The X50 Pro shines with a great case design and good specifications. However, the Realme flagship smartphone lacks a few premium features compared to its high-end competition. In this review, we will take a look at the drawbacks that buyers of the X50 Pro will have to contend with.

With X50 Pro being the brand’s second official flagship phone in the Philippines (the first one being the X3 SuperZoom), it is the more proper flagship killer with its 5G capabilities and newer internals. While it is not the best when it comes to battery life, its insanely fast 65w charging solution disregards this issue.

The realme X50 Pro 5G is the fastest realme smartphone in the Philippines right now and the performance is an excellent deal for the budget. However, there are still downsides to this flagship killer phone. It doesn’t have an IP68 water-resistant, no wireless charging, and no periscope lens that you can see on the latest flagships though this cuts the budget to make one flagship phone. The camera quality feels neutral and the features feel less. We are hoping that it can be improved through software updates. Upside? well, it has reliable hardware for day to day use and it feels premium thanks to the great haptic feedback, vapor cooling system, dual speakers, 90Hz, impressive 65W charging, and a flagship SoC with 5G connectivity. It still gives the flagship level feel while offering a balance and overall performance and quality.

The Realme X50 Pro 5G is truly an amazing smartphone especially the speed of its connection and the processor. However there are some details we want to improve especially in the camera quality. Realme UI 2.0 is a great skin and offers fluidity and personalization that is pretty impressive and hopefully, realme will push an update for optimization in the camera performance. Overall Realme X50 Pro 5G is fast and powerful enough and very affordable flagship phone.

Just like its standard version, the realme X50 Pro 5G is also a well-rounded device and a solid one, for that matter. We get a 90Hz Super AMOLED display, a flagship processor, a large 12GB RAM, and a great set of cameras, which, we must say, a lot of people would appreciate. And it’s also 5G-ready!

And that's it for our review of the realme X50 Pro 5G. For 12GB RAM and 256GB at RM2999, this is a phone that's more suitable for those who want a high-end flagship like gamers. After all, what other use is a flagship chipset if not for gaming, right?

The realme's first 5G smartphone, realme X50 Pro 5G has arrived in Malaysia. It features a Snapdragon 865 5G chipset coupled up with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Besides, it also packs with quite a few flagship tech specs for our Malaysia market including a 65W super fast charge technology for the price of RM2999.

All in all, it’s very hard to raise any legitimate criticisms of the Realme X50 5G. There are some improvements that would definitely be nice – if it were a bit lighter, or had a telephoto lens, expandable storage and a 3.5mm headphone jack, say – but these quibbles feel a bit hollow when you look at the price. Paying £300 for a 5G-enabled phone is a bargain, and it would be churlish to moan about what might have been if it were more expensive. If you don’t feel like you need 5G for the foreseeable future – a perfectly legitimate position given the limited coverage – then you might be better off looking to one of last year’s flagship phones as they’ve dropped in price. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with the Realme X50 5G for £300.

Realme undercuts the OnePlus Nord in terms of price - and does a fine job of delivering a compelling phone. It's true that the camera could be better, and that there are little compromises in terms of design and display tech, but it's unlikely you'll find an all-round better phone than the X50 5G at this price.

Ultimately, if we can expect mid-range 5G smartphones to come at this sort of cost with these sorts of specs, then the consumer is the winner. Companies aren’t just slapping a 5G antenna onto a cheap phone, they’re making devices for people who want to be at the cutting edge of technology without breaking the bank. Realme’s X50 certainly qualifies as the sort of device that answers that need.

In summary, as a light flagship phone, the realme X7 Pro delivers in many areas. It has an excellent design, useful 65W fast-charging, a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display, and more. It's definitely flagship-class but comes at an affordable price of RM1999, which makes it an attractive option for many. However, it does have some room for improvement.

The Realme X7 Pro 5G excites with reliably good performance, impressive imaging capabilities, and long-lasting battery life. The addition of a 120Hz display further helps differentiate the phone from the competition. The Realme X7 Pro might appear a bit boring and the software situation is lamentable but as an overall package, it's a safe bet in the premium mid-range.

Powerful chipset, excellent display, super-fast charging on top of potentially great battery life, stereo speakers - the Realme X7 Pro has a lot going for it. The Realme X7 Pro marks Realme's return to the budget flagship sector, after a brief break following the Realme X3 Superzoom last year. It is the first time Realme has used a MediaTek chipset in one of its high-end devices, opting for the Dimensity 1000+ chip. The phone ticks almost all flagship boxes, but we feel loses out on a "special something" that would have made it a compelling rather than a competitive option.

realme X7 Pro’s 65W ultra-fast charging, the amazing 120 Hz Super AMOLED, and the flagship-level performance from the Dimensity 1000+ are some really nice and impressive traits, not forgetting the stereo speakers’ experience. The price for the realme X7 Pro is ₹29,999 for its 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant and competes with the ₹27,999 OnePlus Nord, and it’s clear that the realme X7 Pro emerges with a better overall position in terms of performance, display, and charging.

Priced at Rs 29,999, the Realme X7 Pro is the smartphone to look out for in the premium-midrange segment. It has a good display complemented by even better stereo speakers, compact and practical design, competent cameras with tons of value-added feature, sleek performance, and decent on-battery time supported by an industry-leading fast-charge technology. It also happens to be a 5G smartphone, so it future-proofs you for the time 5G services roll out in India. The limited on-board storage capacity, lack of zoom lens and underwhelming low-light imaging capability, and dated Android 10 operating system set it back a few notches in comparison to other premium-midrange smartphones. However, despite these compromises, the Realme X7 Pro makes for a good value-for-money proposition in its segment.

The Realme X7 Pro is a good daily driver of a smartphone for its great battery life, reliable performance and a gorgeous display that's great both indoors and outdoors, for both work and play. Gamers will appreciate the 120HZ high refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate on the Super AMOLED display. Realme X7 Pro is a great flagship killer smartphone, but the price is a little on the higher side, compared to the competition. Nevertheless, you are getting a robust performance, AMOLED panel, long battery life with 65W fast charging support, and of course 5G support for Rs 29,999. The mentioned price is for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The camera performance of X7 Pro is a hit or miss. Do note that the device ships with Android 10 and lacks a headphone jack. Alternatively, there is the Xiaomi Mi 10i, which has an excellent camera experience, audio jack and good overall general performance at a lower price.

The Realme X7 5G offers very good overall performance, and other than a few minor annoyances with the software, the usage experience is smooth. Hopefully, Realme UI 2.0 eases up on the bloat and spam. This phone is also relatively light and compact without sacrificing battery life. The Realme X7 Max is a solid midrange smartphone with something in store for everyone. It is not perfect but a balanced smartphone that does not compromise on any front. It delivers a comprehensive user experience in everyday use and works without breaking a sweat from power-and-graphic intensive tasks, including gaming. For its price, the Realme X7 Max is a smartphone you cannot go wrong with. Still, compare it with other heavy-weight contenders in the midrange segment like the Xiaomi Mi 11X before closing on the purchase decision.

Where most big brands come with limited features, the Realme X7 Max smartphone proves by offering all the necessary features that can compel users to buy the phone. Here, you will see all the essential features such as better display, performance, camera and battery life. The X7 Max is a great phone for gamers as well. But you may experience limitations with the battery and the Expanded storage. Hope this isn’t a big problem, because it’s manageable and decent enough with the data provided by the company. If you’re still looking for an alternative option, the Galaxy A52 smartphone would be a great choice, but you might have to compromise on other features as well.

Allow me to wrap up this review of the Realme X7 Max. Overall, despite some obvious flaws with this phone like the plastic design, average ultra-wide-angle lens, and the not-so-great videography ability, at INR 26,999, it’s difficult to beat what this phone is offering. So, as I said earlier in this review, instead of getting phones like OnePlus Nord CE, Mi 11 Lite, or Galaxy A52, I would certainly recommend you go a little out of your budget and get the Realme X7 Max instead as it offers much better performance, excellent display, and a reliable primary camera, which I think is worth paying extra.

It is hard not to compare the Realme X7 Max 5G to its Realme GT sibling for a number of reasons. Both devices are perfect examples of what we would consider modern "flagship killers", with the X7 Max 5G arguably taking the already tempting value proposition of the Realme GT even further. Realme mostly managed to pull this off by swapping a Snapdragon 888 for the exciting top-dog Dimensity 1200 chip, with practically no major downgrades to the overall experience and a nice reduction in price.

For the starting price of Rs 26,999, the Realme X7 Max 5G carries the capability to challenge other smartphones or even a segment of higher devices in terms of performance and features. But, the average overall camera performance is where the Realme X7 5G Max lag behind the competition. Still, if you are looking for a smartphone that offers good performance, features, battery life, latest software and a good display and if the camera is not that big deal for you, then Realme X7 Max 5G is worth a look.

The Realme X7 Max 5G is exceptionally powerful for a sub-Rs. 30,000 phone, but that doesn't mean it's a perfect all-rounder. It's best suited to gamers and heavy multi-taskers who aren't too concerned about camera quality. The processor, display, speakers, and battery all work together to make this a great entertainment device, and 5G support potentially means your streaming and multiplayer experiences will improve during the useful life of this device. The look and feel of this phone are also not up to the standard that many will expect at this price level. If you can live with these compromises, you'll get a great phone for gaming at a low cost. What's absolutely certain though, is if you've been considering the Realme X7 Pro 5G, you should buy this phone instead.

The Realme X7 Max and its MediaTek Dimensity 1200 can trade blows with some of the Snapdragon-powered flagship phones out there but at a fraction of the cost. Apart from great performance, it comes with the added benefit of a refined camera experience, a sharp 120HZ OLED display, bombastic speakers, a headphone jack, and the zippy Realme UI 2.0. While these factors tilt the scale in the phone's favor, there are a few annoyances. Realme UI still has bloatware, and spam notifications from pre-installed apps seem to be on the rise. Additionally, the phone will only ever be officially updated to Android 12, which is not a good look for a phone of its price. Another thing that isn't in favor of the phone is the build — it doesn't feel as premium as the Xiaomi Mi 11X does. However, if you're the one to put phones in cases immediately, this might not matter as much to you.

The Realme X7 Max 5G is a powerful handset wrapped in a sleek body. The phone packs in a brilliant AMOLED screen, an optimised OS and impressively quick charging times. It's in the camera department where this handset is lacking. Had the company fitted the Realme 8 Pro's 108 MP camera to the X7 Max 5G, it would have been one hell of a device. I know the phone's cost would have gone up, but I think it would have been worth it. Maybe Realme could have offset that cost by choosing a non-5G chipset. That said, the Realme X Max 5G is still a good sub-Rs 30,000 option. The phone's 8 GB + 128 GB variant is priced at Rs 27,000, whereas the 12 GB + 256 GB model we reviewed costs Rs 30,000. Its closest competitor is Xiaomi's Mi 11X 5G, with its 6 GB + 128 GB model priced at Rs 30,000 and the 8 GB + 128 GB variant going all the way up to Rs 32,000.

The Realme X7 Max is a reliable performer and users can buy it if solid performance is what they are after. The mid-range phone has an above-average rear camera setup and a good display as well. However, the build quality is not that great. Alternatively, you can buy the Realme X7 Pro smartphone for better camera performance and build quality. The general performance of both the phones is similar and the devices are currently available at the same price. You can also wait for phones like OnePlus Nord CE and Poco F3 GT as these will soon launch in India.

realme X7 Max is a great smartphone when it comes to price, at ₹26,999, this smartphone has what it takes to compete with a flagship smartphone. Having a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor, stainless steel vapour cooling system, 50W super-fast charging, the amazing 120 Hz Super AMOLED screen, and stereo speakers proves it all. There could be hardly any other recommendations we could give if this is the package, the realme X7 Max is highly recommended for those who are into gaming and heavy multitasking under ₹30,000.

Realme has delivered an excellent phone here. The Realme X7 Max 5G gets most things right. A fantastic display with a high refresh rate? Check. Loud stereo speakers? Check. Premium-tier performance with 5G? Check. A battery that lasts nearly a day. Check. With all these checks, the phone leaves almost nothing to complain about. It even has a 3.5mm headphone jack to appease you. But for the sake of nitpicking, I wish the phone could do better night photography and get rid of bloatware to make the UI a lot cleaner. The software is no match for what you get on a OnePlus or a Samsung phone for around this price. But if that does not concern you, Realme X7 Max 5G is your bang for the buck phone.
