At a starting price of Rs. 16999, the POCO X3 is another excellent value-for-money smartphone from POCO. The 120Hz LCD screen with minimal bezels is retained from the predecessor, the cameras have been improved, offers smooth performance and the huge battery offers brilliant life with support for fast charging. Glass body would have offered a premium look and feel, but it would increase the weight of the phone and add extra cost. Some might miss an AMOLED screen, but you have to compromise this for the 120Hz refresh rate that is rarely available in phones in the price range.

If you were eyeing the Poco X2 but have the option to spend a little more, you could go ahead with the Poco X3 as it offers some good upgrades for a minor increase in price. The Poco X3 is not the perfect budget smartphone. The minor ghosting effect can irritate some, it needs some fixes with video recording and with the UI as well. But most of these issues can be ironed out with a software update. With the display, you also have to remember that you are getting a 120 Hz panel at Rs 16,999. OnePlus for example, gets you a 90Hz panel at 24,999. Do the math!

The only condition is that you will need to handle a phone as heavy as 215 grams. Well, if you have the Poco X2, stick to it.
