The Realme Narzo 50A is an excellent choice for nonstop gaming due to its large 6000mAh battery. It costs P7,990 for 4GB/64GB, but the storage capacity is insufficient for those who want to install more than six heavy games. The Realme Narzo lineup hasn’t seen much improvement over the course of the year, but when compared to its predecessor, it has improved in terms of design and primary rear camera. It now has a 50MP primary camera, a macro lens, and increased brightness. The Helio G85 gaming processor and a massive 6000mAh battery are still present. This means upgrading to the Narzo 50A will result in sharper images. If you’re on a tight budget but still want to play competitive games, the Realme Narzo 50A is one of the best options.

Overall, the price of the realme Narzo 50A is 7,990 for 4GB and 64GB. Albeit the storage is kinda inadequate for some who want to install more than 6 heavy games. However, if you are a budget gamer looking for a phone that can play MOBA and FPS games smoothly, the realme Narzo 50A takes a different approach than other entry-level smartphones in its price range. The 6000mAh battery provides significantly more playtime than the average smartphone, and the camera is an added bonus. It can be used for hiking and other outdoor activities and will still provide enough juice after about a day or so. realme Narzo 50A has the longest battery life when compared to other phones in its price range, consider it one of your options.

After several days of active testing of the Realme Narzo 50A smartphone, I have positive, but also negative impressions. I understand that this is not a flagship device, so there is no need to expect great features. First of all, I can highlight a good design in appearance, and especially the corrugated plastic used. During my testing, there were no finger marks or any other annoyances on its surface. I also liked the good performance for everyday use. Yes, the device is capable of running even complex games like Genshin Impact, but it’s better to play simpler games like PUBG Mobile. As for the camera, the main 50 megapixel module showed itself from a good side. I also liked the battery life. That is, the device can easily work for two days with active use. Of the minuses, I can single out this lack of an ultra wide camera module. I also didn’t like the time it takes to fully charge the battery, and the 720p screen resolution may cause some discomfort for some people. Although during my test, even the HD resolution was not very different from the Full HD resolution.

While it is let down by a very dated display, our review of the realme narzo 50A shows that the brand is sticking to what works when it comes to the highly competitive budget gaming segment in the Philippines. The 50-megapixel main rear camera upgrade is very much welcome, though we hope realme optimizes the software to make the most out of it.

Alright, so let’s talk about the price. The realme narzo 50A is available for PHP 7,990. With a few extra bucks, comparing it to its cheaper, turned down sibling, the 30A, we think that the narzo 50A is a better deal considering that you’ll get a larger 6,000mAh battery, a much decent processor, and a much more versatile camera. Thus, making this device recommendable to those consumers whose eyeing a smartphone under PHP 10k. And by the way, if you are planning on getting this device, it will be exclusively available on Lazada on their 11.11 event and will have a PHP 1,000 discount with free shipping when purchased on that date.

Despite its issues, the Realme Narzo 50A could still be a good smartphone if all you need is top-tier battery life, and you only run basic apps. However, it's hard to ignore the competition, most of which deliver better performance and hardware at similar prices. The Infinix Hot 11S offers a full-HD+ 90Hz refresh rate display, smooth software, and dual speakers at Rs. 10,999. There's also the Redmi 10 Prime (Review), which offers a better video streaming experience with support for Widevine L1, stereo speakers, four rear cameras, and a 6,000mAh battery, and costs Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.

Now, the question is whether the Realme Narzo 50A is worth buying or not. From a general point of view, the camera quality and battery keep the standards, while the processing section looks a little underwhelming. But this factor can be overlooked considering that the phone is a budget phone. Overall the Narzo 50A is a decent choice of general uses. In short, if you are looking for an entry-level phone that offers a great worth of money, you can go with the Realme Narzo 50A. But if you are looking for an alternative option, you can consider the TCL 20R smartphone while the final decision is up to you.

Realme is back with another budget device, this time under the Narzo 50 Series moniker. The Narzo 50A smartphone is the successor to the Narzo 30A, which was launched in February of this year. Realme Narzo 50A is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and features a 50MP triple camera arrangement, a big 6000 mAh battery, and an HD+ display. It starts at Rs 11,499 for 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. I’ve been experimenting with the Realme Narzo 50A for a while now.

The Realme Narzo 50A is a good phone for its price. And it ticks most of the right boxes. Big display? Check. Good processor? Check. Long-lasting battery? Check. All of that is reasonable enough to make the Narzo 50A a compelling option on the market. And for Rs 11,499, I think it is the right investment.

The realme Narzo 50A offers a large battery, a good camera on-board, and decent performance. For Narzo 30A owners, you will mainly get a better camera upgrade while most things remain the same, but the good thing is it now comes in a 128 GB storage variant and the base one starts with 64 GB storage. The RAM is no longer 3 GB, but 4 GB and lastly, the realme UI 2.0 with Android 11 out-of-the-box.

The Realme Narzo 50a relies on its camera as a driving point in the face of intense competition from the likes of Xiaomi and Infinix. You do get pretty decent shots from the device but the other aspects of the Narzo 50a are not exceptional in any way. As a matter of fact, the lack of a higher refresh rate panel and absence of WideVine L1 certification can be deal-breakers for some. That said, it deserves a recommendation for its rather good camera performance in daylight scenarios, satisfactory performance, and long battery life…. and that, for many, should suffice anyway,
