I will straightaway come to the point. If anyone wants to buy a 5G phone under Rs 15,000, this is the best option. In fact, Poco M4 5G is the only 5G phone at Rs 10,999 (including bank offer) and that's what makes this an exciting device despite some compromises. The design is pretty cool, the display is good and even the primary camera does a fine job. If this is not enough for you, then the Poco M4 Pro 5G is available with some extra thousand bucks.

The POCO M4 5G is definitely a good phone for its asking price. The specs and features offered by the Poco are amazing to see at this price. On top of that, the design complements the whole phone very well. The performance from the MediaTek Dimensity 700 is as good as expected. I didn’t face any issues while performing my daily tasks or even playing games. Hardcore gamers might want to take a look somewhere else. The battery performance is great and the 22.5W adaptor is a plus. The crisp and bright display is a big thumbs up. The cameras also does a decent job for casual users like me. All-in-all, this phone is an excellent option for anyone searching for a phone under Rs. 15,000.

With POCO M4 Pro 5G, you get good enough performance, a mediocre display, and a decent pair of cameras with a pinch of 5G. It may not be the best phone under the Rs 15,000 segment, but it’s quite a good phone if you are looking for a big screen for media consumption, want to click pictures for your social media feed, and don’t want the hassle of charging your phone twice a day. The lack of an OLED panel or even a 120Hz LCD is disappointing. MIUI is better than before, but there are still quite a few bugs left to be ironed out. The performance is not the best in class but it’s good enough to not worry much about it. Yes, it comes with support for 5G, which isn’t out yet, but you can buy it if you think you will keep it long enough until 5G comes out. If 5G is not a necessity for you, some 4G phones, such as POCO M4 Pro, Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S, Realme 9i, or the Narzo 50, offer a little better value for money on paper. In a nutshell, the POCO M4 Pro 5G may not be the best phone out there, but it’s a decent phone for people looking for an all-in package without comprising much.

Superb performance at an affordable price is Poco’s business model. And in 2022, they have done it once again. Poco has crammed a 6.4″ display in a fairly compact size with superb looks in the M4 Pro. Launch pricing starting today till March 2 is only €179 which is a stellar deal. You get great hardware design, superb AMOLED display, stellar battery life, better than average performance, a plethora of connectivity options. You even get a headphone jack, dual speakers, NFC, IP53 splash rating, and 33W Fast Charging support. The extras in the box are not found even in $1000 flagships. And the attention to detail from the rail design to the refreshed camera module and logos makes this one of the best affordable LTE smartphones in 2022. Simply put, there is no glaring flaw in this smartphone. In a lot of geographies, 5G is not yet available and for people who want a reliable computing device but have a limited budget, the Poco M4 Pro is a no-brainer. It is early in the year, but I believe the Poco M4 Pro is probably the best budget smartphone available in 2022.

So is this phone hit material? Many things could be better with it. The camera does not impress here, let alone the display, the stability of the software also raises doubts. But there is a minijack, a memory card slot, a good battery with a fast charger in the set, an infrared transmitter and quite good stereo speakers. The wide-angle camera also works well, and from the visual side, I also liked the phone very much. Perhaps you will find something more interesting for this amount, not necessarily from Xiaomi's offer, but the Poco M4 Pro is a pretty good proposition. In short, it is not an ideal, but for $ 220, there is nothing to count on for an ideal.

For the price of ₹14,999, the Poco M4 Pro 5G offers a 90 Hz display for smoother touch operations, a fast Dimensity 810 processor that aids for better gaming, 33W fast charging, and supports 5G. Aside from these, the phone itself looks great, its 50 MP camera takes good daylight shots, it has stereo speakers for a better overall sound, has NFC, IR Blaster, and a bunch of MIUI 12.5 features. What’s not so great is its dual-camera setup which falls back in the competition where smartphones are competent in holding a quad setup. You don’t get the macro camera, 4K video recording, and no Android 12 out-of-the-box. After all these, the POCO M4 Pro is still great for its design and features, and for overall value for money.

The budget smartphone segment is as competitive as it has ever been, standing out from the crowd is a difficult proposition. With the Poco M4 Pro 5G, Xiaomi faces a stiff challenge from the Realme 8i, Nokia and indeed many of the other best cheap phones and best mid-range phones. With a distinctive design language, a good screen, great battery life and generally decent performance, it certainly does just about enough to earn a place at the table. A smartphone is an experiential item, more than the sum of a list of specifications — and crucially the experience of using the Poco M4 Pro is a pleasant one. But for better camera performance, a bit more power and less cluttered software it would be an instant recommendation. Instead, this is merely a good choice for the price point, and a phone to look out for.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G is a worthy phone for the performance it’s offering at its price. The Dimensity 810 chipset is a surprise star, and it efficiently draws from the large battery for all-day power. The quality seen on the display and offered by the cameras could be better, but it’s on par for this budget. The Poco M4 Pro 5G’s biggest problem may be that the Poco F3 is offering a lot more for just a small uptick in price.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G is an easy recommendation to make if you have a £250 budget for your next smartphone, though it’s not as impressive within its category as the Poco F3 and the Poco X3 NFC are within theirs. This is a stylish phone with adequate performance, a middling camera experience and strong battery life. The display is big and sharp, though it lacks the pop of an OLED panel, and it’s not quite as fluid as I would have liked. All in all, the Poco M4 Pro 5G is a relatively minor upgrade on the Poco M3 Pro 5G, but that still makes it one of the better phones at this price.

There's no doubt that the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G gives you an Android phone that's great value for money at the budget end of the market – but it perhaps cuts one too many corners for it to truly stand out in what is an increasingly competitive part of the market. Like the Poco M3 Pro 5G before it, the Poco M4 Pro 5G is a budget handset from Xiaomi that aims to squeeze the maximum amount of value out of not much money: £219 / AU$450 (around $300) and upwards, to be exact. For a lot of people, cost is the first and most important consideration when it comes to picking a smartphone, and when it comes to affordability the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G definitely delivers. In return for your cash you get a decent-looking smartphone with a big, bright screen. While performance isn't spectacular (and not much of an improvement over its immediate predecessor), the handset will do everything you need it to do with the minimum of fuss (and with plenty of time between battery charges as well). For some, that might be all they need to know.

Poco M4 Pro 5G Review – One Of The Better Mid-Range Phones Out There While the POCO M4 Pro 5G does have its issues, ultimately it is a pretty good mid-range smartphone. At just RM999, the M4 Pro 5G pretty much meets all the basic needs that consumers would want from a modern smartphone without worrying about burning a hole in their wallet. Not only will they get a smartphone that looks good, but it is also an easy-to-use device with a UI that is user-friendly, clean and aesthetically pleasing.

The Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro smartphone comes with impressive performance and immersive battery life, while the software interface might be the biggest downside for the phone. However, the overall experience with this phone is incredible, and you won’t find any problem if you have used the MIUI interface before. Still, the camera aspect could be better to some extend. In terms of performance, there’s no proper alternative to this phone. If you are looking for camera features, you should check out the Realme 8s 5G at a discount since you will obtain an impressive camera at a decent price. If we have to recommend Poco M4 Pro to you, we only recommend its robust performance. But, if camera quality is your primary need, several smartphones are present to deliver those traits.

Xiaomi's Poco brand has a reputation for low-cost, high-quality handsets, and the new Poco M4 Pro 5G packs a lot in considering its £249 (inc. VAT) price tag (~$335; 6GB RAM / 128GB storage). However, there are also some drawbacks. As a budget 5G phone, the Poco M4 Pro 5G performs well and supports two 5G SIMs if need be. Otherwise, you can put a MicroSD card in the second SIM slot. The good screen and decent battery life are plus points, while the drawbacks include an average camera array and an abundance of added software.

Overall, the POCO M4 Pro 5G is a much better phone than its predecessor for an additional 50 Euro. It brings a decent 90Hz screen, better performance, stereo speakers, great battery life, and a faster charging speed—which makes it a decent offering given that the phone also brings 5G at a midrange price point. Yet, you wouldn’t want to get the M4 Pro specifically for its performance and camera. If you want all of those and can skip on 5G, the POCO X3 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max make more sense instead.

If you’ve got a tight budget, but still demand a lengthy feature list, the Poco M4 Pro 5G won’t disappoint. A capable CPU, rapid battery charging and a sensible camera selection make it a step up from the M3 Pro (albeit a fairly minor one), and it hasn’t sacrificed useful additions like expandable storage in order to keep the cost in check. With no shortage of bargain competition, though, the M4 Pro isn’t as big a steal as previous Poco handsets, and spending a little extra on something like the OnePlus Nord CE 5G will get you luxuries like an OLED screen and in-display fingerprint sensor. You’ll need to accept that low-light photography won’t be on the menu, and prepare to spend some time tweaking the interface for the M4 Pro 5G to earn a place in your pocket.

Overall, the POCO M4 Pro has a lot to offer. You get a vibrant 90Hz LCD screen backed by robust internal hardware that's ideal for day-to-day use, the cameras are good for daylight use, and the battery life is excellent. 5G connectivity is a bonus, and you'll find adequate bands for coverage across regions. There are a few shortcomings; there's no 4K video recording, the phone won't get updates on time, and availability is still limited to a few global markets. But what works in the M4 Pro's favor is that it manages to outshine its immediate rivals, and that makes it a good all-around budget 5G phone as we head into 2022. The POCO M4 Pro delivers a vibrant 90Hz LCD screen, reliable internal hardware, a massive battery with 33W fast charging, and 5G connectivity. Looking to switch to 5G on a budget? This may just be the ideal choice.

How has the POCO M4 Pro changed compared to its predecessor? To begin with, it has a wide-angle camera instead of two auxiliary modules, so technically there are now two full-fledged cameras, not one. Stereo speakers and a triple slot for a pair of SIM and microSD have also appeared. Of course, the processor was updated, the screen was slightly enlarged, and fast charging is no longer 18 watts, but 33 watts. The changes, of course, are pleasant, but if you are currently using the POCO M3 Pro, there is not much point in updating. But if there is a choice between M3 Pro and M4 Pro, the latter looks like a more balanced solution. The smartphone does not offer top performance and mind-blowing cameras, but it will satisfy the needs of many users who are looking for a good-quality device with a good screen and decent battery life for daily tasks.

Superb performance at an affordable price is Poco’s business model. And it is refreshing to see a company pay attention to the little details even on their entry-level smartphone. Poco M4 Pro 5G nails all the basics right – good design, bright display, great battery life, great performance, and good rear cameras. Sure the M4 Pro 5G is a bit more pricey than the M3 but you get an ultrawide camera, IP53 certification for dust and splash resistance, NFC, and 33W fast charging. I think for people whose only computing device is a smartphone and money is tight the Poco M4 Pro 5G is an excellent choice. The M4 Pro 5G is a stellar budget smartphone from Poco, probably one of the best budget devices for 2021.

Our review shows that the POCO M4 Pro 5G is THE budget phone that will bring 5G to the mainstream in the Philippines. It improves on a number of aspects over its predecessor, especially with faster-charging speeds and a simplified (yet versatile) camera setup. The M4 Pro 5G refines all the good things the M3 Pro 5G had to offer, making it one of the best budget 5G phones you can buy with minimal compromises.

Xiaomi’s own product line-up also has a few major challengers. The Redmi Note 10 (€200) lacks 5G connectivity but brings a similarly flexible rear camera system, an OLED screen (albeit at 60Hz), and the same battery and charging specs. Then there’s the recently released Redmi 10(€180). It lacks grunt compared to the Poco M4 Pro, as well as 5G and 33W charging, but you’re still getting features like a 90Hz LCD panel, 5,000mAh battery, a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and NFC. The Poco M4 Pro is a strong budget 5G proposition that takes the fight to offerings from rival brands. Those looking for a measure of future-proofing in terms of connectivity should definitely give this a look. Don’t care for 5G? Then that’s what the Redmi Note 10 is for.

The POCO M4 Pro 5G is priced at PHP 11,990 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, and PHP 12,990 for the 6GB + 128GB model. It has some features that flagship phones have, like a display with a higher-than-average refresh rate, high-res main camera, 5G connectivity, and a battery that will last you an entire day. So, if you’re on a budget for a solid daily driver, the POCO M4 Pro 5G is worthy of consideration.

We should really talk about the price. The starting price is RM849 with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and I think that price is rather high, honestly. However, POCO Malaysia did have a promotion for this phone for the price of RM749, which was the retail price I was expecting, not the promotional price. So, here’s the one-liner for the POCO M4 Pro 5G. This is a decent phone that has decent hardware but the software is even more broken than before, and the price is also not that low. That is why I suggest that if you want to buy the POCO M4 Pro 5G, wait for a sale and get it at RM749.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G is a good all-round offer, and it does what it was supposed to - it offers smooth OS experience thanks to its 90Hz LCD screen, it can handle games if needed, it takes great photos, it can play stereo sound, and its battery life is great, and we appreciate the fast charging. There are a lot of phones in the same price bracket, but we'd say the Poco M4 Pro 5G is consistently good at everything and that's the best reason why you should pick one if your budget is about €200 or so. The strongest threats are also Xiaomi-made - phones like the cheap Poco X3 Pro and Poco F3. Those two offer flagship-worthy performance, and their prices are unbelievably low these days. The F3 can even offer 5G connectivity. Then again, the Poco M4 Pro 5G is the newest smartphone from the maker and is sold at a reasonable price. Unless you want a phone to play games all day, we'd recommend it for its thoughtfully picked feature set.

The company recently launched the Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro smartphone in November 2021; the expected price would be roughly $270 (Rs 19,999). It equips a pretty standard IPS LCD 90Hz refresh rate that also provides 450 nits brightness rating. The company also packs a 6nm – MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G under the hood that provides graphic support via the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Alongside this, you are getting a dual-camera island that will attain a 50MP primary camera with 8MP ultra-wide, while it got 1080p video recording features. Now, the selfie experience with the 16MP sensor is good, and you can capture decent photos. The Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro gaming aspect is good, while the 5G connectivity is not that bad either. You can attain a 5000 mAh battery that fuels through 33W fast charging support. For security features, you are getting a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Besides this, you can choose colors from Poco Yellow, Power Black, and Cool Blue at 4GB or 6GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB storage.

If you’re shopping on a budget and don’t have much to spend, then the Poco M4 Pro 5G could be worthy of your consideration. It has some features that flagship phones have, like a display with a higher-than-average refresh rate. It has a very impressive camera system for its price, and it has a battery that will last you throughout the entire day. Sure, there might be things that are a bit lacking like the display’s brightness and speaker quality, but are those features that you’re willing to pay a few hundred bucks more just to have? Plus with support for 5G, you’re kind of futureproofed on this front which makes this a phone that you can safely use for the next few years before you decide to upgrade again.

As a cousin of the Redmi Note 11, the POCO M4 Pro 5G is undeniably a mid-range phone, one with just the right mix of features that won’t make you go broke if you decide to buy it. Its performance isn’t stellar, and the photos it produces won’t win awards, but it promises to be a solid Android phone that will get you through a day’s work and maybe some games in medium setting. The design of the phone, however, could be a bit controversial. Dust seems to stick to its back like besties, and the camera bump feels like a shady trick to get some buyers’ hopes up and set them up for disappointment. This is, of course, the same design as the Redmi Note 11, so it isn’t like POCO’s alone in that sin. Still, it doesn’t speak well for a young brand that is trying to win the hearts and loyalty of consumers around the world.
