Acer在游戏本市场作了精彩的亮相。如果把它的浮夸设计和软触感表面抛开不谈，它的机身还十分可圈可点。除了坚固的材质，它的输入设备和接口配备也十分实用。不是所有的生产商都会搭配USB 3.1接口。另一方面，FrostCore的实际意义让人不解。很多游戏本在不实用额外风扇时也可以让掌托保持常温。

它的IPS屏幕获得了不少的称赞。相比TN屏幕，不光是可视角度范围，色彩也改善了不少。它的另一个卖点是超长的电池续航时间。在中亮度设置下近7.5小时的视频播放时间让很多高端笔记本也相形见绌。而方便的PredatorSense和Care Center工具软件也十分值得一提。

整体上，这款15寸设备没能进入我们的Top 10排名。这其中最主要的原因在于它的较高重量（3.6千克）和较小维护升级空间。Acer也需要改进它的音响效果，显存容量和处理器的加速利用率。不过，它的外观设计最让我们失望。如果能够更加低调些可能会为它带来不少加分。这款笔记本电脑的设计更像是一个外星人(alien)而非掠夺者（predator)。
