Reviews for the Xiaomi Mi 10
Manufacturers like to advertise their devices with big numbers, and Xiaomi is no exception here. So by just mentioning a 108-MP sensor, the camera is guaranteed to draw some attention. In our test, it finally has to prove whether more megapixels really make a better image.

The Mi 10 is an excellent phone that brings the hardware toe to toe with the premium competition. The high-end imaging experience, good performance, and excellent battery life are as good as, if not better than, anything else in the segment. However, the software is a bit of a letdown. Despite all its polish, the prepackaged bloat and annoying notifications bring down what is otherwise an excellent device.

Xiaomi’s Mi 10 is a great phone thanks to its seriously premium design, a gorgeous 90Hz screen, and a nippy chipset. That said, its value for money fails to smash it out of the park, with similarly priced phones like the OnePlus 8 Pro and the Huawei P40 winning out from a camera point of view, and Realme and Oppo offering a more agreeable interface experience at a similar price.

Xiaomi’s first truly premium flagship gets a lot of things right. The phone feels exactly like a flagship should, and comes packing an excellent camera as well as top-tier internals. The screen looks great, is fantastically bright and vivid, and the phone has legs to keep going the entire day without any problems.

At a starting price of Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB version, the Mi 10 is a premium flagship from the company. It priced a bit high in India due to recent GST hike and the fact that the company has to import all the units since Xiaomi is incapable of manufacturing such sophisticated components in India. Xiaomi is selling Redmi flagship, the K20 Pro for almost half rate in the Indian market, and it has been years since we had seen a Mi series flagship so the price increase compared to previous Mi flagship in India feels high. It has 90Hz curved AMOLED screen, 108MP camera, offers good performance and comes with support for fast charging in addition to wireless charging, but it lacks IP ratings for water resistance and doesn’t have a telephoto camera, instead features a 2MP macro camera and the selfie camera is not on par with other flagships.

Objectively speaking, the Mi 10 ticks most boxes you would expect from a flagship device. I don’t think Xiaomi is expecting to sell the Mi 10 in the same volumes as its sub-Rs 20,000 phones. Especially not in the post-lockdown world we are living in, where consumer spending will certainly be hit. The Mi 10 certainly comes at an interesting time. But the question remains: Will Xiaomi be able to continue its disruption juggernaut in the value flagship segment? We shall find out in a few quarters.

The Mi 10 is priced at Php 34,590 for the 8GB/128GB model and Php 36,990 for the 8GB/256GB model, which is a substantial price increase from its previous flagship offerings in the Philippines. That being said, the Mi 10 feels like a thoroughbred flagship no matter how you cut it, and that price feels justified considering what you’re getting.

Xiaomi Mi 10 5G is a flagship smartphone and it comes with a starting price tag of Rs 49,999. It packs all the premium features one would expect from a high-end smartphone. The device has the most powerful processor, an impressive camera configuration, wireless charging, and the latest available operating system. It is a good option for users who are looking for something else apart from OnePlus or even Realme. The smartphone is a complete package if you are looking for a good performing device. However, if you still want alternatives to this, then you can either go for the OnePlus 8 series or the Realme X50 Pro 5G.

The Xiaomi Mi 10, for all that it offers, gives you a good bang for the buck. The price tag is slightly on the higher side if you compare against some of the 5G flagship phones launched this year, but for the premium, the Mi 10 offers an excellent display, and a reliable primary camera alongside flagship performance chops.

It took some criticism for its pricing when it was released in India, but Xiaomi’s Mi 10 does bring a fair bit to the table for all those bucks it charges. It also brings a page out of Xiaomi’s tried and tested strategy book.

After spending a couple of days with it, I can comfortably say that the Xiaomi Mi 10 is surely the exciting smartphone I have been long waiting for. In a market flooded with OnePlus and Samsung flagships, the Mi 10 is something different -- you will definitely get questions like, “what’s that phone you rocking?” It is beautifully built, has an amazing main camera, is as fast as any Android phone can be in 2020, and has lots of features to keep you engaged as well as make life easy. If you are looking for something different, the Mi 10 demands your attention. It is a stunning flagship phone that starts a new chapter for Xiaomi in India.

The Mi 10, despite its boring design and high price tag, is a decent smartphone. Its display is pretty good, the 108MP camera – if not the best – is fun to use, the long battery is another high point of the Mi 10, and 5G support is always welcome, even if networks don’t support it. Before you even consider the Mi 10 5G, you need to ask one question: who should buy a Xiaomi phone costing Rs 50,000? Well, the person who should consider getting the Mi 10 5G is someone who has a lot of cash, is a big fan of Xiaomi, wants a phone with a 108MP camera but don’t want to spend Rs 98,000 on the Galaxy S20 Ultra and, most importantly, has no affinity towards brands like Apple and OnePlus. I hope you got the answer.

The Mi 10 combines a sleek design with the latest hardware money can buy and a fantastic 108MP camera that takes stunning photos in any lighting condition. There's also a vibrant 90Hz screen, massive battery with 30W wired and wireless charging, and excellent stereo sound. The only downside is MIUI — it continues to be aggravating to use.

The Mi 10 5G starts at Rs. 49,999, which is the version we reviewed, and the 256GB version retails for Rs. 54,999. Considering all the premium features it packs in, we feel the pricing is very competitive. Now before you jump into the comments hammering at your keyboards to tell us we've completely lost it, let's look at this objectively for a moment. The competitors to the Mi 10 5G right now are the iQoo 3, Realme X50 Pro 5G and OnePlus 8 series — all of which have the Snapdragon 865 chipset.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 looks and feels like a five-star phone, and its screen is also gorgeous. What lets it down, however, is a pared-back camera combo compared to much of the competition - there’s no optical zoom lens in sight, despite there being no less than four snappers around the back.

Overall, the Mi 10 5G shows that Xiaomi can come up with a lot more than just budget phones. The price could be considered pretty good value considering what's on offer, and the headlining features seem to give it an edge over the recently launched OnePlus 8. Then again this isn't entirely a flagship device – it lacks an IP rating, the rear cameras are woefully unbalanced, and the screen might not be as crisp as what some of the competition offers. Xiaomi will have to find a sweet spot between full-fledged flagships and budget "flagship killers" such as the Redmi K20 Pro that cost much less.

Over the years, Xiaomi has managed to build a strong reputation and market standing with a budget/value approach to smartphones. In that sense, the Mi 10 Pro is kind of a new breed of a beast for the company, since it really does represent a no-compromise attempt at a 2020 flagship. Hence, the accompanying flagship price, which, admittedly, came rather unexpectedly from Xiaomi.

大尺寸可以让屏幕有更高的分辨率。因而例如字体等的细节将会更丰富。不过另一方面,小屏幕的功耗会较低,而设备也会更轻盈小巧,售价更低。
