Unlike the 5G model, the Redmi Note 14 4G seems like a more competitive solution in its own class. Even though the phone doesn't have some standout features, it does appear to be a good all-rounder that improves upon its predecessor. Sure, the ultrawide camera is gone, but we don't count this as a huge loss. We've got longer battery life, a nice display, an aluminum frame with an updated Gorilla Glass 5 front panel and decent enough camera performance. Our biggest complaint is not supporting 4K video recording, and the chipset feels outdated for a 2025 release. Most competitors support up to 4K recording and have more powerful chips. And although the battery life is an improvement over last year's Redmi Note 13 4G, we expected more from a low-power system with a generous 5,500 mAh battery.

So, let’s get to the conclusion. If your budget is tight and you need a phone with good battery life, a decent display, and acceptable performance, the Redmi Note 14 4G at NPR 25,000 is a great option. However, if you can stretch your budget a little, the Redmi Note 14 5G at NPR 31,000 offers better value with improved display brightness, IP rating, cameras, charging speed, and 5G support. Either way, both phones are providing the usual Good Redmi Note value without any doubt.
