Everything in the realme GT Neo 3 seems to be subordinated to speed. It looks like a supercar itself, and other things are forgotten or fade into the background. The emphasis here is on top-notch performance, high display refresh rates, extremely fast charging, and an optimised environment, but everything else is left behind. For example, the system logic and sometimes its complexity, cameras that don’t quite match the price, or the lack of certain things like increased endurance or wireless charging. All of these are things that speed takes precedence over here. Although there’s really nothing to criticise here. Wireless charging is not a priority for most users. And in realme GT Neo 3, it is also covered by ultra-fast 150W wired charging. Indeed, 15 minutes and your smartphone is ready to help you conquer the world again.

The Realme GT Neo 3 achieved a DXOMARK Audio score of 118, with a performance that was overall underwhelming in both playback and recording. Recording performance, in particular, was marred with a multitude of artifacts that were caused by excessive processing. While playback sound was almost free of artifacts and midrange was rendered decently, there was a pronounced lack of high-end and low-end extension, resulting in a nasal sound and overall poor playback performance. When using the device to record sound, loudness was good, and a good wideness was rendered, even when holding the phone in portrait orientation while recording. Strong processing achieved an excellent signal-to-noise ratio but also resulted in a number of artifacts, including compression, gating, phasing, and volume jumps. Overall, the device would benefit from a fine-tuning of the processing algorithms. Timbre was also poor and lacked consistency. The tonal balance either sounded muffled or nasal or both. Overall, it’s difficult to recommend the Realme GT Neo 3 to any audio-centric smartphone user.

Sure. The Realme GT Neo 3 remains a solid phone through and through as it checks a lot of boxes. The handset gets the basics right, with a good display, reliable performance, and a capable primary camera. The cherry on top has to be its insanely fast charging speed. Even after spending days with the phone, I’m still surprised by how quickly the battery percentage goes up. And the sheer convenience of topping up the battery to 50% in a matter of minutes cannot be discounted. While the 150W charging is a nice perk, you’d be better off with the 80W charging option and the bigger 5000mAh battery for less money. The phone will also run a few degrees cooler while charging at a lower wattage. Some things don’t work in the GT Neo 3’s favor. For example, Realme could’ve offered a more versatile camera system than what we have here, though that perk is still often reserved for pricier phones. But the bloatware situation on this phone is inexcusable, and Realme should spend a little more time fixing the bugs lingering even months after the phone’s release.

So why should you care about the Realme GT Neo 3 150W phone and choose it over others in this crowded mid-tier high-end segment? Well, there is one big reason and that is of course the stupendously quick charging speed. if you are the type of person who needs their phone charged in less time than it takes to have a shower then this phone will suit you very well as long as that is one of the main features you are drawn to. The reason for that previous statement is that if you don’t need the phone to charge in an Ultrafast time then there are other options from both Realme and its sister brands in the form of the OnePlus 10R (not available in the UK) and the Realme GT2 5G or GT 2 Pro 5g both of which incidentally are currently cheaper. Looking to outwith the BBK brand family you also have the likes of the upcoming Pixel 6A to consider and the A series line up from Samsung which has always served the market well in this section. The Realme GT Neo 3 150W is a great fone and is one that I have been very happy to use for the time I have had it.

The realme GT Neo 3 is an excellent device that’s easy to hold and consistently performs in a snappy manner with most tasks. While the racing stripes are a dealbreaker for me, I realise that most people don’t have such strong opinions about it and won’t care one way or another once they experience the smoothness of the anti-glare glass. The camera is a reliable companion in most conditions but its utility is practically bricked in certain cases thanks to realme’s insistence on automating night mode. At the very least, it’s a device that can last throughout the day no matter what you throw at it, so you won’t have to worry about reaching for the charger most of the time. The pricing for the phone, however, is just ridiculous when considering that some of its competitors are much cheaper with similar specs and that it is creeping into flagship territory. If you were able to get the phone for its promotional price of RM1799, then that would make it easier to swallow but for its retail price of RM2,099, I would rather just pay the price difference for the POCO F4 GT.

Anyway, let’s conclude this review since I think I have covered almost everything about the Realme GT Neo 3 by now. And my verdict about this phone is pretty simple. It’s an excellent all-rounder smartphone for 2022, especially considering all the upgrades it brings over its predecessor, the GT Neo 2. It is a bit overpriced here in Nepal and maybe the company should’ve brought the 80W version instead. Anyway, I am quite happy that Realme is gradually improving its performance with each software update. And I am hopeful that they continue to do that, mainly in terms of camera exposure optimizations, enabling video stabilization in 4K recordings, and collaborating with game developers to bring 120 fps mode in higher refresh rate supported titles.

I would agree with Realme that the GT Neo 3 (150W) is all about speed. There's the race car inspired design, 150W charging system, crisp 120Hz display and a processor that offers good performance. Its cameras have also received plenty of improvement over the GT Neo 2. Unfortunately for the GT Neo 3, having more features does not translate to a very competitive smartphone. Despite its upgrades over its predecessor, the GT Neo 3 is only playing catch-up with the competition, unless you are comparing it with the OnePlus 10R Endurance Edition (Review), which is basically the same phone with a different design and name. The Realme GT Neo 3's 150W fast charging system does make the phone worryingly hot and the display's 120Hz refresh rate isn't usable in most games that I tried. The SoC also falls a bit short in terms of raw performance compared to the competition, most of which pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.

The Realme GT Neo 3 is a powerful mid-range phone with a mix of high-end and lower-end parts that help keep the price sensible. Its MediaTek processor is flagship-grade powerful and very impressive in terms of heat generation and the consistency of its performance. The primary camera uses a great sensor with OIS. And the 150W charging is as high-spec as you can get, even if it only actually uses that much power for a fistful of seconds. Lower-end parts include the secondary cameras, the plastic rim on the phone’s sides and the Full HD resolution display. The Realme GT 2 from earlier in 2022 was arguably a better deal, has a larger battery and a processor game developers are more likely to optimise for. I preferred its design too. If you find that model selling for less, perhaps snap that one up instead.

The Realme GT Neo 3 smartphone is a great phone that arrives with lots of exciting specs and features. But one of the key reasons why this phone stands out would be its colossal size and charging speed, apart from this, the processing power reaches up to 4x 2.85 GHz, which is quite superb for a mid-range phone. Although, the camera quality is something that let down the entire feel. But if you have experienced the Realme UI, the interface will be on a whole new level with lots of customization traits. Last but not least, the battery life does work great in most every condition whether you are playing games or scrolling social media feeds. In short, it’s worth your money. But if you are looking for a better alternative, you can check out the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G. It has a decent overall experience.

The Realme GT Neo 3 has a lot to offer - especially since it's around half the price of some flagships. You get snappy performance, a lovely display, a great main camera and solid battery life - not to mention the fastest charging tech around. On the other hand, there are a lot of omissions here. There's no IPX rating, no wireless charging, some bloatware and pretty terrible auxiliary cameras. The styling won't be for everyone, either. Whether it's right for you all depends on your priorities, but it's definitely a decent value proposition. And, after experiencing the convenience of 150W charging, we don't want to go back.

The Realme GT Neo 3 might not be quite the upper-mid-range stunner or the outright head-turner that the Pixel 6 is, but rapid charging, a strong main camera, and punchy performance make it a fine alternative.

While the GT Neo 3’s marketing may be all about speed, this is an unexpectedly well-rounded offering. Sure, it’s fast – with 150W charging and a flagship chipset that should come as no surprise. But with a decent display, snazzy design, and capable main camera it has more to offer than that. It’s not perfect of course. While the phone looks nice it does feel a little cheap, and the main camera is let down by disappointing additional lenses. Bits of bloatware frustrate a little too, and at this price there should really be at least one more Android version update down the line. But none of these flaws should be deal-breakers, and if you like the racing stripe look and want to get a full charge in the time it takes you to shower every morning, the GT Neo 3 is an excellent option.

The Realme GT Neo 3 is a largely accomplished flagship for a cut of the price, complete with some eye-catching headlines that I've found impressive, including a bright and fast-refresh display, plus 150W fast-charging that's unbeaten in today's market. However, I find its software sometimes clunky – including various notification perils – simply holds it back from truly rivalling the very best in its category. I'm certainly impressed by that insane charging speed though, which for some will be worth the ticket price alone.

There’s very little wrong with the Realme GT 3 Neo. It’s a nippy phone that looks fun or sophisticated depending on which colour you go for, has a great screen and good primary camera, loads of storage, decent battery life and the fastest charging we’ve ever tested. The GT 3 Neo doesn’t feel as premium as some other phones in its price range, and its cameras can be had for much less in the Realme 9 Pro+. In fact, the ultra-wide, macro and selfie camera performance are the areas we felt the Neo 3 is weakest. If Realme opted for slower charging and better secondary cameras, the Neo 3 would have probably been a five-star phone. That said, it’s a mighty proof of concept that puts a price on world-first tech while still delivering a great experience.

A quick look at the specs sheet and the GT Neo3's pricing suggests that it's a device easy to recommend, no matter the version you choose. It has a potent, modern chipset on board, great display, unmatched charging, dependable battery life and good main camera performance. If only it had a better auxiliary camera setup, it would have been our go-to phone in the price bracket. And while most competitors offer comparable user experience, some excel in the camera department, while others ask a couple of bucks less. So it's hard to say whether the GT Neo3 is objectively better than the competition. The price hike from last year's Neo2 puts it in a tough spot, too. One thing is for sure, if the things it excels at strike your fancy, you would most likely like the rest of the handset as well.

The GT Neo 3 brings 150W charging to the mid-range segment, with the device able to fully charge its 4500mAh battery in under 20 minutes. It also has powerful internal hardware that's ideal for gaming, and a smooth 120Hz AMOLED screen. However, you'll find a lot of bloatware out of the box, the auxiliary cameras aren't worth the bother, and the phone won't get as many software updates as its immediate rivals.

Priced roughly $550 USD, this is a hell of a lot of phone for the money. It’s got a great color and design and feels great in the hand. The display is plenty big and bright, and graphics and animations look buttery. I’m really digging the phone so far and think it’s something I’ll be recommending to others. One of the problems we occasionally run into with 5G handsets is that they don’t have the support for US bands. This global model has performed admirably for me with T-Mobile in my home town and general travels and I get 5G connection where I expect. Performance, as a whole, doesn’t even feel like a thing because I’ve yet to see any stutters, force closing, or hang-ups. The battery is life has been incredible and charging speeds is as advertised. I like the customization features that the handset allows for, such as opening from the smart sidebar, switching to split screen, quick launching select apps from the lock screen, and edge lighting for notifications. You can learn more about the realme GT Neo 3 at the phone maker’s website (varies by region) with the ability to purchase in select markets.

The Realme GT Neo 3 prioritises speed in every aspect of its design. It includes the quickest fast-charging technology and a fresh Mediatek chipset, both of which assure that it will perform efficiently and smoothly throughout the day. The Realme GT Neo 3 is a great option if you’re seeking a performance-oriented phone under Rs. 40,000. It has a solid stance and is well-built. It boasts a stunning display, long battery life, great UI and lightning-fast charging. Camera quality in daylight and lowlight scenarios with good ambient light was impressive, but I wouldn’t consider this a flagship-level camera system. Not to forget, it lacks an IP rating and a 3.5mm audio jack. On the other hand, you get features rich Realme UI 3.0, RAM expansion technology, and stereo speakers, all of which contribute to a great user experience. The Realme GT Neo 3 delivers a powerful performance and is an excellent option considering its price.

The Realme GT Neo 3 5G is a good performance-centric smartphone, but not an all-rounder. It is a smartphone with something in store for everyone. In summary, the Realme GT NEO 3 is a good value successor to the Realme GT NEO 2 and does many things right for the price. You get excellent 150W fast charging, great performance and display quality, a good main camera, and much more, making it an attractive proposition. The device is priced at Rs. 36,999 for the 8+128GB variant and Rs. 38,999 for the 9+256GB variant. For this price, it faces tough competition from the OnePlus 10R, but the 10R costs 2K more than the NEO 3 and arguably has a worse design. If there’s one device that beats out the NEO 3, it’s the brand’s own Realme GT 2. With the Realme GT 2, you get the tried-and-true Snapdragon 888 chipset and an extra year of Android updates compared to the NEO 3. However, you’ll have to do without the super-fast 150W charging on the GT 2. If you value Android updates more, you should go for the Realme GT 2, but if you are always in a hurry and want super-fast charging and better heat performance, you should buy the Realme GT NEO 3, because it will not disappoint you.

For a starting price of ₹36,999 for the 80W 8GB/128GB version and ₹42,999 for the 150W 12GB/256GB version, the Realme GT Neo 3 qualifies to be considered within the affordable flagship segment, and it managed to get a good podium finish. Despite that, a few of the compromises in tow keep the device from getting the top position. Realme themselves sell devices that make better sense than this: the Realme GT 2 starts at ₹34,999 and has a much better feel in the hand. In India, you can also get devices like the OnePlus 9 at around ₹37,999, though one can argue whether that’s a better choice over this considering the software update situation there. Then there’s the iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 SE, both of which come out as much better products depending on how wide your budget is. All in all, the Realme GT Neo 3 is a good choice for its 80W version, but the sell becomes harder for the more expensive yet not-necessarily-better 150W version. If you’ve decided you want this phone, I would recommend buying the 80W version and saving yourself some money against experiences you may not be able to notice all the time.

The realme GT Neo 3 offers a massive 150W UltraDart fast charging, and a fast flagship-grade performance which attracts many gamers out there. The 150W variant of the Realme GT Neo 3 retails for Rs 42,500 and for the price, the device faces stiff competition from the OnePlus 10R, the iQOO 9 SE (review), and the Realme GT 2. Now, no two ways about it – the GT Neo 3 is backed by excellent hardware, and be it the unit’s processor, its main camera, or the handset’s charging tech, the smartphone’s brochure will have spec-heads salivating all over it. Be that as it may, Realme (or MediaTek) needs to optimise games for the Dimensity 8100 SoC — after all, what good is a flagship killer if it cannot run popular Android games at competent settings, amirite? Making matters worse, the device is only entitled to two more OS updates, which, for the uninitiated, pales in comparison to Samsung’s software roadmap for its Android handsets. All said and done, the Realme GT Neo 3 has all the makings of a great Android handset. And, with software updates and patches, there’s a good chance the smartphone will reach its true potential.

The Realme GT Neo 3 150W looks striking with its racing inspired design and its 150W charging solution offers a convenience that only a few phones at this price can match. Coupled with the power efficient and capable Dimensity 8100 chip, a nice 120Hz AMOLED display, and a decent main camera, the GT Neo 3 150W seems tempting. However, look at the competition and the GT Neo 3 isn’t the best value for money package. The iQOO 9 5G for almost the same price offers the more superior Snapdragon 888+ chip, a much better camera system, and an equally fast 120W charging solution. In fact, the 150W charging solution is no faster than the 120W charging solution from iQOO and Xiaomi in the real world. Realme’s own GT 2 with the Snapdragon 888 and the same set of cameras is also there for a much lower Rs. 34,999. Moreover, when you are spending Rs. 43,000 on a Dimensity 8100 phone, knowing that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phones are only a stone's throw away makes it hard to satisfy the VFM-obsessed mind.

The Realme GT Neo 3’s spectacular charging experience catapulted the device to a top subscore in charging, overshadowing an overall battery performance that was still quite good. Equipped with a 150W charger, the most powerful charger that we have tested to date, the device was able to fill up its 4500 mAh capacity battery in less than 20 minutes (19 min 49 seconds to be exact). The tradeoff in the Realme GT Neo 3’s top charging score, however, came in autonomy, which was average at best, when compared with our entire database, and far behind its predecessor, the Realme GT Neo 2. One reason for this was that the GT Neo 3’s 4500 mAh-capacity battery is smaller than the GT Neo 2’s 5000mAh battery. Efficiency, in terms of its discharge current, was also not as well-managed as its predecessor.

In terms of appearance design and performance configuration, the advantages of Realme GT Neo 3 are actually very obvious, especially this mobile phone is the world’s first 5G mobile phone that supports 150W light-speed second charging. At present, the 80W version of the Realme GT Neo3 mobile phone only costs 1999 yuan. The 150W light-speed second-charge version is priced from only 2,599 yuan for a limited time, which is very cost-effective. 150W light-speed second charge breaks through the speed limit Realme GT Neo3 mobile phone evaluation. At the same time, the Dimensity 8100 processor on the mobile phone, combined with the independent graphics chip, as well as the diamond ice core cooling system Max and other technologies, allow Realme GT Neo3 to have a game performance comparable to the flagship level, greatly improving the fluency of the game, and Nowadays, more and more mobile games support high frame rate mode. For e-sports players who pursue the smoothness of mobile phones and enjoy the game fun, Realme GT Neo3 is definitely the most valuable choice at present.
