The Redmi Note series has pretty much dominated the budget Android smartphone segment ever since it was released. In markets like India and China that are remarkably price- and value-conscious, the combination of affordable price and robust feature set of the Redmi Note series made it the absolute favorite of the masses and pushed Xiaomi to the top of the sales charts.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a Li-Po battery with a capacity of 4000mAh and you can fast charge the phone using an 18W fast charging adapter and take advantage of Quick Charge 4 on this phone. Battery life is great and the phone can easily go through a day with medium to heavy usage. Redmi Note 7 Pro is definitely a great phone to have and at this price range, it has full potential to become the best mid-range device in the market.

Hype, as we often say, can be a bit of a two-edged sword. Yes, it can get you a lot of attention, but it can also make people oversee parts that were not talked about (or hyped, to use the term) as much. And this seems particularly true in the case of the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The phone hit the Indian market as the 48 megapixel camera beast, and while the company certainly surprised everyone by releasing the device with a Sony sensor (the Redmi Note 7 in China has a 48 megapixel Samsung sensor), all the talk and hype over the sensor and what it was capable of (amazing detail, great low light performance, et al) totally overshadowed other qualities of the phone. And after spending two weeks with it, to be brutally honest, methinks they count for more than them megapixels.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro will go down in history for being the first to offer a whopping 48MP camera for under Rs 15,000. But while the camera isn't all that good when shooting in native 48MP, the Note 7 Pro does an excellent job in taking sharp and details photos at 12MP resolution thanks to the half-inch sensor. But leave the camera aside, and there's still a lot to talk about the Redmi Note 7 Pro, with the performance setting a new benchmark and the phone itself getting a much-needed design makeover. Read the detailed review to learn more about how the Redmi Note 7 Pro fares among its peers.

There’s no denying that the phone has everything in one package, the glass design, solid performance, impressive battery life, commendable cameras and a few more things like full-screen Dot notch display, USB Type-C port, and IR Blaster. In the end, this is the smartphone you shouldn’t miss if you are carrying a budget of Rs 15,000, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is a value-for-money phone and is highly recommended.

In general, the Redmi Note 7 Pro has the most extreme and extreme cost-effectiveness in the current models of the Redmi series. So in the choice of Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro (of course, both can be bought at any time), I recommend. It is really hard to find faults in the Redmi Note 7 Pro, especially considering its price. Xiaomi has managed to offer an irresistible package of a powerful Snapdragon 675 chipset, an impressive design, and an equally impressive camera in a phone that is priced at just Rs 13,999. My recommendation, however, would be to buy the 6GB RAM variant for Rs 16,999.

Redmi Note 7 Pro is probably one of the best smartphones from Xiaomi. The phone comes with a refined design language and the performance is top-notch if you exclude the overheating part. The cameras offer good detailing, while the display looks more immersive as compared to its predecessor. On the downside, pesky ads on the user interface and bloatware spoil the user experience and the battery charging time could have been better. Overall, if you are one of those who can neglect these cons, the Redmi Note 7 Pro can be considered as your next smartphone. Or else, you have some interesting options like Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Realme U1 and even the Galaxy M30.

Despite all its flaws, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is the best deal in smartphones right now. The hardware runs circles around anything else in the market. The camera is also one of the best in the entry-mid range segment. The cherry on the top has to be the price which at 13,999 rupees (~$200) for the 4GB/64GB version is a steal.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro has a lot working in its favour. With its eye-catching design, smooth performance, impressive cameras and long battery life, it has all the makings of a solid smartphone. Add to that a highly competitive price point, and Xiaomi has another champion on its hands.

Unless you nitpick and try hard to find faults with the phone, there's really very little room to complain here. I still feel Xiaomi could have worked on how grippy the phone feels or how a dedicated Gaming mode could have been thrown into the software mix for gamers, but then again, this a budget device and it would be unfair to pull Xiaomi out for the minor misses.

Redmi Note 7 Pro is the one you should go for under Rs. 15,000. This handset will impress you in every area including the camera, which is just too good in this price segment. If you are planning to buy the Note 7 Pro, just go ahead.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro goes on sale starting March 13th through Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores. Even though the company has promised to stock more units, it will sell out quickly, which has been the case for all its smartphones in first few weeks of sales. To summarize, here are the pros and cons of the smartphone.

With Snapdragon 675, a 48MP rear camera and an elegant design, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro is one of the best contenders in its price segment and clearly outshines Realme3 Pro and Honor 10 Lite.
