The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 is perhaps the most compromise-free 2-in-1 convertible we’ve tested. Its refined design makes the laptop look and feel like a regular full-sized laptop, yet the display can rotate through 360-degrees, and the bundled S Pen turns it into an artist’s delight. The key component here is the new 16in AMOLED display. With a 3K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, it’s as fluid as it is sharp and vibrant. Performance doesn’t let the side down, though the battery will barely get you through a working day. Making full use of that beautiful 120Hz AMOLED display will really take its toll, too. It’s a shame the typing and trackpad experience isn’t quite at the elite level, meaning power users will still benefit from going for a non-convertible option over this one. But Samsung has produced its best 2-in-1 yet, without doubt.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 is a tastefully designed no-compromise style laptop that balances portability and build quality well. This is one of those PCs that feels as expensive as it costs. Sure you can get comparable laptops that weigh hundreds of grams less, but they won't feel anywhere near as solid. Display quality is great, the S Pen stylus adds a neat creativity angle, and the 13th Gen Intel CPU puts plenty of power at your fingertips. Its battery won't anywhere near as long as an M2 CPU MAcBook's under pressure, and the hinge is a touch loose for our tastes, but this is a top option if you want good portability without losing that premium feel, or a great big work surface.

For its asking price of Rs 1,63,990 (there’s a Core i5-powered version for Rs 1,55,990), the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 isn’t cheap. But then again, it’s a premium device that delivers on most aspects, including essentials like performance and battery life. Thanks to its large and capable 16-inch AMOLED touchscreen, its 2-in-1 form factor, and the inclusion of the S Pen, it seems ideal for creative professionals and content creators who can make the best use of the ample screen real estate and the power it packs in to craft their masterpieces.

I do not have many complaints about the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, but Samsung has a monumental task of convincing customers to go for this l expensive laptop, especially given the global economy. The highlight of the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 is its portable and stylish design as well as the stunning display. Performance-wise, you won't face many issues, though there are notebooks on the market with more powerful GPUs and CPUs for a much more affordable price. As I mentioned earlier, Samsung is not oblivious to these challenges, and the company is positioning its notebook for productivity-focused customers who value a great display, reliable performance, and long battery life. To an extent, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 ticks all these boxes, but the laptop makes more sense to buy if you're already in the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem. Otherwise, the M2 MacBook Pro is a great choice if productivity is your priority. If you want a powerhouse at the cost of a good battery and sleek design, the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED can be on your list. In the next generation, Samsung may consider improving the audio system, the placement of the trackpad, and reducing the bezels. Until then, the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 is a good reminder of the things money can buy.

Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 has a starting price of approximately $1900 (or $1899.99, if you prefer) if you purchase the device from Samsung's online store. You'll also get $150 which you'll be encouraged to use on other Samsung products immediately. You could get a Portable SSD T7 Shield USB 3.2 2TB unit for around $140 (assuming it's still on sale), a 1TB version of that SSD for about $80, or Galaxy Buds2 for approximately $110. Everything else has a price above $150 — and you've got to use it before you check out. This is the laptop you get if you're looking to buy the highest-end Samsung convertible notebook on the market today. If you take a step downward, you get the Galaxy Book3 Pro with a smaller display and a price that's several hundred dollars cheaper. If you step up, you get the Galaxy Book3 Ultra, a more traditional notebook (that does not fold back into a tablet) with a price of $500 higher than the 360. If you're looking for the best convertible Windows notebook for illustration and artwork on the market today, it's still Microsoft's Surface Laptop Studio. If you're just looking for the illustration and artwork features in a tablet, you're going to want to hit up the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, or even a member of the Galaxy Tab S7 family. They're ready to roll.

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 is a pretty impressive 2-in-1 convertible laptop that is well-suited for everyday use. It provides reliable performance and is lightweight, making it easy to carry around. Furthermore, the device’s responsive touchscreen allows it to double as a decent Windows tablet, providing an additional level of versatility. However, the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360’s battery life is its only real shortcoming. While it’s not terrible by any means, it falls short when compared to other devices on the market. And that OLED display, is really something that would make you want to ignore any shortcoming that you may see – it is that good. Then, there are a ton of exclusive software features that work in Samsung’s own ecosystem. Samsung has made a pretty solid laptop, even for people who are not yet integrated into Samsung’s ecosystem. For those who are, those who already have a flagship-level Samsung device, this is almost a no-brainer, especially if you’re usage involves using a touch screen and a stylus.

Now the most important question: should you buy the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 or not? The answer is a simple yes. The Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 is a gigantic machine that packs a vibrant display, a powerful core in a sleek and metallic body. The fast charger and the accompanying S-Pen stylus are a nice touch to the package. Overall, the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 is a power performer and it consistently delivers what it promises. Sure, there are areas where it could be even better, but in its current form, this convertible laptop is already a winner.

Pricing comes at a premium, without a doubt. Similar Core i7, 16GB RAM, and 1TB drive configurations may be available in competing models for much less, but the 120Hz OLED panel, included S-Pen (and support), plus other refinements like the whisper-quiet cooling solution don't come free. We feel the $1699 price tag is justifiable for those seeking a no-compromises experience. Samsung does have trade-in offers to bring the price down as well, which may be of interest. Regardless, the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 delivers a stellar user experience with a clean design and responsiveness that gets out of the user's way. It will naturally carry more appeal with those who are artistically gifted enough to leverage the full S-Pen potential, but that does not prevent it from being a compelling option for a traditional laptop user that may want to occasionally jot down notes. It is easy to recommend this new 2-in-1 hybrid, even in the saturated ultralight laptop market, because it sets itself apart by just doing a lot of things right.

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 is an elegantly built big-screen convertible and is appealing if a thin design, a relatively low weight, and long battery life are important to you. Its steep price and average performance keep it from clobbering the competition (namely the Lenovo Yoga 7i 16), however, and it doesn't shine as a tablet due to poor palm rejection and the lack of a stylus storage slot. The Samsung is a respectable 2-in-1, but it's not a slam dunk.

The Samsung Book3 Pro 360 is a premium 2-in-1 thin and light Windows laptop with a well-built Magnesium alloy chassis. It features a beautiful keyboard and trackpad combination and a 16:10 3k display with high brightness and showcases accurate colours, making it suitable for creating and consuming content. The laptop is equipped with an Intel Core i7-1360P with 12 cores in total, but only four are performance cores, limiting its ability for demanding tasks like video editing or 3D animation. However, it has a high battery life and a variety of ports, including two thunderbolt ports, an HDMI slot, an SD card slot, a USB Type-A port, and a 3.5mm jack. It's a good choice for those who prioritize battery life, a great keyboard combination, and a colour-accurate and vivid display.

Samsung’s 16” 360-degree convertible laptop has a combo of gorgeous 3K AMOLED display, sleek aluminum build, ample ports and an S Pen for 2023. Thanks to our sponsor Trend Micro's Premium Security Suite offering complete device and identity protection for up to 10 devices. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 is a tempting pick for artists looking for a larger, high resolution screen to draw on thanks to the Wacom EMR S Pen and it’s smooth lines, tilt and even pressure sensitivity. It’s also great for note takers and anyone who wants a stunning OLED display for watching videos.

If you’re hunting for a high-end hybrid laptop with plenty of power and a stunning screen, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 should be near the top of your list. Samsung has nailed the sleek and modern styling, supplied a comfortable keyboard, and hasn’t neglected connectivity too much either. Battery life could be better, however, and we’re still waiting for somewhere to stash the all-important S Pen. At £1849 it’s also a pricey machine – the Acer Swift Edge is a straight-up laptop rather than a 2-in-1, but has a similarly dazzling OLED screen for considerably less cash. That said, convertible fans might still consider the Galaxy Book’s flexible form factor a price premium worth paying. A premium, portable 2-in-1 with a gorgeous screen and plenty of power. Battery life could be better, but it otherwise excels for both work and entertainment.

And that concludes the story of what is going to be a tough laptop to beat in the big screen ultraportable space. The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 has updates in the areas where it matters like display and CPU, while sprucing up other elements like the keyboard, touchpad and webcam to make an excellent laptop. Sure, some problems remain — we still don’t have a place to store the S-Pen in the laptop, the battery life falls a bit short, and the screen is not as bright as we’d like. But with impressive ergonomics and performance in something this thin and lightweight, this is an excellent addition to Samsung’s lineup.

Yes, the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 performs well (although not as well as expected given its 13th-gen Intel CPU), gets great battery life, and enjoys a gorgeous OLED display. As a convertible 2-in-1, though, its standout feature is that it’s thin and light enough to use as a tablet more comfortably than its competitors. In fact, it’s one of the thinnest 16-inch laptops we’ve reviewed, period. Pricing is confusing right now, with a much more attractive preorder price than Samsung indicates will be the long-term pricing. That means it’s likely to be pretty expensive once it hits the mainstream. But it’s still worth it for anyone who wants a larger display for creating digital notes and drawings.

We see a lot of laptops which easily push north of $2,000 just by banking on a few new features. Here, Samsung’s Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 justifies its value with many more, on top of a somewhat reasonable price tag. For what you’re paying, the Book3 Pro 360 offers substantial upgrades over the Book2 Pro 360 as well as some best-of-class features, period. Even if you aren’t as in love with OLEDs as we are, the higher resolution OLED and refresh rate certainly help sell this laptop. Inking, the convertible form factor, its solid audio and webcam experience, and its presence as a 13th-gen Core Evo laptop do too. Buying a Samsung laptop to accompany a Samsung Galaxy phone is an ultimately less compelling need. We do think that the Book3 series offers something unique that maybe only the Asus Vivobook and Zenbook series seem to be consciously addressing: laptops focused on showing off content first and foremost. (Consider the Vivobook Pro 16 OLED as an alternative until we manage to test the latest offerings.) For all it brings to the table, Samsung’s Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 earns one of our first Editor’s Choice awards of 2023.

With its 360-degree screen and additional 5G connectivity, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 manages to set itself apart from the other members of the family. Its large screen might put some off, but it does feel like a good choice for more creative folk.

It wouldn’t be totally unfair to say last year’s Galaxy Book laptops were middle-of-the-road machines. They stuck to 1080p screens, while rivals were nudging closer to 4K, and had largely plastic builds to keep weight in check – something that didn’t gel with the premium prices. On first look, it seems the Galaxy Book 3 Pro series fixes all that. All three models feel like quality machines thanks to an all-metal construction, and have gorgeous 16:10 AMOLED screens that keep pace with established rivals like Acer and Lenovo. Performance should be a given, too, thanks to the Intel internals. The 14in model in particular feels like a perfect commuter companion, being small and light enough to sling in a bag, yet with enough power to get serious work done.

Alongside the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung has also launched the Galaxy Book 3 series of laptops. The revamped lineup sees a new Galaxy Book 3 Ultra as the most capable and powerful model aimed at creators, while the rest of the range is aimed at users seeking a lightweight laptop. All models have the 13th Gen Intel Core processors at heart and all of them feature AMOLED displays. And yes, the white colour from last year's lineup is gone as well. The Galaxy Book 3 series prices are yet to be announced for India.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 has the potential to be one of the best 2-in-1 laptops of 2023. It's a lightweight convertible for folks who want versatility from their computing devices. Based on what I saw, it seems like a worthy refresh of an already stellar laptop. I was a huge fan of its predecessor so I'm eager to see if the latest model will be one of my favorite tech products of the year. Of course, we'll have to see if it's as good in real life as it seems during a press event. We'll have one in for testing and publish our Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 review soon, so stay tuned for that!
