显然，2014年不会是生产商用创新设计和科技来征服消费者的一年。相反，他们倒更愿意削减功能来降低成本，以获得更大的价格优势。现在，消费者被众多的低价产品所包围了。

这个趋势在联想的Yoga 2 13中也很明显。Yoga 2 Pro中采用的便于握持的舒适表面材质不复存在，被简单的塑料材质所替代。机身温度和风扇噪音同样相比Yoga 2 Pro变得更高了。尽管它采用了更弱的处理器，电池续航却变得更短。而PenTile技术的屏幕在图片显示中仍然奇怪地有些模糊。

只有Wi-Fi模组的表现、屏幕的宽广色域覆盖、巧妙的转轴设计和坚固的机身还依然让人满意。它的连接性依旧让人可以接受，老一些的游戏也可以在联想Yoga 2 13上运行。

总体来说，Yoga 2 13相对它的前作IdeaPad Yoga 13让我们感觉更加纤薄。在这方面，生产商让它和更贵的Yoga 2 Pro有了明显的区别。非常好的一点是联想修正了前作Wi-Fi模组存在的问题，不过在其他的很多方面它相比其他变形本产品并不出色。

不过这些让步并不影响日常使用，Yoga 2 13仍然由于它巧妙的转轴设计值得考虑。它13.3寸屏幕的分辨率比Yoga 2 Pro的QHD+分辨率更方便实际使用。不过它并没有配备固态硬盘，也没有舒适的柔软机身表面材质。
