Core i9-9880H就是Core i9-8950HK应该有的样子。这两个额外的内核使其具有相比较Core i7-8750H和Core i7-9750H明显的性能优势。在考虑任何性能限制之前, i7-8750H平均性能要差约36%。
缺点来自于同模具下塞入了更多核的CPU。也就是说,当CPU完全负载时,核心温度和功耗会更高。运行Prime95时,i9-9880H稳定在90°C,而i7-8750H的SKU则为73°C。与此同时,游戏功耗231 W,而去年的GE73 8SG则仅为207 W。未充分利用所有八个内核的应用程序将比六核Core i7系列的性能提升更少。
