The RealMe C3 is almost a phone that you can get away with having. It’s a decent enough Android handset for the price. Unfortunately, the 32GB of on-board storage really cripples anything but the most basic of possibilities and the plastic feel-factor doesn’t endow it with any particular sort of appeal. The RealMe C3 is a budget phone trying its best to be a budget phone and, even if it’s pretty good at it, it cuts one too many corners for its own good.

How can it not be? It’s a smartphone with decent software features, dual SIM capabilities along with a microSD slot. The camera is definitely acceptable, especially for the price. The software, while a tad on the slow side, has some decent enhancements and features that should keep most people happy.

I will rate Realme C3 as 9/10 in the budget category. One mark is deducted because of its mediocre camera result. Otherwise, the performance of the phone is stunning. Especially if you’re a game lover and your budget is under 20K then this smartphone will be the best option.

The Realme C3 looks to be a decent upgrade from the C2. It’s got a sizable and bright display, a rather new entry-level gaming chipset, a decent battery life, and a pretty nice interface. Users might be disappointed in the lack of Nightscape and the device’s micro USB port. Still, for a price tag of PHP 5,990, the C3 is an impressively competent smartphone. It’s worth considering whether you’re switching from the C2 or just looking for a dependable entry-level device.

Realme has launched its latest budget smartphone, the Realme C3 in the Philippines. Coming in as the successor to last year’s C2, the C3 comes with a larger screen, a triple cameras, a bigger battery, and a Helio G70 chipset. Is it worth an upgrade from the C2? Find out in our review.

With a dual rear camera and a gaming processor, Realme C3 is definitely a good upgrade to Realme C2. Though the camera performance is not impressive, it must not be a major issue for the user base that the company aims to target. Instead, with a good battery life, a faster processor and a large screen, Realme C3 can be an option worth considering. Infact, this is one of the cheapest phones to come with the latest Android 10 operating system and brings features like system-wide dark mode to budget segment phones.

Assuming the phone drops below Php6,000, it will certainly be a top choice for anyone looking to game at a budget phone. A large screen with decent framerates on a large 5,000mAh battery, the realme C3 is shaping up to be an impressive release for realme.

The device performs well in most games. It is quite unbelievable that this phone can let you play with high settings even at its budget price of P5,990. The camera, however, is lacking flexibility for not having an ultrawide angle lens. Imagine if it got both an ultrawide lens and an FHD+ screen, this will be the new budget king. But we will let you decide, the realme 5i is the fastest-selling phone of realme in the market right now.

For the price of RM499, it’s difficult to recommend over the realme 5. The only real advantage the realme C3 has is in terms of performance – but that’s only noticeable in benchmarks anyway. And the power efficiency on the MediaTek Helio G70 is still subpar compared to Snapdragon.

For RM499, the realme C3 is a decent enough smartphone for the money. The camera does a better than expected job, and the performance figures in benchmarks are pretty enticing. However, the overall performance seen in daily use is frankly quite underwhelming. I kinda suspect that realme can improve the user experience by quite a bit with the appropriate optimizations. Whether realme will actually do it remains to be seen. As of now, it’s good enough as an entry-level smartphone, but it won’t be doing any mid-range killing anytime soon unless realme optimizes the software to better take advantage of its performance. We have heard of an update coming pretty soon, so fingers crossed

That’s pretty much it for this hands-on. We don’t know the official price of the phone yet, though in Indonesia the phone retails for around IDR 1,699,000, which is around Php 6.2K in our currency. If Realme sticks to Indonesian pricing, then they might have a real winner in their hands with this phone.

The Realme C3 is available for Rs 6,999 for the 3GB+32GB variant, and Rs 7,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant. The addition of MediaTek Helio G70 processor is a welcome move, as it makes the phone a performer. But the phone’s cameras disappoint. It could be a good option for those looking for a performer, but if you are looking for Instagram-worthy pictures, you might not be convinced.

The Realme C3 is a good budget smartphone that you will love if you are upgrading from a similarly priced phone that is over a year old or if this is your first smartphone. However, if your budget is more flexible, you can consider other options in the market, such as Redmi Note 8 or even the Realme 5 series, which fare better on camera parameters.

The Realme C3 is a solid update to the Realme C2, and it further strengthens the company's budget series. Realme has picked a powerful SoC that steamrolls the competition when it comes to performance. Battery life is excellent as expected, and Realme smartphones have been consistently acing our battery tests. Of course, camera performance isn't the best, but it is acceptable for the price.

Realme's C series of devices has been running up some impressive sales numbers in recent times. And now the brand has added a new product to it - the Realme C3. It comes with a brand new processor and a huge display and battery. But will they be enough to sustain its challenge in a Red(mi) world?

The Realme C3 is an interesting smartphone. We liked the new design language, which not only looks unique but is also comfortable to hold in one hand. The display looks average, though the performance would be one area where it should perform better than the competition. As for the competition is concerned, the Realme C3 will be put against Redmi 8A, Nokia 4.2, Moto E6s and more.
