with its new Realme 3 Pro smartphone. This device, in terms of specifications for the price, is amazingly good value.

Being a Pro variant, Realme 3 Pro is way up to higher than its younger sibling, Realme 3. Aside from its stunning design language and powerful hardware specs, its camera capability has been upgraded giving you a stand-out mobile photography experience even in low light and a processor that is considered as an epitome of almost all midrange smartphones today.

I’m pretty impressed with what Realme has been doing. They’ve managed to provide products that other brands would have priced more expensively, at lower prices. From last year’s Realme C1 to the Realme 3 and Realme 3 Pro, they’re all great deals.

The Realme 3 Pro offers good design, a decent display, awesome battery life, and great performance. It’s the software and camera that could have been better but this doesn’t mean that they are bad. At this price point, this is one of the best smartphone in the market. If you are wondering whether to go for the Redmi Note 7 Pro or the Realme 3 Pro, then I’ll say both are pretty much same. However, if you are more into photography, go with the Redmi Note 7 Pro and for a slightly better performance and faster charging, go with the Realme 3 Pro.

The Realme 3 Pro is a surprisingly full featured phone that punches above its weight class with exceptional battery life paired with blazing fast VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 charging, great performance and pleasantly good camera performance. If you are looking for exceptional value and a top-shelf phone for just over RM1,000, look no further.

The new Realme 3 Pro comes with great value and definitely fantastic performance to match. It has VOOC 3.0 as well, and you can change to 100% battery within 70 minutes. The camera is quite decent though has a learning curve to it. Overall, great value with an undefeatable price.

The Realme 3 Pro comes at a starting price of Rs 13,999 (4GB variant) and the top-end variant is priced at Rs 16,999. It’s certainly a phone that will catch the fancy of budget smartphone buyers as it has a great battery, relatively good performance and reasonably good cameras. It checks almost all the boxes that budget smartphone buyers look for. It’s biggest competition is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro and perhaps Realme 3 Pro lacks in terms of looks and design but still will give the market leader a run for its money.

The Realme 3 Pro certainly lives up to the “Pro” moniker. It’s significantly more powerful and faster than the regular Realme 3, but that’s not its competition. The Realme 3 Pro’s closest rival is the Redmi Note 7 Pro and the company CEO Madhav Seth left no stone unturned to compare the device to Xiaomi’s best-seller. To be fair, both phones are incredible close in terms of both performance and camera. The UI is vastly different and while the Redmi Note 7 Pro offers ads on the homescreen, the Realme 3 Pro has greatly improved UI aesthetics. Finally, the Realme 3 Pro is perhaps the best gaming phone under Rs 15,000, and as a result, it is the perfect alternative to the Redmi Note 7 Pro which is focused on more on the camera.

At present, realme Malaysia hasn’t stated how much the realme 3 Pro costs but at launch in India, the 4GB RAM/64GB version retailed at RS 13,999 which is about RM831 while the 6GB RAM/128 retailed for RS16,999 which is about RM1031. Malaysia prices will likely differ somewhat so it should be taken as a rough indicator at best. According to realme Malaysia, the realme 3 Pro is slated to arrive in Malaysia sometime this 14 May 2019. We’ll keep you posted on any developments.

The Realme 3 Pro offers a fantastic value for its starting price of Rs 13,999, which should make you forget about its plastic-not-glass rear panel. Realme wanted to launch a Redmi Note 7 Pro challenger and the Realme 3 Pro fits the bill and often succeeds the Xiaomi phone. It's clear that the Realme 3 Pro is the phone to beat under Rs 15,000.

The Realme 3 Pro is a good iterative update over the Realme 2 Pro (Review), and for a similar launch price as the last model, you get a bigger battery, slightly improved cameras, new colour options, and a more efficient SoC. Existing owners of the Realme 2 Pro shouldn't feel any need to upgrade, as the gains are not that significant.

Pros and Cons lists for midrangers are typically a straightforward thing to write - in most cases we're dealing with okay camera, okay battery life, okay display, okay everything, and then stuff that's missing and we complain about it. If only Realme is kind enough to come up with a software update that improves video stabilization, we'd be left with almost nothing to complain about, and that's quite the achievement.

Is it really worth buying the Realme 3 Pro for Rs 16,999 when the Redmi Note 7 Pro offers something better at a similar price point? I think not. There really doesn't appear to be anything that the Realme 3 Pro does better, except for taking better selfies and slightly faster charging. If selfies and the slight faster-charging speeds matter, then Realme 3 Pro is for you. For everything else, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is a better choice.

The Realme 3 Pro is a pretty good device that brings the essentials needed to compete against other devices. What it lacks is a certain pizazz and stand-out features. Additionally, at least till the time we get confirmation on final software builds, the phone is missing a fair few features promised by the company. That’s not to say there are deal-breaking bugs here, but from the camera, to the Widevine support, to performance, we’ve been told to expect a rather big post-launch update.
