Reviews for the Vivo V27 Pro

75% Vivo V27 Pro Review: Midrange Powerhouse
Source: Phandroid English EN→zh-CN
At a price of around $459, the Vivo V27 Pro is a phone that gets a lot of things right. It packs good performance, a great-looking display, impressive fast-charging, and decent photographic capabilities into a good-looking package, at a cost that’s half of what you pay for with most flagships. As we mentioned, there are some caveats though, and the lack of wireless charging and dual stereo speakers, as well as the abundance of pre-installed third-party apps might leave users thinking twice before spending their cash. But if none of these really bother you, then by all means get this phone. At the end of the day it gets the essentials right, but keep in mind that this is still a mid-range device through and through. The Vivo V27 Pro is a phone that gets a lot of things right. It packs good performance, a great-looking display, impressive fast-charging, and decent photographic capabilities into a good-looking package, at a cost that's half of what you pay for with most flagships.

Vivo V27 Pro Review: Shooting for the Mid-Range Crown
Source: Petapixel English EN→zh-CN
If it were more widely available, it would be hard not to take a good look at it as an alternative to others. But when it comes to those up against it, the Samsung Galaxy A54 comes to mind as a phone that continues to quietly benefit from the trickle-down effects of the S series. The Google Pixel 7a follows a similar path, so it’s hard to pass up for the photography aspect alone. Google’s latest “a” phone barely has a gap between it and the flagship Pixel 7, which is why it may be one of the best value options for 2023. Don’t rule out the iPhone 14 if your budget has room and you want to prioritize video recording.

90% Vivo V27 and V27 Pro Review: Quality, Affordability, and Impressive Cameras
Source: Gear Diary English EN→zh-CN
If you’re in a country where the Vivo phones are sold at retail (per their website, that would be Bangladesh, Laos, Nepal, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Russia), they’re definitely worth checking out. You’re likely to fall in love with their build quality and lovely colors! For the rest of us, you can track them down on eBay, with prices ranging from $499 to around $680, depending on whether you go for the Pro and what memory configuration you choose. The impressive part is that the Vivo V27 and V27 Pro are excellent phones offering fantastic cameras at reasonable prices. Not every car is a sports car, and not every phone is a flagship, but these are phones you’ll be happy to daily drive any day!

Vivo V27 and V27 Pro Smartphones Review
Source: OI Spice Tech News English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo V27 smartphone is one of the few phones that comes out a great deal the flagship mid-range phone. But it does lack performance aspects as compared to the Pro version. While at the same time, the curved panel does give the V27 Pro a premium appearance. But not everyone likes curved displays in the first place. However, the camera aspect grants presentable results with decent battery life to support your daily routine. If you have to choose a phone between these two, we recommend you go with the Vivo V27 smartphone. It comes out as value for money deal as it renders decent performance, incredible camera quality, impressive display, fast charging, and long-lasting battery life. All of these factors are also available in the Pro variant, which offers more processing power with a curved display appearance. If you desire those things, you can pick the Vivo V27 Pro in the meanwhile. In case you are looking for an alternative option you can check Oppo Reno 8T smartphone in the budget range.

85% Vivo V27 and V27 Pro Review: The Mid-Range Phones That Everyone Needs
Source: Make Use Of English EN→zh-CN
If you're on a budget, you already get a lot of phone with the Vivo V27. It lets you do your everyday social media browsing, video watching, listening to music, and light gaming with no problems. But if you're more of a gamer or plan to edit photos and videos on your smartphone, the V27 Pro is worth the extra US$60 you have to shell out. When it comes to photography, both phones have their pros and cons—the V27 Pro has more vibrant colors and looks more natural in challenging light conditions, but the V27 performs better with finer details in macro mode. Nevertheless, we'll still recommend the V27 Pro for photography because of its more powerful SoC. Five years ago, you needed to buy a flagship smartphone to get high-quality cameras, ultra-fast charging, long battery life, decent memory and storage, and a great screen. But with the V27 Pro, Vivo has shown that you can get these and more without spending a ton. So, if you're looking for a smartphone that'll do everything well and is enjoyable to use, go for the V27 or the V27 Pro. You can't go wrong with either phone.

80% Vivo V27 Pro Review: Stylish phone with great all-round performance
Source: Android Headlines English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo V27 Pro is an easy recommendation for anyone looking to buy a stylish and powerful premium mid-range smartphone. It gives you segment-leading display, day-to-day and gaming performance, battery life and charging speed, and photo and video quality. The software experience is superb too, with numerous customization options. Like most other phones, you will have to deal with a few bloatware that can be uninstalled or disabled easily. That said, this segment is quite crowded with many other excellent devices, including the aforementioned Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. We haven’t evaluated the latter for its everyday performance yet, but it already has the advantage of longer software support. In that sense, Vivo’s offering would feel outdated in just a couple of years with no new Android features to look forward to. But otherwise, the Vivo V27 Pro doesn’t falter much.

80% Vivo V27 Pro review: It takes the fight to last year's flagship phones
Source: Android Central English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo V27 Pro is a pretty damn amazing phone, and the massive display is fascinating if you consume tons of content. It has the raw power that performance seekers crave, capable of handling all of your daily tasks and allowing you to juggle social media apps with ease. If you're constantly trying out the latest high-end smartphone game, the Dimensity 8200 chipset is the least bit limiting of all mid-range processors. Overall, the V27 Pro is a fine phone for the price, with a great screen, versatile main and selfie cameras, and a solid processor. But the company is churning out the V models at such a rapid pace that it has become difficult to find any meaningful upgrade over previous generations. Like last year's model, the V27 Pro is undoubtedly quite the looker, but it’s far from being the perfect mid-range smartphone.

80% Vivo V27 Pro Review: Many Ifs and Buts
Source: NDTV Gadgets English EN→zh-CN
If you have come this far, you already know that the Vivo V27 Pro would be a good choice for those who want a phone with an excellent in-hand feel. The colour-changing trick is subjective but its novelty might wear off soon. The camera performance, especially the front camera, is also quite good for the price. The Vivo V27 Pro does not disappoint when it comes to performance. However, it tends to feel warm quickly due to its slim form factor. While the display by itself offers a good experience and supports HDR10+, popular video streaming apps couldn't detect the latter feature which I felt was a letdown. What's an even bigger bummer is a single speaker setup in a phone at this price. There seems to be many ifs and buts with the V27 Pro, which is a little disappointing. Plus, the competition offers better hardware for the price. Vivo's own sub-brand iQoo offers better value when it comes to performance with the iQoo Neo 7 5G (Review). The OnePlus 11R 5G (Review) offers a better display, good main camera, and a bigger battery with faster charging. The Vivo V27 Pro gets maximum points for its design and camera performance, and If you are someone who needs exactly that while not caring much about the rest, it could be a good option for you.

Vivo V27 Pro vs V27 | Unboxing & Comparison
Source: Tech Spurt English
Unboxing the Vivo V27 Pro vs the regular Vivo V27 5G, including a hands-on review of the camera tech, full gaming test, specs, features and more. I've had my SIM in the Vivo V27 Pro for a full week too, so here's my thoughts on the battery life and that Fun Touch 13 experience. The camera hardware is identical between these two mid-range 2023 phones. You get a custom IMX766V sensor with larger pixels, and the Vivo V27 Pro and V27 5G certainly take good low light photos. One of the major differences between these smartphones is the performance. While both blowers are powered by Mediatek chipsets, the Dimensity 7200 of the V27 5G is upgraded to the 8200 in that Vivo V27 Pro. Genshin Impact plays well on either, thanks to the dedicated cooling and generous memory. Battery life and the lack of stereo speaker action are among the only weaknesses. Otherwise I had a good time with these Vivo phones.

Vivo V27 Pro Review – Great Cameras With Premium Look
Source: Cashify English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo V27 Pro turns out to be a solid mid-range premium phone with great design and potent upgrades over its predecessor. The colour changing back, solid everyday performance, a great primary camera and stunning display make up for an attractive deal. You get a decent battery backup paired with 66W fast charging which is nice. The slim and lightweight build adds on to the whole experience. Well, there are a few things missing here, like a stereo speaker setup and an IP rating. However, if you can skip those, the Vivo V27 Pro is a great mid-range option if you are someone who prioritises camera and design.

vivo V27 Pro Review: A worthy successor to a quirky mid-ranger
Source: Think Digit English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo V27 Pro looks very premium and there are a few quirky features working for it like the colour changing design and a wedding mode for the camera. The smartphone is also quite powerful, showing one of the highest scores in its segment in all the benchmark tests we threw its way. The Vivo V27 Pro is, without a doubt, a worthy successor of the V25 Pro and the V23 Pro before it.

Vivo V27 Pro review: Perfect phone to capture Indian weddings
Source: The Indian Express English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo V27 with its sleek profile and appealing design is a good option to consider for a price of around Rs 40,000 in India right now. The smartphone performs well in any given situation and handles every task that you throw its way quite effortlessly. The cameras are my favorite thing about this device, wherein the night shots appear crisp and detailed, and the daylight pictures look outstanding. However, I was let down by the speaker. So, Vivo surely needs to improve some areas, but it gets most of it just about right. All in all, if you are a Vivo fan and looking for a phone that looks stunning and offers decent overall performance, the Vivo V27 Pro is a good option to consider. Now, if not Vivo, there are a few other good overall smartphones available for around Rs 40,000 in India. One of them is the OnePlus 11R, which comes packed with the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

Vivo V27 Pro review: King of the selfies
Source: Pocket Lint English EN→zh-CN
With an MSRP of around $459 the Vivo V27 Pro is a lot of phone for the money. We found it really easy to live with, and there were many moments where we could mistake it for a top-tier flagship. The only areas that give away this phone's budget-friendly price point are the weaker auxiliary cameras, the mono speaker and the pre-installed bloatware. Although the latter is present on the pricey Vivo X90 Pro, too. This means that the Vivo V27 Pro is an easy phone to recommend, especially if you take a lot of selfies, as the front-facing camera is one of the best that you'll find on any tier of device. The bigger problem comes in the form of availability. The V27 Pro is only available in India at launch, and it doesn't sound like Vivo has plans to launch it elsewhere. So there's a big chance that you won't be able to get your hands on one. There's a non-pro V27 on the way, too, which shares many of the camera features and should get a wider release - but it has a weaker processor, so might not be the choice for keen gamers. However, if it's mainly the cameras that you're keen on, you might want to wait and see if that launches in your region.

Vivo V27 Pro First Impressions: Got the Looks
Source: NDTV Gadgets English EN→zh-CN
Unlike its predecessor, the new phone does not compromise on performance. The Vivo V27 Pro features a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, which is based on TSMC's 4nm process. The variant we have has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which is priced at Rs. 37,999, and Rs. 39,999 for 256GB of storage. Vivo has also launched a 12GB RAM variant that comes with 256GB of storage and this is priced at Rs. 42,999. The Vivo V27 Pro packs a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. The Vivo V27 Pro runs Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 out of the box. Vivo has promised to provide two major Android updates and three years of security updates for the V27 Pro. The software includes some pre-installed third-party apps, but these can be uninstalled.

82% vivo V27 Pro review
Source: GSM Arena English EN→zh-CN
The vivo V27 Pro is an excellent smartphone with an easily likable design, no matter if it's the color-changing (blue) back or not (black model). The phone employs a good and smooth OLED screen and impressed us with excellent performance and stability. The vivo V27 Pro offers great battery life and is fast to charge, which is nice. But we will remember it for its outstanding photo and video quality from the main camera (with 2x lossless zoom) and the impressive selfies. Few mid-rangers offer such high-quality photos and the vivo V27 Pro has the potential to become a fan-favorite cameraphone on a budget. No smartphone is perfect and neither is the vivo V27 pro. The most obvious omissions are the stereo speakers and video stabilization for the 4K selfie videos, which is such a waste! We would have also appreciated some sort of ingress protection, too. Even with these omissions, we still think of the vivo V27 Pro as one of the most capable mid-range smartphones out there, suitable both for gaming and photography. If the phone is available on your market, we strongly suggest considering it as your daily driver for being one of the best all-round offers in its price bracket.

Vivo V27 Pro review: 50MP selfie camera is a point and shoot delight
Source: The Indian Express English EN→zh-CN
So does the Vivo V27 Pro deserve your pocket? Frankly, there is very little to dislike about this device. The cameras are stellar, the performance is excellent, FuntouchOS is delightful, and everything works as it should. The colour-changing back also sets the phone apart from others in its price segment. Get it if these things matter to you. My only advice would be to go for the non-Pro variant instead if you’re on a tighter budget as it’s the same beast for Rs 5,000 less (Rs 32,999), with the only difference being a slightly weaker processor. I highly doubt this difference would be noticeable in day-to-day usage. But if you’re unimpressed and performance is your top priority, then the OnePlus 11R will make for an excellent alternative for just Rs 2,000 more.

80% Vivo V27 Pro review: great snapper with an image problem
Source: Stuff TV English EN→zh-CN
With a competitor-rivalling main camera, the Vivo V27 Pro has a healthy amount of photographer appeal. While we wish it would ditch the overly unrealistic beauty features, and the weedy macro lens which doesn’t add much value, it does take detailed and vibrant shots. The Funtouch UI still needs reigning in for international audiences too, but otherwise the V27 Pro will suit mobile gamers, with a crisp screen, decent battery life and performance that’s largely on the money. It’s currently only available in India, but seeing how the previous-gen handset eventually launched further afield, we’re expecting the same here. There’s no shortage of rivals in that market, though, and even a specific Indian wedding camera mode doesn’t do an awful lot to elevate it above the competition. We don’t think it’s worth the trouble of importing one, but should the firm officially launch it in the UK, it could still be a wallet-friendly alternative to the usual suspects.
