Reviews for the Realme GT Master Edition
realme GT的大师版更便宜,提供不同的功能,并根据要求提供旅行箱设计。我们将在测试中发现,这是否使它在竞争中更加危险,或者是否失去了它的优势。

Overall, the realme GT Master Edition price starts at P18,990 (8GB/128GB) and it has higher storage with a price tag of P21,990(8GB/256GB). It is a great value for money and a great mobile street photography companion thanks to the Street Mode, Street Filters, and fast shooting capability. We pulled out the Photowalk and street walk, and our model did great. The shots didn’t introduce blurry images, and I can say that even on busy streets, realme GT Master Edition performs enough as things should be.

The rest - just happy. realme GT Master Edition offers an excellent display, decent photo quality and quite good - and most importantly - stable - performance. It also has NFC, a minijack, and above all - it quickly charges its battery, which, however, does not have an excessively large capacity. In addition, the smartphone is handy, and in the version signed by Naoto Fukusawa it is very original, and at the same time practical. It's a smartphone that I can't advise against buying - unless you really want a flagship processor: then you have to add a little more to realme GT - but a similar price variant is available with 128 GB memory...

Is the realme GT Master Edition a good phone? You bet. I’ve had a lot of fun using this one particularly because it fits in my hand well and looks pretty sharp. I hate hiding it behind a case because the blue is so attractive and unique. As someone who is content with pretty much any modern mid-range phone, I could see myself using this one for a long time. There’s plenty of hardware under the hood to handle my needs and I suspect that will be the case for another year or more. The camera experience is not great but it’s serviceable enough that I can use it in my day-to-day life. I’ve always kept a Pixel phone around specifically for the point and shoot experience. If I know I’ll need to grab some nice pics of family or friends, then I lean on the Google line. On a day to day basis, I’ve been more than happy with the pics for social media and sharing. I’ve used the realme GT Master Edition with my Google Fi account for the last few weeks and have had no major issues. I spend much of my day on Wi-Fi so I’m not overly concerned with network speeds.

Regardless, despite some of its obvious flaws, if you look at what the Realme GT Master Edition offers for the price, overall, it is without a doubt an incredibly promising and well-balanced offering. Still, one crucial thing you might wanna consider is that the Realme X7 Max, which is quite similar to the GT ME, actually delivers better raw performance, is usually available for INR 25,000 every now and then. So you might want to get that instead and save some cash. However, if you prefer a unique-looking design, you should definitely cash in extra for the GT ME. Plus, with Realme axing the “X” series, the X7 Max might not be in stock for very long either.

There is a general progression in prices for phone brands. Most companies start at a cheaper note to attract buyers, and then they graduate to higher prices as time passes and ultimately end up asking customers in thousands for their flagship products. OnePlus has followed this strategy brilliantly and created a niche for itself. It has also prodded the likes of Xiaomi to test the waters in the premium market. But while moving up the ladder, OnePlus and others realised that there was a large mid-price segment that needed companies to cater to its demands. And, for this segment of entry-level gamers and buyers to graduate from low-cost phones, a bit of everything was required.

The Realme GT Master Edition does retain a lot of the great features from the standard Model: a great display, big battery, solid software and fast charging speeds. The unique suitcase design and inclusion of a headphone jack also make it quite desirable for a low-priced, mid-range phone too. However, the processor downgrade and the overblown colours on the camera make this a little less competitive compared to the original GT – even with the lower starting price. What's more, there are rivals that offer more impressive performance and value, which will stand you in better stead in the long run.

realme Gt Master Edition is available in 2 variants. the 8/128 and 8/256. 8GB plus 128GB is priced at P18,990, while the 8GB plus 256GB is priced at P21,990. You can purchase it in Lazada with the whole day sale discount of P1,500 for the lower variant and P2000 for the higher variant. The realme GT master edition shows a completely different smartphone than the realme GT. Yes, it does have the same set of cameras on the back, and the basic design of the device but a totally different chipset. It has reasonable and decent performance for a higher mid-range smartphone, but it lacks power on its battery. Although It performed pretty well on its charging prowess that would stop us from charging the device overnight since it has a short charging time. So if you are intrigue go grab your own realme GT Master Edition.

The shortcomings of the realme GT Master Edition are very minimal at most, and our review shows that this upper mid-range offering is the brand’s blockbuster hit in the Philippines for 2021. While it may not be a flagship, the GT Master Edition is one of the best value-for-money offerings realme has offered in recent memory. The combination of a powerful Snapdragon 778G processor, capable 64-megapixel main camera, and a unique back panel design, along with flagship features like a 120hz display and 65w charging makes the GT Master Edition a win for realme especially for its under Php 19k starting price.

The realme GT Master Edition is available for either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The 128GB variant is a Lazada exclusive deal for PHP 18,990, while the 256GB will be available via Lazada and realme retail stores and dealers for PHP 21,990. To be honest, there’s nothing really beyond it to be called “master” but this is definitely another undissappointing mid-ranger from realme. There’s quite a competition in its range today but the realme GT Master has an advantage as it certainly offers good value for money, given that you get a new Snapdragon 778G processor, 5G connectivity, a vibrant Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 65W fast charging support. Its camera performance is pretty decent too for your social media uploads. So yeah, we don’t have much complaints about it, and its highly recommendable if it’s within your budget.

Realme GT Master is among the best smartphones in the mid-range category albeit with a tonne of competition to tackle. Well-designed, the phone offers a fresh look. It may not surpass the Dimensity 1200 or even the Snapdragon 870 chipsets performance, the Snapdragon 778G is still a competent chipset with a lot of beef. Except for camera performance, everything else more or less is either an upgrade or decent in performance.

All-in-all, the Realme GT Master Edition is a watered down alternative to the GT, both in specs and price, which works in its favour and makes this one of the best value phones you can buy today. Sure, some of the budget phone tropes make a return in this cost-cutting exercise: no wireless charging, no waterproofing and a design that can feel a little cheap to the touch. If you can look past these issues, you’re in for a treat. The high quality screen, fast charging, decent performance and a decent main camera make for a great mid-range phone at an even better price.

To conclude our unboxing of the realme GT Master Edition, the brand has a very promising upper mid-range offering in the Philippines–as long as it has the right price. The OmniVision main camera does snap good photos, and the Snapdragon 778G processor does hold true to its promise of being a lightweight Snapdragon 888. We also love how realme went for an unconventional design approach for the Voyager Grey color, making the GT Master Edition a fresh sight for those who are too bored of all the glass-backed phones in the market right now.

Realme GT Master Edition is not just a modern smartphone with good performance, but also a great option with good build quality. On the positive side, I can highlight the presence of interesting artificial leather on the back of the device. In addition, I liked the quality of the screen with its nice features. For example, it’s a 120Hz refresh rate and a Super AMOLED screen. In terms of performance, it’s not all that bad either, as the new 6nm Snapdragon 778G processor was used on board the smartphone. The device also stands out for its good camera performance and I also liked the charging time. Of the shortcomings, the smartphone does not have an additional slot for a memory card. Also, I didn’t really like the chrome side of the device, which was made of plastic.

The Realme GT Master Edition is probably the most unique-looking Android flagship right now, with the vegan leather inclusion in the design. The build quality is tough and the phone feels light in the hands. It is fast enough and manages operations speedily and smoothly. The camera on this device is quite good, both day and night, and gives clear, detailed and natural shots. Night photography used to be the Achilles heel of Realme devices but with the GT Master Edition, it has highly improved. The battery life is also long, lasting for around two days on average. Gaming-wise, our experience with the phone was a bit mixed, maybe due to the Snapdragon 778G, which will allow you to game well at medium settings with titles like Call of Duty: Mobile but not so smoothly at high settings. Overall, if gaming is not very high on your priority and you want a flagship that looks a bit different than the rest, the Realme GT Master Edition is worthy enough in all the other segments to warrant a buy.

Realme GT Master Edition comes across as a complete package. But it is not your flagship, and there are some compromises you will have to make. The processor is not as fast as what you get on the pricier GT, but still fast enough for most people. The display is bright and colourful enough to binge-watch the upcoming season of Lucifer, but again, HDR would have been better. If you look at the market right now, Realme’s own X7 Max 5G can undercut the GT Master Edition. Now selling for much less, the X7 Max 5G definitely brings a good mix of specifications and better value for your money. Then, of course, you have the Poco F3 GT and the OnePlus Nord 2, which can offer better performance, however, for a little extra premium. Considering everything, I can say the GT Master Edition is a decent phone to have, and you will like it, as long as you are investing in the Rs 25,999 variant. The vegan leather suitcase design is also a plus point for this price.

The Realme GT Master Edition is a watered-down version of the original GT smartphone, yet it still manages to offer most of the required features at a reasonable price. It features a premium leather finish and comes with 65W fast charging, a powerful enough processor, an AMOLED display and a good enough set of cameras. The only issue is you don’t get dual speakers. The Realme GT Master Edition can be on your buying list if you are looking for these features and don’t wish to spend more than Rs 30,000.

The Realme GT Master Edition certainly offers good value for money, given that you get a new Snapdragon 778G processor, a high-quality Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 65W charging, and good battery life. Its camera setup may not be as interesting as the Moto Edge 20's cameras, but they perform well in daylight. The phone also feels quite gaming-ready, even though it's not purpose-built for gaming like the Poco F3 GT (Review) is. While the OnePlus Nord 2 (Review) offers similar performance, Realme seems to have a clear edge in terms of pricing, with the GT Master Edition starting from Rs. 25,999 for the base 6GB RAM variant. So, if you are on a tight budget, and don't mind the unique vegan leather and suitcase-like design, then Realme's GT Master Edition gets the job done for a little less.

Did I enjoy testing the RealMe GT Master Edition? I did; it was fantastic to use and abuse for the month I had it. It didn’t miss a beat, I had no issues, and the camera is great – better than 99.9% of its peers. The battery life is solid, I actually really like RealMe’s software, and the phone runs on Android 11, so get all the benefits of Google’s currently latest operating system. Add in solid battery life, a nice sleek design, plenty of storage, and a killer screen and you’re looking at one of the best value phones on the market right now. I still prefer the OnePlus 9 Pro, but the RealMe GT Master Edition comes highly recommended if you’re after a reliable, solid mid-range phone that punches well outside its weight class.

As we all know, Realme offers better specs regardless of price. So far, you’ll have the mid-range smartphone because there’s a great screen, a higher refresh rate, a decent chipset, even the 654W fast charging capability increases your phone’s performance. This phone is best suited for aggressive gamers and users. The Realme GT Master is also suitable for those looking for cost-effective deals. Global availability is still limited to China, but it can be expected later. You can also think about your alternatives. What Realme offered this time around is really an explosion in the smartphone world. On a similar budget, you can find the Xiaomi Poco F3 GT as an alternative option.

The GT Master does a lot of things right, and it's the important things. It boasts battery life that's hard to rival, coupled with charging speed that's, well... unrivaled. Its display isn't the absolute brightest around, but it is plenty bright and has the 120Hz refresh rate and the AMOLED blacks going for it. The chipset is powerful and stays so over extended periods, and the UI is very customizable without being too heavy. And if you're not one to record videos, the camera system will keep you happy. Some of the GT Master's imperfections can be seen in the spec sheet, and while a Gorilla Glass of some sort is nice to have and two speakers are more than one, we don't see these as dealbreakers. And if you opt for the Suitcase design of the Voyager Gray version, you'll also escape our other niggle about the phone's plain and unremarkable build. That leaves the video quality to contend with. All things considered, the Realme GT Master is looking like a very sensible buy in our book.

realme GT Master Edition looks premium, offers a great design, a slim and lightweight form factor, and one of the amazing bright displays you will ever find in this segment, 120 Hz Super AMOLED. Its suitcase design variant with vegan leather can be a standout among the crowd. In addition, a fast Snapdragon 778 CPU for performance needs and the 65W SuperDart fast charging will leave you surprised. The realme GT Master Edition is recommended if you are looking for a phone under Rs 30,000 budget.

With a starting price of around $350, the Realme GT Master Edition tries to strike a delicate balance between cost and value. It does so sufficiently with the added plus of a memorable design. The problem, however, is that it is fighting in a rather congested mid-range smartphone market, and there are options available, depending on the market, that could give consumers pause for thought when considering where to invest their hard-earned money.

The Realme GT Master Edition seems like a solid contender for the mid-range. Apart from the unique design of the Voyager Grey variant, it also packs in hardware that should make it quite competitive. These factors should help it stand out from the crowd. We will have to put it through its paces to find out how much of an improvement the new SoC is over the competition. So, stay tuned to Gadgets360 for our full review, which should be out soon.

Realme is definitely breaking the mold with its GT series, at least in terms of design. The feature disparity between the three phones from the lineup also makes some sense and pricing can be justified too. It's kind of odd to see the Explorer Master edition being the most expensive one having a slower Snapdragon 870 chipset than the 888 on the Realme GT 5G, but the bigger and better screen along with the more competent camera setup are some good reasons to hike the price even just a little. What's more, the trio of Realme GT handsets remains competitive price and feature-wise. Can't wait to test the GT Explorer Master and GT Master fair in our usual review routine.
