再见超线程 在发布了骁龙 X Elite 芯片和 AMD Zen 5 CPU 之后,英特尔终于推出了全新的 Lunar Lake 移动处理器。这些全新的芯片注重效率,而且英特尔首次取消了超线程技术。但新机型的效率究竟如何,是否牺牲了太多性能?

继几个月前高通和 AMD 发布了新款移动处理器之后,英特尔也紧随其后发布了新款第二代酷睿至尊处理器(Lunar Lake)。这些处理器并不是老款 Meteor Lake 芯片的简单继承者,而是采用了全新的架构,其重点首先在于效率。只要看一下它们的 TDP(总功耗),就会明白这一点,TDP 占 15-37 瓦,而旧版 Meteor Lake CPU 的功耗在 15-115 瓦之间。45 瓦级别的后继产品,即 Arrow Lake,可能要到今年年底或 2025 年初才会推出。

英特尔取消了超线程技术,下面的分析将揭示新型 Lunar Lake CPU 的效率和性能。我们已在的单独文章 中对新英特尔 Arc Graphics 140V 的 GPU 性能进行了分析。

概述 - 英特尔月亮湖

新的 Lunar Lake 处理器带来了一些令人兴奋的创新,在此我们想简单讨论一下。新机型的基本配置始终如一,有四个快速性能内核(Lion Cove)(现在首次不使用超线程技术)和四个效率内核(Skymont)。Lunar Lake 处理器由台积电(TSMC)制造;带有 P/E 内核的计算芯片采用 N3B 工艺,SoC 芯片采用 N6 工艺。

另一项重大创新与内存有关,现在内存直接集成到处理器中(与骁龙 X SoC 相同)。它使用 LPDDR5x-8533 内存,容量为 16 或 32 GB。虽然不能安装更多的内存,但对于预期用途(日常使用的轻薄笔记本电脑)来说,这应该是完全足够的。

连接仍使用 Thunderbolt 4,但 Wi-Fi 模块现在标准支持快速 Wi-Fi 7。正如我们在评测 Zenbook S 14中看到的,其传输速率提高到 3-4 Gbit/s(相比之下,Wi-Fi 6 为 1.8 Gbit/s),当然,前提是你有一个相应的 Wi-Fi 7 路由器。

此次上市的 Lunar Lake CPU 共有九款。通过型号名称的最后一个字母 "V",可以比较容易地识别出这些是 Lunar Lake 型号。按照惯例,Core Ultra 5/7/9 代表一般性能水平,由此可以看出各核心时钟频率的差异。三位数字的最后一个数字也非常重要,6 代表 16GB 内存,8 代表 32GB 内存。性能更强的 Core Ultra 9/7 型号配备了英特尔 Arc Graphics 140V(第二代 8 Xe 内核),而 Core Ultra 5 型号则配备了第二代 7 Xe 内核的较弱 Arc Graphics 130V。

当然,针对人工智能应用的 NPU 也有所改进。Lunar Lake 处理器的 NPU 性能为 48 TOPS,因此位于高通(45 TOPS)和 AMD(50 TOPS)的 NPU 之间。对于用户来说,这个数字本身并不重要,重要的是 Lunar Lake 满足了微软对 Copilot+ 笔记本电脑 NPU 的要求。不过,Copilot+的全部功能在市场发布时还无法实现,但会在以后通过更新加入。

测试系统

华硕 华硕 Zenbook S 14华硕 Zenbook S 14 作为测试系统提供给我们,我们已经对其进行了全面测试。这是一款轻薄的 14 英寸笔记本电脑,配备 Intel Core Ultra 7 258V、Arc Graphics 140V 和 32 GB LPDDR5x-8533 内存。Zenbook 曾短暂达到 37 瓦的最大指定功耗,但最迟在 20 秒后,就在最快能耗模式下降至 28 瓦的最大功耗。

我们使用的其他测试系统包括配备英特尔酷睿 Ultra 7 155H 的 Zenbook 14、配备 AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 的 Zenbook S 16 和配备 AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 的联想 Yoga Pro 7 14。我们使用 Throttle Stop 和 Universal x86 Tuning Utility 工具设置了每种情况下的 TDP 值。

测试程序

为了对不同处理器进行有意义的比较,我们除了考察它们在合成基准测试中的纯性能外,还考察了它们的功耗,并据此确定了它们的效率。我们的功耗测量都是在外部显示器上进行的,这样可以排除不同内部显示器的影响因素。尽管如此,我们仍然测量了系统的总体消耗,而不仅仅是比较纯粹的 TDP 值。

在基准测试中,我们只使用当前所有系统上都能运行的应用程序。因此,我们的分析不再使用 Cinebench R23 等旧版测试。

单核性能和效率

我们首先进行了 Cinebench 2024 和 Geekbench 6 的两项单核测试。在满载情况下,IA 核心的功耗约为 12 瓦,低于 Meteor Lake(约 16 瓦)和 Strix Point(约 18 瓦),但高于Apple M3(5-6 瓦)。骁龙处理器所需的功耗也更低。

,其单核性能整体上非常不错。在 Cinebench 2024 测试中,新款酷睿至尊 7 258V 的性能超过了旧款流星湖 CPU(+18%)和 AMD Zen 5(+6%)。不带涡轮增压的小型骁龙 X 芯片被反超(+10 %),但 X1E-80-100 或 X1E-84-100 等更快的型号速度稍快(+2-6 %)。Apple在 Geekbench 测试中,M3 SoC 仍明显快得多(+18%)。在 Geekbench 测试中,Apple 、高通和 AMD Zen 5 都领先于 Lunar Lake 芯片,而较早的 Meteor Lake 型号和 Zen 4 笔记本电脑则被击败。

多核性能和效率

不同 TDP 值下的性能和效率

由于每台笔记本电脑的 TDP 配置不同,功耗限制配置也不同,因此直接比较总是有些困难。因此,我们一共测试了四种不同的处理器(Core Ultra 7 258V、Core Ultra 7 155H、Ryzen AI 9 HX 370、Ryzen AI 9 365)的固定功耗限制。Zenbook S 14 无法长期保持 30 瓦以上的功率,因此我们选择了 28 瓦、20 瓦和 15 瓦。我们无法更改 ARM CPU 的功耗限制,因此目前还没有考虑这些芯片。

在查看结果时,必须考虑到 Lunar Lake 芯片的 TDP 包括内存消耗,这在一定程度上扭曲了结果。尽管如此,AMD Ryzen AI 300 CPU 在所有数值上都明显更快,这也与之前的结果一致。不过,与 Meteor Lake 相比,英特尔的性能有了大幅提升,由此可见,Meteor Lake 并不是专为低功耗设计的。另外,从下面的对比图中可以清楚地看到这一点,酷睿至尊 7 155H 在 20 瓦时的效率要高于 15 瓦。我们还在 Vivobook S 15 中加入了骁龙 X Elite (X1E-78-100),它在耳语模式下的运行功耗为 20 瓦。与 Lunar Lake 芯片一样,这里也包括内存消耗,但高通芯片在 20 瓦时的效率仍比酷睿 Ultra 258V 高 33%。

结论 - Lunar Lake 拥有良好的日常效率

英特尔在 Lunar Lake 移动处理器上采取了不同的做法,这是非常必要的。旧款流星湖芯片在低 TDP 范围内的性能并不理想,而且由于 U 系列芯片的两个 P 核心性能较低,制造商不愿意安装。

新的酷睿至尊 7 258V 的单核性能非常出色,英特尔也得以提高其效率,即使 ARM 竞争对手仍有其优势。乍一看,它的多核性能令人瞠目结舌,但必须明确指出的是,它的性能完全足以满足轻薄日常笔记本电脑的预期用途。内置内存(最大 32GB)也是如此,但不能扩展。
