Reviews for the Oppo Reno7 Z 5G

The Oppo Reno7 Z 5G is really a great phone in the mid-range if you are looking for something with cool specs and want to capture decent photos and videos with your family and friends, it can be considered a good choice. Though, it might not be on the level as its sibling the Oppo Reno7 5G smartphone. On the other hand, the hardware portion is something that expects from the Reno series. It’s pretty average from the rest of the competition. But still, the phone offers a noticeably good battery life that makes the overall experience great. However, we can’t deny the fact that it lacks in some sections such as audio, display, and storage. Despite all of the drawbacks, if you are looking for more features in the same price range, you should consider checking the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G as an alternative option.

With so many mid-range phones available, picking the right one can be tricky. Most of them have trade-offs in one area or another, so it's hard to find one with the right balance. The OPPO Reno7 Z isn't that great in general performance or gaming. But if you want an eye-catching mid-ranger with decent mobile photography performance, we'd say this phone is a solid choice. However, its asking price of RM1699 means it's pricier than most mid-range phones currently available. The POCO X3 GT (RM1299) is more affordable if you want a gaming phone, while the OnePlus Nord N10 (RM1199) has comparable specs and performance too. Having said that, neither of those phones can beat the OPPO Reno7 Z in terms of design. So, what's your impression of the phone so far? Would you pick the OPPO Reno7 Z 5G as your first 5G smartphone? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more reviews like this!

The Reno7 Z is the opposite of the Reno7: while it does have a modern boxy design with a unique LED breathing light on the camera modules, it scrimps with camera features. Unlike its predecessor, the Reno7 Z loses an ultra-wide-angle camera and the ability to shoot 4K video–but redeems itself with stellar battery life.
