技嘉推出了P27G v2，一款新的高端笔记本电脑，它更多是为“御宅族”设计而非为经常旅行的游戏玩家设计的。3.1千克的重量和接近5厘米的厚度确实不太方便携带。
对于需要更轻薄设计的消费者，一些其他的17寸游戏笔记本例如微星GS70或Aorus x7 v2可能更值得考虑。实际上技嘉采用的胶面触控板也不一定会讨所有用户喜欢。一般的音效质量和有限的处理器Turbo加速能力也限制了它的总分。
整体上，它的优势多于劣势，特别是在配置的方面。技嘉不仅为它配备了蓝光驱动和mSATA接口固态硬盘，还有充足的接口数量和升级选项（内存槽，2.5英寸设备空间，等等）。它的游戏性能也不差。Nvidia的GeForce GTX 860M可以在高设置下运行几乎所有游戏。再加上它的键盘背光，这个原本的Clevo准系统（Nexoc G728II）所缺少的功能，让P27G v2成为了一款很诱人的产品。
