Apple A18是一款功能强大的智能手机处理器,也是 A16 的正式继任者。 A16.Apple A 系列处理器的新成员于 2024 年 9 月与 iPhone 16 和 iPhone 16 Plus 一起亮相。 iPhone 16 和 iPhone 16 Plus它拥有 2 个高性能内核和 4 个高效内核,以及 35 TOPS NPU 和 5 核 A18图形处理器。

该芯片通常搭配 8 GB 内存。据说它在很大程度上基于 v9.2A ARM 微架构,可实现接近Apple M4 的 IPC。它还支持 5G、Wi-Fi 7、蓝牙 5.3、各种卫星导航系统和 NFC。

更昂贵的 A18 ProSoC 采用相同的 2 个 P 核和 4 个 E 核,运行时钟速度略高; 图形适配器则比 A18 快得多。另一个关键的小细节是,A18 不支持 USB 3.x,或仅支持 USB 2.0,而 A18 Pro 则不支持 USB 3.x。

性能

多线程基准测试结果表明,A18 Pro 的性能与 骁龙 8 第 3 代Dimensity 9300.正如Apple 所预期的那样,A 系列处理器的单线程性能令人叹为观止,几乎可以与功耗更高的 Apple M3芯片。这表明,在需要时,P 系列处理器的主频几乎可以达到 4 GHz。

图形

与任何现代图形适配器一样 5 核 A18 GPU支持 RT。它的基准测试成绩与 G715 MP11G615 MP6.

功耗

在高负载情况下,芯片的短暂功耗可达 9 W 左右,平均持续功耗徘徊在 3-4 W 左右。

截至 2024 年底,相当先进的台积电 N3E 制造工艺使 A 系列芯片非常省电。
