The Vivo V7 is yet another selfie-focused smartphone from Vivo which has the same pros and cons as the Vivo V7+ in a smaller, more compact form factor. It takes good selfies, but there are better options available.

At around Rs 17,000, the V7 is a very poor choice of phone. Virtually every phone that you can buy in the same price range is cheaper, significantly more powerful and offers a higher resolution display. Better options include the Mi A1, the Moto G5s Plus and the Huawei 7x. Even the Redmi Note 4 for Rs 12,999 is a more powerful option with a comparable rear camera.

Vivo has pretty much captured the selfie market, Vivo V7 with a little less price than the Vivo V7+. For selfies, it’s definitely a yes, plus the design is good, compact and lightweight. Vivo V7 is on the top in the selfie phones. You may look for other phones if selfies isn’t your main requirement.

Overall, the Vivo V7 is decent mid-range smartphone with a FullView 18:9 display in a compact body, good selfie camera and battery life. The phone has dedicated SIM and microSD card slots and the Snapdragon 450 is good enough to power its HD+ screen, but a Snapdragon 625 / 630 and a Full HD+ screen would have been better for the phone in this price range to compete with mid-range Honor phones and the Xiaomi Mi A1.

Vivo V7 is priced Rs 16,990 and for the pricing, it offers a good looking compact device with good camera abilities along with music performance. Vivo V7 would have been a better deal if Vivo could have provided a Full HD+ display at this price segment. You can buy Vivo V7 from Amazon or Flipkart.

The Vivo V7 Energetic Blue looks great, can take good selfies and is very comfortable to use and carry around. The performance and battery backup are pretty good too. We have enjoyed the experience we have had with the phone and thus have no qualms about recommending it to selfie enthusiasts who want to carry a stylish & premium looking phone.

Vivo recently upgraded its arsenal with the V7, a competent selfie expert that checks all the right boxes. The phone looks perfectly stunning with its full-view screen, is extremely light and comfortable to wield, and is now also available in an electrifying Energetic Blue color.

The V7 is very reasonably priced, and we are sure it will succeed in the targeted markets. Vivo has a good track record of delivering with its phones, and it's quite popular among the young, too. The V7 is a well-balanced smartphone delivering on every promise, so we'd recommend you consider it, as there is a strong possibility the vivo V7 might be just what you are after.

Vivo V7 has a lot to offer for the price tag of Rs 18,999. It comes with a tall display, great cameras with bokeh mode, likable design, and more importantly a battery that lasts for a day. However, the lack of dual back cameras, a Full HD display and fast charging technology might disappoint some as the features have become common in mid-range smartphones these days. For those looking for alternatives can go for Oppo F5, Honor 9i, and Moto X4 smartphones are worthy options to consider under Rs 20,000.

There were both good and bad aspects of Vivo V7. If you are looking for a smartphone that has good cameras, smooth performance and a lasting battery, Vivo V7 may be the right choice for you. But at a price of Rs 18,990, we expected a more original design and a better display too. Also, we don't like such heavy customizations in the phone's software, but that is very subjective, so we won't count it as a downside or an upside.

In our experience with the Vivo V7, we found that the front camera does a good job of taking selfies, and the design is familiar but still more manageable compared to the V7+. Battery life is also good, despite the slight reduction in capacity. On the other hand, the competition is pretty fierce, and so a plastic body and HD screen don't really cut it anymore. Vivo’s interface is also starting to feel dated , and it's time the company overhauled it and also made it lighter.

The Vivo V7 packs a 3,000mAh battery but doesn't support fast charging. We're reserving comment on battery performance till we can test it thoroughly in our full review.

The V7 is a pretty good mid-range smartphone that packs competitive specs like the 5.7-inch FullView display, Snapdragon 450 chipset, 4GB RAM, and 24MP camera. It’s in a tight spot though, considering the competition. At Php14,990, it’s aimed at customers who wanted the V7+ but are short on cash and willing to compromise. But for those who don’t, there are better offerings to consider.

With their V7+ not flying off the shelves, Vivo needed another mid-range phone to compete with the offerings of their rivals in the mid-range space this coming holidays. The V7 might be a slightly downgraded version of the bigger phone, but make no mistake, it should’ve been the phone that the company came out with first before their competitors launched their own devices.

qPresumably, Vivo was trying to get these publications to write up an exclusive “Vivo V7 leaked article” in advanced of the launch. They would get additional publicity ahead of their launch, and these lucky publications get a boost to their readership.

这是比较大的智能手机尺寸,也十分常见。
大尺寸可以让屏幕有更高的分辨率。因而例如字体等的细节将会更丰富。不过另一方面,小屏幕的功耗会较低,而设备也会更轻盈小巧,售价更低。
