东芝的Tecra Z50 A-12K相比较小的Tecra Z40 A-147给人更完整的感觉。首先，它提供了更高质量、有更广可视角、更高分辨率、色彩还原更准确的屏幕。其次，键盘使用起来更舒适，尽管按键反馈仍然难以满足需要经常打字的用户。
