The audience for the ExpertBook B9450 is somewhat specific. But that doesn’t mean it’s small. If you’re someone who doesn’t care much about processing power, but does care about portability, battery life, and storage, this laptop is worth the $1,799. Not only is it among the lightest you can buy at this size, but it’s one of few products in its weight class to feature dual storage slots. It’ll be difficult to find all three of those features in many other 14-inch laptops at this price point. Add nice build quality and the nifty numpad feature, and I imagine this is a laptop many at-home and on-the-go workers will be happy to have.

Now, the million-dollar question: should you buy it or not? Well, the simple answer to this question is a big yes. The Asus ExpertBook B9 is light and sturdy. It is loaded with security features. It has an extremely comfortable display along with long battery life. And it has powerful hardware too. Sure, the Numpad 2.0 does throw a fit once in a while but that can be easily fixed using a software update. Now, a hefty price tag might be a bummer for some, but with everything that the ExpertBook B9 is offering the price, it is somewhat justified.

It will take some searching to find another ultrabook that does what the Asus ExpertBook B9 does. Impossibly thin and light, the device is also beautifully designed and well-specced. That said, it does not come cheap, but if portability and power are key to you, this ultrabook is well worth looking at.

With a starting price of ₹62,999, the Asus Expertbook can be a consideration for anybody looking for a sturdy laptop with sufficient corporate abilities. Other users with a more focussed purpose, such as gamers, content creators, or graphic designers will find a lot of flaws and shortcomings and hence should prefer other options. Overall, the Expertbook is definitely not an expert, but rather a business specialist.

Priced Rs 1,02,228 onwards, the Asus ExpertBook B9 450F is an obvious choice if you need an enterprise-grade thin and light notebook for everyday work. Despite featuring a thin and light form factor, the notebook is quite a performer and has an impressive on-battery time. There is nothing missing here: it has a sturdy build, decent screen, practical spill-resistant backlit keyboard and touchpad, and a host of I/O ports for connectivity. And not to forget, the notebook has Wi-Fi 6 for wireless internet connectivity.

From our end, we can say that the laptop is exceptionally lightweight, well-built, long on battery life, and pleasure to use. It ticks every box for a business-friendly ultraportable laptop. There is no reason why it should not be at the top of every business users’ wishlist.

With a starting price of Rs 1,02,228, the Asus ExpertBook B9 450F is among the most practical devices I have seen in recent times. Given the work from home environment all of us seem to be stuck in for at least a few more months, this device is just what enterprises should consider for upper management personnel who need a tech upgrade. This is a frictionless device that offers users the right mix of practicality, style and convenience. I think the ThinkPad will have something to think about now.

If you're one of those users that carry laptops around, this is a great deal. Furthermore, its battery is superior and long-lasting. It's a great laptop for business travelers who need something light and manageable. Despite the low resolution, power button placement, and the 16:9 aspect ratio the laptop is absolutely fit for business travelers. So if you're thinking of acquiring an ultralight laptop for business travel then this is a worthwhile buy. This is of course if you don't mind the low resolution and aspect ratio. The battery life is long-lasting and ideal for a whole day's work.

With prices from $3,199, Asus ExpertBook B9450 is not cheap for individual buyers, but the price that will actually be paid by companies will likely vary considerably according to their IT service providers. What we can say is that it’s incredibly well built, a joy to use and ticks every box for a business-friendly ultraportable. Demanding power users might find it a bit slow, but this should be near the top of every mobile worker’s wishlist.

And of course there’s its ridiculous weight. I’m not even joking when I say that every other laptop feels too heavy to me now—and it’s not every day that I get my perception completely flipped.

The ASUS ExpertBook B9 checks out in everything an on-the-go professional would need. It has a color-accurate screen with slim bezels, powerful processor, large RAM, high-speed storage, a pleasant keyboard with a functional trackpad, security features, and a long battery life. All of that is housed in a slim and lightweight chassis that not only looks good but is tough as well.

ASUS did a lot of things right with the ExpertBook B9450F. It’s incredibly light, tough, and sturdy – things that are needed in a notebook meant for the corporate world. Its screen is pretty good, and despite its faults it more than enough for daily use, perfect for meetings in coffee shops when it’s finally safe to venture outside. Its battery life is insane too and has the longest run time of any notebook we’ve tested so far in Unbox. Of course, a premium notebook like this isn’t going to be cheap, and while ASUS has yet to announce local pricing for the notebook, we expect it to be close to Php 100K for the top-tier variant.

As technology continues to improve, so has the style and design of laptops. Gone are the days of bulky laptops and we have come a long way to the point where we can fit in high-end top-tier tech specs into an ultra-compact laptop. The laptop market may not be as hot as mobile devices, but there's still a demand for it, so if you're looking for a laptop purely for office work, here's our review of the ASUS ExpertBook B9.

We’re rather familiar with ASUS’s lineup of laptops. We have the VivoBook family as the budget-oriented option, and then we have the ZenBook family for premium thin and light laptops. And then out of nowhere, we now have the ASUS ExpertBook family, which offers a completely different look and feel. It is also targeted towards enterprises, but available in other variants for consumers like you and me too.

Now, the moment of truth. Is the ASUS ExpertBook B9 worth the RM9299 asking price? All things considered, I do not think I will pay that much for this laptop. I would rather opt for the lesser options which offer half the storage and no Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for RM1000 less. Or, just opt for the Core i5 variants, since there’s not much reason to opt for the Core i7 variant here anyway. If you really want raw performance, you should look at AMD-powered laptops like the VivoBook S14, instead of Intel-powered ones.

All in all, the ExpertBook B9450 is truly the ideal laptop for you if long-lasting battery life, and an ultra-portable laptop that is not only super lightweight but also incredibly durable is what you are after. It offers rather average performance overall, as seen on the benchmark tests, but its other features more than makes up for it. This business laptop will cost you S$2,298, which is still a little cheaper than some of its competitors in the market.

It’s quite a deal breaker to see that the ASUS ExpertBook B9 was not able to perform up to expectations. It’s holding us back from recommending it, as we know that you will be paying for something but not able to achieve its full performance. Instead, we would recommend that you should explore into a lower SKU, such as the one with the Intel Core i5 processor instead. It should produce less heat, and therefore have a probable chance of performing even better than the Core i7 version.

Sheltering in place means hours spent working and videoconferencing at home -- and on the couch or in bed, for some of us. That means battery life and lap-friendliness remain relevant even if you're not traveling or working in oddball places. But as much as I like the 14-inch Asus ExpertBook B9450 for its strengths in that respect, its price tag may be a little offputting, especially given its relative weaknesses compared with less expensive models.

Sheltering in place means hours spent working and videoconferencing at residence — and on the sofa or in mattress, for a few of us. That means battery life and lap-friendliness stay related even for those who’re not touring or working in oddball locations. But as a lot as I just like the 14-inch Asus ExpertBook B9450 for its strengths in that respect, its price ticket could also be a little bit offputting, particularly given its relative weaknesses in contrast with cheaper fashions.

This is Asus's best ultrabook to date. It nails many aspects I would want in a modern 2020 ultrabook: it's well built and ultralight, it's one of the best performers in its category, it includes one of the larger batteries in its class and doesn't compromise on inputs, IO or features. However, the rather dim matte screen and the lack of any other display option could be deal-breakers for some of you, as well as the choice to go with a quad-core Comet Lake hardware implementation. Don't get me wrong, it performs admirably, but still fades in comparison to the IceLake and six-core Comet Lake hardware you'll get with the competition. We get in-depth on all these aspects in the review down below.

Let's start with what the laptop does right: The ExpertBook B9450 has a very attractive, midnight-pearlescent chassis that is both superlightweight and durable. The 14-inch, 1080p screen is relatively bright and vivid, and the anti-glare finish makes it great for outdoor use. But the clear highlight of the ExpertBook B9450 is its ridiculously long battery life, which lasted for more than 16 hours. It's worth reiterating: that's longer than any other laptop.

As someone who travels a fair amount for trade shows like CES 2020, I like to travel as light as possible when I’m roaming the convention floor. At a scant 1.9 pounds, the Asus ExpertBook B9450 seems like it be right up my alley, especially when you toss in the durability and security features.
