Reviews for the Vivo V25 5G

The Vivo V25 was supposed to be a decent option in the mid-range segment, and it does deliver some value to a certain extent. You are getting a good set of performance, 5G connectivity, battery life, and amazing camera quality. But several other factors need to consider such as IP rating, android update, protective coating, better refresh rate, and so on. We can’t overlook the downside, and letting those flaws go away will result in a bad deal for the readers. If we have to recommend a better smartphone, then we suggest you check out the Samsung Galaxy A53 smartphone which cost a little more and comes with better specifications. So make the final decision according to your needs.

The vivo V25 is one power-packed device with good photography capabilities, an all-day fast-charging battery, and huge RAM and storage. It’s chic-looking, too, whether you opt for the Sunrise Gold or Diamond Black colorway. At P23,999, you get all these plus 5G connectivity, a gorgeous AMOLED screen, and more. Yup, like we said above, this phone makes for a good gift. We guarantee it will put a smile on your recipient’s—or your—face.

The Vivo V25's color-changing back design is a rare sight in this price range, lending a premium feel to this mid-range model. This is backed by impressive cameras and a surprisingly long battery life. It does, however, have a less snappy performance than the competition and has a few other flaws.

The vivo V25 delivers plenty of value at that price point. It retains the fancy Fluorite AG Glass color-shifting exterior, which is as eye-catching as ever. It also has a solid display, great battery life and fluent performance for its class. Even in its downgraded state, the selfie setup on the V25 remains impressive and a spotlight feature of the entire device. The rest of its camera setup is well-rounded too. The vivo V25's weak points are the lack of formal ingress protection rating. Its single speaker is overall unimpressive, and so is color accuracy on the display. And the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset on board is technically a downgrade from the Dimensity 920 inside the V23 5G. That means the the vivo V25 is a well-rounded midranger with an eye-catching exterior and a decent value proposition. We are confident that it will serve any owner well. That being said, given the huge number of competitors out on the market, it wouldn't necessarily be our first choice at this price point.

The Vivo V25 is a decent affordable mid-range Android phone well suited to those who want a glass-backed phone without spending a fortune. It doesn’t have as many notable high points as the Vivo V25 Pro, though, as its gaming power is significantly worse and the camera does not perform quite as well at night. The design, while still a stand out feature, won’t please everyone either. Its straight iPhone-like sides may seem too severe for some, and do not mask the phone’s (entirely fine) thickness like the V25 Pro’s curved glass style. Still, the rear textured glass does look and feel great compared to the plastic used in other models. From a UK perspective availability is perhaps the biggest issue. The Vivo V25 isn’t sold widely, and while good the phone isn’t worth paying additional customs charges for.

The Vivo V25 5G is among the better-looking smartphones out there. The colour-changing design helps it stand out from the crowd. Moreover, the phone offers a good screen, decent cameras, and respectable battery life. But, for the price, the Vivo V25 5G could have done better.

Wondering if Vivo V25 5G is worth considering? Choosing the best phone under Rs. 30000 is very challenging, as you have a lot on offer with amazing features. The V25 5G is a decent smartphone that tries to offer almost everything you require from a phone in a mid-range segment. With a unique color-changing design and advanced cameras to great battery life, the phone has a lot on the platter. However, Vivo could have offered a better chipset like the ones used in V25 Pro, or V23, thus enhancing the performance of the phone. Considering the price range, Vivo could have also gone with stereo sound or at least a dual speaker. Competitors like Oppo Reno 8, iQOO Neo 6, and Nothing Phone (1), give tough competition to the V25 5G when it comes to camera performance, gaming, and overall performance.

The Vivo V25 comes out to be a decent phone with a beautiful colour-changing design factor. This sole feature of the phone makes it stand out from the crowd. It also offers good performance and a lag-free experience, along with a great primary camera. I wish Vivo had given a 120Hz display but the 90Hz also does a good job. Moreover, the 44W fast charging quickly charges the battery which gives a decent backup. All in all, the Vivo V25 5G is no doubt a good smartphone under 30K, but there are a lot of options in this price segment. It is a great choice if you are looking for a premium-looking device with good cameras.

Like its predecessor the Vivo V23, the Vivo 25 is a competent all-rounder with a particularly eye-catching colour-changing design. And akin its predecessor, that’s simply not good enough to raise it to the top of an increasingly competitive mid-range market. Rivals such as the Pixel 6a, the Nothing Phone (1), and the OnePlus Nord 2T all offer significantly more impressive performance and more colour-accurate displays, not to mention more impressive camera systems. And likely, longer software support as well. Given the lack of firm UK and Europe release plans for the V25, Vivo may itself have concluded that picking a fight with such titans is unwise. Even if you do see the phone appearing in your region, however, you should know that while it’s far from a bad phone, you can do better for the money.
