Would I recommend buying the Galaxy Tab S10+ at its $1000 MSRP? No. Despite being among the most powerful Android tablets we tested, we cannot justify paying almost double the price of the similarly fast OnePlus Pad 2 (review), which also are frequently offered in discounted bundles with its cover case or keyboard case. It may be a bit easier to justify getting the Galaxy Tab S10+ if you are deeply invested in the Samsung ecosystem. And if you have a recent Tab S9 or S8 model, you probably won’t get to notice a return on your investment. Yes, the Galaxy Tab S10+ is a powerful and versatile tablet with a premium build and design, but we are not sure if it is worth the price difference over the previous generation’s base model's current prices (not to be confused with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE models).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus is the best of both worlds, sitting between a phone and a laptop. It has perks if you prefer writing text, with its included S Pen stylus, and it aces tasks that take advantage of everything the stylus has to offer. But to the casual consumer, these specialized features would likely be a waste, and I'd instead push you in the direction of the Tab A series. The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus has exceptionally rich sound to match its beautiful AMOLED display, and it's comfortable enough to hold for a while in its landscape form factor. It's no surprise that streaming content and listening to music with the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus is so satisfying.

The Galaxy Tab S10+ is either the best or second-best Android tablet you can buy, depending on how much you value the additional size of the Ultra model. Through the S-Pen, AI features and the One UI, Samsung has done its best to make it a powerful business tool that can run the most demanding Android apps. It is expensive, but the screen, features, and overall quality do a solid job of justifying the premium price. And while Apple still has the performance advantage and the richer app and service ecosystem, a lot of business users are going to find all they need through web-based apps and the Google Play Store. That's enough to make the S10+ a viable alternative to a laptop for travel and mobile use – especially with the right accessories. It's still not going to be your primary PC, but it's a brilliant sidekick slate.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ is for people who want an Android tablet that fits in with the rest of their Samsung ecosystem, need more than the somewhat slower Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ FE has to offer, but can’t justify getting the fully Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. I’ve really loved using the Tab S10+, it’s hands down the best Android tablet under $2,000.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus comes with Galaxy AI baked in along with a vibrant display, good battery life and powerful specifications to tackle gaming and serious work with equal ability. It doesn’t come cheap but is currently the best Android tablet in the market.

Samsung hasn’t messed with its Plus-tablet formula this year, offering a familiar full-sized tablet package. It’s a very capable one though, with an excellent 12.4-inch OLED display, solid performance, and a brilliant bundled-in S Pen stylus. The design hasn’t changed, but it remains one of the slimmest and most pleasant to wield examples of its type. Meanwhile, its battery will get you through a full day of light productivity use or media consumption. It’s still not the ideal tablet for productivity hounds, though. Apple’s iPad Air and iPad Pro family outperform it and have superior app support. Meanwhile, Samsung’s AI tools run the gamut from cool-but-pointless to genuinely useful. We’re not quite sure why Samsung has opted to drop its smaller model, but the Galaxy S10 Plus remains an easy recommendation for anyone after a capable super-sized Android tablet, especially if media consumption and note-taking are priorities.

Unfortunately, the tablet only comes with a charging cable and the usual SIM eject pin and quick start literature unless you’ve taken advantage of its early bird preorder offer which bundled in a free Book Cover Keyboard Slim case. Stay tuned for a full review as we put it through its paces!

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ is an excellent tablet for both multimedia-heavy consumers and creatives. Combined with the S Pen and keyboard case, it makes for an attractive laptop replacement, especially if you’re not a heavy user. Ultimately, it depends on whether you’d prefer a laptop or are willing to make the jump to this. Between this and the Ultra, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ is certainly the better value for the price but if you want even better value, you might need to wait for an FE model if it ever happens again.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ is a powerful, speedy, and well-built tablet. Its MediaTek processor means it can handle everything from video calls and drawing to gaming and productivity. Samsung's software tweaks push Android further than the competition, and Galaxy AI introduces even more functionality and fun. Add it all up, and the Galaxy Tab S10+ is our Editors' Choice winner for flagship Android tablets. If you can live with a lower-quality screen, slower performance, less battery life, and no Galaxy AI, you can get many of the same multitasking features for nearly half the price with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, our top pick for midrange Android tablets. And if the Apple ecosystem is more your speed, the iPad Pro is your best bet for tablet-powered productivity.

I really like the Galaxy Tab S10+, but you need to know what you're getting into. Despite launching a little over a year after its predecessor, Samsung's latest flagship 12.4-inch tablet is entering into a completely different market. In this price range, Android suffers from a lack of prosumer apps, which isn't true on more traditional desktop operating systems. Some people might be able to fit their entire workflow into DeX, but I simply can't. If you own a previous Galaxy Tab S-series slate, you should probably keep waiting for a more revolutionary upgrade — likely in terms of power, not design — or take advantage of Samsung's newly discounted stock of last-gen Galaxy Tab S9 products.

So in the end – should you buy this Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+? I do think that the performance coming out of that Dimensity 9300+ chipset is magnificent. Combined with the magnificent anti-reflective screen, this is a unique tablet compared to anything else in the market right now. The price of the tablet is RM4,599 or $1,000 USD for the 256GB version. For us here in Malaysia, it’s actually a whole lot cheaper than the other pro tablet that is on the market. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ is also going to be my main tablet moving forward – and I just like it a lot.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus shapes to be a pretty minor refresh, even by the standards established by other minor refreshes. That's the trend these days, with most companies playing it extremely safe with intergenerational refreshes. Well, we can't draw conclusions until we've reviewed the device, but judging from all the changes, you probably shouldn't upgrade if you already have a Galaxy Tab S9 Plus that you're pleased with. If you're using a Galaxy Tab S8 Plus or even a Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, then there might be ground for upgrading. However, we will reserve our final judgement for now.

Finally, there are the features. Samsung has always created feature-rich smartphones and the FE is no different. Much like the rest of the S24 line, the FE includes AI-powered tools like Circle to Search, Live Translate, and Composer, which uses AI to generate text whether you’re writing an email or a social media post. It’s sort of a souped-up predictive text. There are also plenty of photo-based features such as Instant Slow-Mo, and Portrait Studio which give an artistic flair to selfies, reimagining them as watercolors, sketches, and comics. And of course, there are Generative Edit and Edit Suggestions for easy-peasy photo-editing.
