更精细。 作为三星Galaxy S7的继任者,该机运用了全新的设计语言,抓住用户眼球:窄边框,大屏幕。Galaxy S8也是比其姐妹机型更平衡的产品,而且价格更低。

The Galaxy Tab S8 is still a very good tablet. The 11in display is the ideal size – big enough to work on, small enough to use in one hand – and specs are strong despite the affordable price. I wish the screen was OLED, and Android still isn’t perfect for tablets, but there’s not much else to complain about.

At the time of writing (January 2019), the Samsung Galaxy S8 is an almost two-year-old device—and in mobile technology terms, that makes it pretty much an ancient smartphone. However, while the S8’s front camera cannot quite keep up with the latest high-end smartphones, it still delivers very solid results, with mostly good exposures and a very good balance between noise reduction and detail preservation in still image mode. Selfie videos are pretty good, too, with the exception of a slightly ineffective stabilization system that can result in distortion effects. Overall, the Galaxy S8 is still an attractive option for the budding selfie shooter, despite its age.

It’s clear that, with the Galaxy S8 and S8+, Samsung set out to create more than a phone. It’s trying to build a more Apple-like ecosystem, with devices ranging from the Gear VR and the DeX dock to the new Samsung Connect app for controlling smart home gear and the Bixby assistant. It’s also evident that Samsung hasn’t yet reached that goal, as Bixby’s voice features can be hit or miss.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a phone that should be one of the very first you look at when deciding which new phone you buy. The large, bezel-less display is truly iconic and beautiful, and the screen quality excellent. The fingerprint scanner being placed on the back of the phone is a poor decision from Samsung, as well as the iris scanner / facial recognition not working anywhere near well enough to be a real consideration. However, these aren’t deal breakers, and the improved battery life and tweaked camera will be among the best you’ll find on a top-end flagship. The Galaxy S8 is an expensive phone - have no doubts about that - but it’s one that we consider to be well worth the investment.

The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus continue Samsung’s recent penchant of combining outstanding smartphone design with an excellent display to create an all-around fantastic experience. The switch to the taller display has allowed Samsung to cram even more screen real estate into its new smartphones and in doing so, the company is setting the new standard for big-screen devices. Think back to what a big screen phone meant a couple of years ago and compare it to the Galaxy S8 and it’s clear that the future is much brighter, and we’re now closer than ever to phone that is all display.

If you’re upgrading from a previous Android or Galaxy phone, especially one that predates the S7, the Galaxy S8’s performance and battery life will not disappoint, no matter which SoC is used. I’ve since moved onto the HTC U11 — which charmed me with great battery life and an even better camera — but more recently I’ve transitioned to the OnePlus 5 my daily driver. The lightning quick fingerprint sensor, insane amount of RAM, and stupid fast speed of the phone was enough to keep me. I still think the Galaxy S8 is a great phone, don’t get me wrong. The Galaxy S8 isn’t the first phone to offer a nearly bezel-free design, and yet it looks and feels more modern than the LG G6 (despite Samsung’s awkward fingerprint-sensor placement). The Galaxy S8 is the Swiss Army knife of smartphones. Just because it does most things well, doesn’t mean it’s perfect. You can find other devices that offer better audio, better cameras, better displays, modularity, or even better pricing for similar spec’d hardware — but you’ll be hard pressed to find a smartphone that does so much with as much style and beauty as the Galaxy S8. Samsung has made some very positive changes to the Galaxy line this year. Ditching the physical buttons makes the phone more pleasant to use, and the pressure sensitive home button is a great idea. It’s one of the best devices we’ve tested for autofocus, with smooth, fast ,and accurate performance in all lighting conditions. Shooting outdoors, white balance is very good, recording virtually no colorcasts or errors during our tests. The Samsung Galaxy S8 also records very low levels of noise in almost all lighting conditions, which should be appealing to photographers looking to record portraits with smooth skin tones. The Samsung Galaxy S8’s main weakness for stills is linked to its low noise, however, as its pictures have lower levels of sharpness compared to those of its main competitors.

Even though this might not be the best phone, the Galaxy S8 is definitely the best smartphone from Samsung till date. It has a brilliant Infinite display that blends seamlessly into the body of the phone on all the side and the new Samsung UX complements it. Build quality of the phone is good and the performance is good as well without any lags. One of the main concerns is the placement of the fingerprint sensor on the back that makes it useless. Hope the upcoming Galaxy Note8 will use under-glass fingerprint sensor as rumored. Samsung could also have used a better camera sensor to compete with the Google Pixel, since the images taken on the S8 is not a huge improvement compared to Galaxy S7. Apart from the irritating performance of the biometrics and the high price, the Galaxy S8 is a phone that offers an exceptional experience for any user. The large screen is a real turning point in flagship phone design and should usher in the end of large bezels, and the camera and slick performance work brilliantly under the finger. It commands a premium price, but make no mistake: this is a truly premium phone.

Most definitely yes. The Galaxy S8 is Samsung's best phone ever. In fact, it's safe to say, that it's the best Android phone in the market right now. I like the Galaxy S8 more because it's more handy and convenient. But, the 3,000mAh battery inside the Galaxy S8 does leave me asking for more. While most users would be able to get one full working day of usage out of it, heavy users will have to charge it at least twice every day. It charges like a speeding bullet though which is a big plus.

There are quite a few exciting phones releasing in the second half of the year including Samsung’s Note 8 as well as Apple’s new iPhone and Google’s new Pixel. However, with the S8, Samsung has set the bar very high for other phone manufacturers to follow and unless a phone is spectacular, it won’t be able to beat the Galaxy S8. It’s easily the best smartphone out there at the moment and I don't see that changing for the next few months.

On the other hand, even how beautiful the Samsung Galaxy S8 is, the smartphone is still not the perfect build. In fact, the glass back part of the flagship device cracked on the very first drop, as tested by CNET. There are a series of torture test that leads to the damage of the phone: hip-height drop, eye-level drop and SUV height drop.

While we’ve only had the Galaxy S8 for a couple of days, our first impression is generally positive. It’s packed with features, TouchWiz is more refined, and it performed well in our first performance and battery life tests. A few issues are already apparent, however. Your face probably will not be smiling if you try to rely on it to unlock the phone, and the fingerprint sensor is located in just about the worst possible place. Samsung’s Bixby assistant also is not yet fully functional; fortunately, you can still use Google Assistant while you’re waiting for Bixby to mature.

The Samsung 2017 flagship, compact edition. Can the Galaxy S8 make even the die-hard fans of the big-screen experience consider converting? Think about it - you get so much screen in a phone that's practically as wide as a iPhone 7. Heck, the S8 is just 3mm wider than the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, the last of the true Xperia Compacts.

This is the kind of usability nightmare that would have instantly killed our ability to recommend the phone, if it didn’t also include an iris scanner that is impressively fast, reliable, and secure. It’s improved a bit since its debut on the ill-fated Galaxy Note7, and while you do need to use your fingerprint for some apps, unlocking your phone and signing in to Samsung apps with your eyes is fast, secure, and reliable enough to greatly mitigate the disastrous fingerprint scanner placement.

Despite the stark new appearance and display aspect ratio, it is yet to be decided if this new, almost bezel-less design trend of the Galaxy S8 is going to lead to a meaningful change in how we experience the smartphone as a tool. Having the bezels reduced is perfectly OK when it comes to aesthetics, but introducing an extra tall display is a change of practical meaning. Throughout this review, we saw that the taller display could be a double-edged sword. On one hand, it does allow for more content to be shown without increasing the width of the phone, which is always good, but on the other, it can lead to usability discomfort in case the user interface and the content viewed are not optimized well enough for the extravagant aspect ratio. And in the case of the Galaxy S8, we can’t say that all has been executed flawlessly.

For the most part, Samsung’s Galaxy S8 is a slam dunk. It’s brilliantly designed, brimming with horsepower and has a beautiful screen. That’s all most people will need, and our gripes are minor. Samsung found the right formula in the Galaxy S8. It dialed in the exact amounts of high design, technical power, and quality build needed to deliver a near-perfect smartphone. The S8's flaws are so few and far between I can hardly bring myself to bother repeating them here because everything else is so darned good. The Infinity Display and the metal/glass chassis that embraces it are impressive beyond words. The oblong shape may require a short adjustment period, but I assure you you'll fall in love with the S8, if not for its good looks then for its proven performance and winning personality. The Galaxy S8 may seem to offer little more than last year's Galaxy S7 Edge, and in many ways, that's true. What it does is refine the product even further. In an extraordinary feat of design and engineering, the S8 squeezes the biggest-ever screen into a mainstream phone, but keeps the device dimensions to a manageable size. Samsung is redefining the limitations of a smartphone and this is evident in the Galaxy S8. This year, the focus is on the big display and the large screen real-estate of the S8 will blow you away. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is simply gorgeous. Gone is the S7's flat screen, and in its place is a tall, narrow drink of water with two curved sides. This is a phone that felt at home in my hands when I went hands-on with it for several hours at a journalist briefing in San Francisco. Better even than the LG G6, which has similar proportions but no curved screen, and sleeker than the iPhone 7 Plus, which puts a smaller screen on taller, wider body. For the first time, every major Samsung phone is an "Edge" model, with the Edge and Note's curve-screen software and all.

With all the bells and whistles of the Galaxy S8 and S8+, it’s only understandable that the phones will be quite expensive when it arrives in the Philippines. Prolific leaker Evan Blass posted expected European pricing for both phones a few days ago and it isn’t pretty. Even accounting the fact that European pricing will always be higher due to higher taxes, you can expect the Galaxy S8 to be priced near the 40K mark, while the Galaxy S8+ will certainly be in the low 40’s. That’s pricing approaching iPhone territory, though you will have to consider that both devices use large, hard-to-produce curved Super AMOLED panels. Still, that price though.

Our first look at the Samsung Galaxy S8 makes us excited to get our hands on the review units sooner rather than later, but the release information currently puts pre-orders at March 30, with the phone making it into your hands by April 21. Most carriers in the US will be offering the Galaxy S8 for $750 and the Galaxy S8 Plus for $850.

这是比较大的智能手机尺寸,也十分常见。
大尺寸可以让屏幕有更高的分辨率。因而例如字体等的细节将会更丰富。不过另一方面,小屏幕的功耗会较低,而设备也会更轻盈小巧,售价更低。
