Display Response Times

Display response times show how fast the screen is able to change from one color to the next. Slow response times can lead to afterimages and can cause moving objects to appear blurry (ghosting). Gamers of fast-paced 3D titles should pay special attention to fast response times.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

The frequency of 1000 Hz is quite high, so most users sensitive to PWM should not notice any flickering.

In comparison: 53 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 8715 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 343500) Hz was measured.

这台电池续航相对较短的笨重桌面式笔记本电脑可能会吸引喜欢反光表面的用户。它搭配了绚丽的高对比度屏幕,同时没有什么技术上的弱点。

用户可能会感觉售价相对较低(770欧元,约5656人民币)的华硕F756UX-T7013T物超所值。

它的键盘不是特别适合办公。而机身也在一些地方不够坚固,这可能在桌面使用中很难察觉到。它的弱点在于除了VGA和USB-C型接口之外的接口数量和无线技术。较弱的无线模组让人很难满意,对于许多使用5 GHz频段的用户来说会成为一个问题。

因此,F756UX可能适合要求不是很高的游戏玩家和多媒体爱好者。喜欢这台设备的基本概念的用户可以考虑选择它售价稍高的固态硬盘幸好。我们感觉升级i7-6500U处理器的必要性不大,因为它的显卡会明显成为系统的瓶颈。同类产品在测试中都得到了80%或81%的分数,不过我们测试的机型售价也都更高。
