Reviews for the Oppo Reno3 Pro 5G
Oppo wants to stir up the middle class and offer a smartphone with a high-resolution quad-cam with the Reno3 Pro 5G, which should also convince with a good display and a decent battery life. We'll clarify whether this works in the review.

Coming with a price tag of RM2,099, it’s hard to justify the OPPO Reno3 Pro. Don’t get me wrong, the device itself didn’t gave me a bad experience but with that price tag, there are a number of smartphones out there you can consider. If it was priced lower, I would easily recommend this to people.

It's great that the Reno3 Pro 5G has that flagship feel, it offers 5G connectivity, and the overall camera performance is more than just good but it's just not enough to make it stand out. There has to be a dramatic price correction for the phone to stay relevant in this cut-throat upper mid-range market where even last year's flagships are well within reach.

The Reno 3 Pro is an exceptional device that not only has great cameras, but also holds a respectable battery life, an intuitive user interface, and massive internal storage making it superb for day to day use. Although it does not boast any exceptional design construction, this device still packs a punch when it comes to performance and quality, making it the right candidate if you’re looking for something a little long-term.

The OPPO Reno3 Pro is a bit on the pricey side but comes with a good Super AMOLED display, impressively fast 30W Vooc 4.0 Flash Charge fast charging, lots of storage and a decent camera array. .

Oppo Reno 3 Pro is a mixed bag of the good and the bad. As we said before, the looks are good but do not stand out. A tall display and a good battery life are two key features that we loved about the device. The phone clicks selfies that are worthy of sharing on social media. The secondary lens on the front is the icing on the top. What may be a miss is the absence of a faster processor. This may affect the numbers on tables considering what the rivals offer in the same price segment.

Oppo Reno 3 Pro is versatile, especially with its camera flexibility, mobile filmmakers will love it. A mid-range device that offers lots of features, it feels like a flagship phone. A 4000mAh battery with flash charge is an advantage together with a super AMOLED screen. This device will satisfy you in every way. Oppo Reno 3 Series will give you a premium feel and definitely worth the bucks. Reno 3 Pro is now up for pre-order in the Philippines for P28,990 while the vanilla version has an official price tag of P18,990. You can watch our full review video of Oppo Reno 3 Pro here.

Usually, when we review a pro and non-pro variant of a new phone line, we almost always recommend getting the Pro variant because of the added features and better value for money. That isn’t the case for the Reno3 Pro.

If Find X2 Pro is the Underrated Flagship, this Oppo Reno 3 Pro is our underrated Flagship Killer, and here's why. Oppo Reno 3 Pro is now official in the Philippines the price of P28,990. We reviewed some camera samples of the world's first phone with a 44MP dual selfie shooter then we tested some games: Asphalt 9, Call of Duty, and PUBG, in summary, this phone can really compete with other flagships.

The OnePlus 8 Pro merges great hardware with some of the best software you can get. As always, there are nits to pick when it comes to the camera (and, if you're really picky, the screen), but even on a more pessimistic device comparison, there's not a lot that's bad about the 8 Pro. Making a list of the things wrong with something rather than what's right is actually one of my favorite ways to compare devices, precisely because when things are good, you don't notice, it's just the things that bother you that stick in your mind, and the 8 Pro has very little working against it. And that's why we're giving it our Most Wanted accolade.

To sum up my experience and the eventual reflection on the OPPO Reno 3 Pro – it’s an underrated conundrum. Offline buyers will feel it is underrated when they see all the negative feedback about the price and it is a conundrum for us tech enthusiasts because it is hard not to recommend to the enthusiastic buyer who doesn’t care about specifications or GPU performance.

The Oppo Reno 3 Pro just might be a turning point for the once experimental line -- there's no pop up, no telescopic lens, but there's still plenty to love about this third generation Reno device.

The Oppo Reno 3 Pro has stylish looks, a comfy form factor and competent cameras in an otherwise uninspired package. Performance is fair to middling and battery life is just okay. Factor in better priced rival smartphones, and the Reno 3 Pro becomes a hard phone to recommend.

If the average camera performance the slow charging speeds are a deal-breaker for you, Xiaomi has a solution -- the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. This is essentially the same device as the Redmi Note 9 Pro, but it comes with an improved primary 64MP camera that offers better low-light performance, a higher resolution selfie camera, and 33W fast charging support. Considering there is a very minor price difference between the two (Rs 2000/$28), buying the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max makes more sense than the Redmi Note 9 Pro.

In comparison, the Oppo Reno 3 Pro does not offer the same kind of performance. Its relatively weak processor is evident in our benchmarks. However, it isn't terrible for everyday use, and if you aren't a power user, you won't really notice the difference. Camera performance is decent for the price, but this phone could do with a few tweaks to improve video quality in low light. You can consider the Reno 3 Pro for its camera capabilities, but if you are looking for the maximum value for your money, the Realme X2 Pro should be your pick.

We don’t have prices for either device as of yet, as availability and the official launch will come in a few day’s time. But to give you an idea of how much the Reno3 Pro will be, it’s currently listed at Rs 29,990 in India, which works out to around 20.7K Php in our currency. Whether that would be the final price of the phone when it lands here is unclear.

The Oppo Reno 3 Pro is priced at Rs 29,990 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, and Rs 32,990 for the 8GB + 256GB storage variant. The phone impresses with its battery life, sleek design, and a decent performance. These make it an ideal smartphone for everyday use. However, its MediaTek Helio P95 processor doesn't live up to expectations when it comes to offering a smooth gaming experience.

Firstly, you should be an Oppo loyalist to be willing to spend Rs 30,000 on the Reno 3 Pro. Secondly, you get a great display and good cameras on the Reno 3 Pro. Thirdly, the battery on the Reno 3 Pro is worth appreciating. Fourthly, the design on the Oppo Reno 3 Pro is eye-catching and people around you will stare at it if they cannot be straightforward enough to ask you what phone this is. If these four points sound well to you, Reno 3 Pro is the one for you.

The OPPO Reno3 Pro has impressed with its camera features, the display quality, and the super-fast VOOC charging. You may find Snapdragon 855 powered smartphones in this segment which might be great for performance enthusiasts. Unless you demand better performance, the OPPO Reno3 Pro can be a great multimedia device and a great daily driver altogether.

So summing up, the Reno 3 Pro camera performance is definitely good in almost all areas except the ultra wide angle camera where the clarity was not great, both in photos and videos, but it can be fixed with software update. Oppo, with Reno 3 Pro, once again proves that they are the selfie expert with 44MP shooter which gives impressive selfies. All in all, the Reno 3 Pro has a good quad camera set up which wont disappoint you.

The Oppo Reno3 Pro has all bases covered as great phones should. It's got a class-leading vibrant and bright OLED; a generous 4,025 mAh battery, which provides great battery life; the 3.5mm audio jack is still here; and the overall camera experience is impressive even on the pre-production software. This cameras on the Reno3 Pro punch above its class.

For OPPO, the landmark product of OPPO Reno3 Pro represents the first dual-mode 5G phone of OPPO to join the 5G battle in 2020. As a product with a starting price of 3999 yuan, OPPO Reno 3 Pro is generally worth the money. It is the best choice for year-end purchases and the strongest flagship of the Snapdragon 765G platform currently available.
