To sum up, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 is a mediocre product, which may work in a pinch, but is definitely not recommendable. First of all, the laptop is so big and unwieldy that the hybrid format doesn’t make a lot of sense. In addition, it is very unergonomic, especially if you type a lot. The performance, on the other hand, is acceptable (if we disregard battery life), whereas the huge 15.6-inch screen, which has to make do with Full HD resolution, just doesn’t make sense.

Samsung's Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 is a frustrating mix of excellent and irritating features: bundling the S Pen is a good idea, but it's marred by the unusual magnetic attachment; the OLED touch screen is sharp and vibrant, but its FHD resolution is disappointing. Elsewhere the keyboard is good and performance of the Core i7 model solid, and the range of configuration options, including dropping down to a Core i5 and a 13.3-inch screen, means that buyers can choose exactly what works best for them.

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 is a powerful, lightweight laptop which will be especially well suited to creative work and streaming video. It might be lacking in a couple of small ways but all in all, it's a reliable PC with a lot going for it.

Thin, light, quick and long-lasting: there are plenty of things to like about the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360. There are, however, some issues that prevent it from winning an award. For starters, I’d like to see a screen with a higher resolution and refresh rate on a laptop costing this much. The stylus support, too, is glitchy and the meagre selection of physical ports and sockets is rather limiting. If nothing less than a large-screened 2-in-1 convertible will suffice, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 is worth considering, partly because of its keen price and partly due to the conspicuous lack of competitors. If you’re happy to make do with a standard laptop, though, you should spend your money elsewhere – there are far better deals to be had.

This is the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360, the second generation of Samsung’s vision for what an all-in-one laptop should be, and what I’d call a very interesting alternative to most conventional notebooks. See, I think the biggest problem with Windows computers is that the market is flooded with ordinary products. Some differences here and there, but then very little added value propositions to help you choose one over the other. You’re left to only do the math with specs, and even that can be confusing. This computer is actually none of that, but its value proposition really depends on how much you fit or want to belong to its ecosystem. I’m Jaime Rivera with Pocketnow and let’s dive in to our full review.

Provided that you know what you’re getting, I really don’t have many complaints about the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360. Its battery life is good, its screen is great, and it’s one of the lightest 15-inchers you’ll find. The various Galaxy ecosystem features will be icing on the cake for owners of Samsung phones and tablets. But the real highlight of this laptop is how effortless it is to transport places (and how effortless it is to bring a second screen along). I struggle to think of a model I’d buy over this one if I were looking for a light, 15-inch multimedia device (rather than a powerful workstation). The primary one that comes to mind is Microsoft’s 15-inch Surface Laptop 4. But that’s still a fairly different device; while it is slightly (and, in my opinion, not noticeably) lighter, the top model gives you half this Book2’s storage for the same price, it’s not a convertible, and it has a non-OLED display. For Samsung devotees, I think the Galaxy Book2 Pro is a no-brainer, and for everyone else, I think it’s worthy of consideration.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 doesn’t look much different from its predecessor, and if you own the original, there is not enough reason to upgrade here. However, if the dim display or weak hinges of last year’s model turned you off, the Book 2 Pro 360 should tip the scales for you. The 15.6-inch display in a 3.1-pound laptop remains remarkable while delivering a 2-in-1 form factor that makes it a dream laptop for traveling. Not only that, but it more than doubles the Geekbench performance of its predecessor, meaning that unless you have incredibly demanding needs, this vanishingly thin laptop has more power than you will likely ever need. My request for an S Pen silo is almost equivalent to my request for more key travel in this form factor; Samsung will likely need to violate the laws of physics to achieve either one. That leaves the webcam as my only real complaint — and that isn’t relevant for everyone and is solved with an external webcam. If you are in the market for a portable 15-inch laptop, or a large-screen 2-in-1, the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 belongs right at the top of your list.

Beyond these relatively small reservations, you can color us impressed with the new Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360. From its absolutely beautiful Super AMOLED display to its super-thin and light profile, this machine is a premium product at a competitive price point. Samsung did more than just refresh the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 with Intel's new 12th Gen Core processor platform here. The consumer electronics powerhouse also refined key areas of the device for a better overall user experience, from a brighter HDR OLED display, to an FHD 1080p webcam for better video conferencing, to a tighter coupling of its companion mobile device ecosystem with Windows 11. And of course, there's all the added responsiveness and multithreaded throughput that Intel's Alder Lake Mobile platform brings. The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro is an impressive new Intel Evo ultralight. If you're in the market for this kind of premium, wafer-thin machine, the Galaxy Books2 Pro 2 360 is a head-turning stunner that backs-up its looks with solid performance to boot.

The Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 doesn't do a lot different from its predecessor, but an internal upgrade never hurt anyone. Its 12th Generation Intel processor puts this 2-in-1 in the mix with other premium machines, including some content creation systems, though it's not quite as fast given its slim chassis. There aren't many clear downsides here; portability is the main attraction. Some alternatives like the Dell XPS top the Samsung's build quality and others edge its performance, but if you're looking for a versatile, productivity-focused desktop replacement, the Book2 Pro 360 delivers. The convertible form factor allows greater flexibility on the road, and the brilliant AMOLED display will make long work sessions a pleasure.
