The Moto G60 turned out to be quite an interesting and promising mid-ranger of the G-series. The smartphone has a pleasant design and convenient format, a good IPS display with 120 Hz, decent performance for its segment, good cameras, simply amazing battery life and a completely sane price tag. Separately, I would like to note a nice “clean” software with convenient Moto features on top, a 3.5 mm connector, a flash for the front-facing camera and support for memory cards up to 1 TB. But there were some issues after all. There is a little lack of brightness, and I would also like the assistant call button to be used in some other way. But there are no perfect smartphones, no matter what price segment we are talking about. Anyway, in my opinion, the G60 is a good option for those who are looking for a workhorse that probably won’t have to be charged every day, with a 120 Hz screen, a nice UI and at a good price.

Wrapping up this review, the Motorola Moto G60 has wowed me with its stock Android experience and top-notch battery endurance. Despite this, it falls behind when it comes to other fundamental pillars of a great smartphone, like design and display. Even disregarding the plastic build quality, G60’s bulky form factor is an easy turn-off for many. And, as I’ve demonstrated throughout this review, the LCD screen and mono speaker on Motorola Moto G60 are no match for the Note 10 Pro’s AMOLED panel and stereo speakers. Overall, Motorola could have done a lot better to make the G60 a competitive contender in the mid-range smartphone market. So if you don’t care much about the stock Android experience, this shouldn’t be on the top of your top choice.

At Rs 17,999, Motorola has done a great job with the Moto G60. It has arrived, so to speak. The performance of the smartphone is pretty smooth and fast, the battery is impressive and lasts a little over two days. The camera captures sharp and crisp images during day time. Basically, the Moto G60 is a complete package. If you want a phone that handles gaming, performs basic tasks efficiently and clicks good pictures, this is the phone you should look for.

Motorola has been aggressive with the Moto G60, and the Rs. 17,999 price matches that of the Realme 8 Pro. While there have been compromises to get to this price point, Motorola hasn't cut corners significantly in terms of performance or the software experience. The Moto G60 is more powerful than the Realme 8 Pro and offers a better user experience.

My final evaluation of Motorola Moto G60s probably won't surprise you. It has its good and bad sides, but mediocrity dominates. The housing and hardware parameters are average, and the photos give way to more expensive mediums, not to mention flagships. Despite my sentiment towards Motorola, I would not recommend this model as a device of first choice. If an operator offers you Moto G60s cheaper or for free, this might be a worthwhile proposition. But if you are ready to spend 229 euros on the phone, then I suggest you look for a more attractive alternative - you will surely find something.

The Moto G60S isn’t one of this great series’s most dynamic releases. It doesn’t have 5G, nor a chart-topping camera or notable processor. However, it does largely ace the “low maintenance” angle that has always been a Moto draw for me. Its software is quirk-free, battery life is solid, if not Moto’s best, and charging speed is excellent. The large screen is great for casual gaming and video, too – although this isn’t the best 4G gaming phone you can get for your money. It’s a sound option, though, particularly if you have owned a Motorola budget phone before and like how they operate. But there are more exciting alternatives available from companies such as Xiaomi and Realme.

The Moto G60s hardly reinvents the wheel with regards to Motorola phones, but it does impress in several key areas. Battery life from the 5000mAh cell is solid, while the 50W adapter in the box makes charging a breeze. The software experience is excellent (despite being based on Android 11) I really enjoyed using the 120Hz display. However, there are other key pillars of a great phone where the Moto G60s doesn’t quite hit the mark. Performance isn’t great for anything more than basic usage and the cameras are unreliable. With no 5G and a rather cheap build, you’ll have to be content with plenty of compromises. That’s to be expected at this price point to some extent, but several other budget phones deliver more of what the average person is looking for. As such, it’s difficult to recommend the G60s unless you’re only considering Motorola handsets.

The Moto G60S is an affordable Android phone with a big screen and 4G mobile internet. If you want 5G, move on. However, at the time of release you tend to have to put up with compromises elsewhere if you want 5G on a budget. The Moto G60S avoids most of these. It has a very large, sharp screen, a capable chipset and lots of storage, at 128GB. We are also big fans of its charger, which gets you to 76% in a half-hour and is pretty much the only charger you need for your mobile devices, as it has both USB-A and USB-C slots. The Motorola Moto G60S is very much a generalist, though, and is perhaps not the most exciting Android you can buy for around its cost of $290 / £219 / AU$329. Its gaming performance is solid, but certainly not the best you can get at this level. Similarly, while the Moto G60S's camera can produce good results, its slightly lazy HDR processing often leaves you with dull-looking images.

The Motorola G60s does a lot of things right, and won’t leave you crying over your empty wallet. It’s one of the cheapest phones to feature a 120Hz refresh rate display, and even though it’s of the LCD variety, the screen is bright, crisp, and impressively color-accurate. Yes, the phone has a plastic unibody but also sports a nice texture on the back that not only looks cool but keeps fingerprints at bay. The Moto G60s is relatively light for its size, and the battery life is amazing in day-to-day use. Plus you get a huge 50W fast charger in the retail box.

Packed with good features, the Motorola Moto G60s smartphone loses value when it comes to faster performance. With a less standard chipset and storage capacity constraint, gamers should stay away from the Moto G60s phone. Also, the absence of 5G support makes this phone a confusing choice. Expectations were higher, but this phone couldn’t meet that. It is difficult to imagine how the company could come up with a phone like that when they’ve released a better one on a low budget. If you are looking for an alternative option, it is recommended that you check out the Mi 11X 5G smartphone with better specs or you can check out our budget 5G smartphones section to explore more.

Some of the drawbacks of the more budget G-series models are still present here – the screen is still just an IPS panel, the RAM and base storage are on the lower side and it lacks an official IP rating – but the balance between price and features offered makes these issues niggles rather than dealbreakers. If you’ve got a hard budget of £200 and you want to get the most bang for your buck, the Moto G62 is a solid bet. It’s the best value offering from the Moto G line we’ve seen so far, and an impressive budget entry in the market at large.

The Motorola Moto G62 is an affordable 5G phone with a reasonably large screen and stereo speakers. These three characteristics make it seem made for entertainment, rather than just the basics. It’s a rock-solid phone for people who want an upgrade that opens them up to the 5G mobile internet speeds that are now standard in phone contracts in many countries. The Moto G62 also has a few of the characteristics that have made the Moto G series phones easy to recommend for so long. Overall, battery life is good, the design is unlikely to turn anyone off, the software is tasteful and uncluttered, and the price is right.

The Motorola Moto g62 5G showed decent autonomy when tested in factory default settings. The performance during our typical usage scenario was excellent, with decent night management (only 1.67% of power was lost per night on average) and low discharge currents during the day. Outdoors, the performance was very good, especially when scrolling on social apps and calling. When tested in calibrated mode, the autonomy was decent, except when streaming videos. But the performance was better when tested in factory default mode. The charging experience was poor overall. The device could handle only 15W, which was not enough to quickly charge the large 5000 mAh battery: It took 2 hours and 41 minutes to reach full capacity. The autonomy expected after a 5-minute charge was only 2 hours and 32 minutes on average, far below the average. The charge efficiency, as well as the travel adapter efficiency, was really low, among the last in our database. However, the residual consumption of the charger was well-managed and very low when the device was fully charged and still plugged in. The discharge currents during our calibrated tests were average, except when streaming video, indicating that the device was not optimized for this use case. Compared with other devices from the same price range ($200 to $399), the Motorola stands among the last ones.

Based on my first impression, I can say that it's indeed a decent choice for a 5G enabled budget phone if you are ready to compromise on the looks. The handset offers impressive features for the price it sells. Those looking for a 5G phone that lasts long and offers powerful performance may consider Moto G62 5G. That said, you should wait for our in-depth review of the Moto G62 5G over the next few days.

The Motorola Moto Tab G62 tablet was announced in August 2022 at the price of S199 (Rs 15,000 in India) approx. The tablet arrives with a 10.6 inches IPS LCD display panel with a water-repellent design. Besides this, the tablet feels slim with 7.5 mm thickness and weighs around 465 g which is a little heavy in weight. The Moto Tab G62 runs on the latest Android 12 OS and equips a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset that can reach up to a 4x 2.4GHz clocking speed. The tablet offered 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and a dedicated SD card slot. For the camera section, you will receive an 8MP ultrawide lens at the rear and an 8MP selfie lens for video calls. Both cameras can record 1080p videos without any gyro-EIS support. Besides this, you will attain the necessary comms and sensors. The tablet has a huge Li-Po 7700 mAh battery capacity and 20W fast-charging support. The Moto Tab G62 is available in a single Gray color option.

Yes, the Moto G62 5G from Motorola is one of the most affordable phones on the market to offer 5G connectivity. However, it sacrifices a bit too much from the other aspects that make or break a phone for our liking. The display would have been a great one for this price point, despite the inaccurate colors and mediocre contrast levels, if only its maximum brightness was more satisfactory. Another great example is the great battery life that can easily be overshadowed by the poor charging speeds and the even less capable charging brick, which almost feels like a joke just to spite the user. When you factor in the rest of the cons such as average camera quality, unreliable software support, cheap build, and low level of protection, things like the phone’s great audio quality and impressive stereo speakers tend to disappear into the void. If you can spare just a little more cash, we would recommend looking elsewhere, and pick one of the alternative options that are not as stripped down and still have that 5G connectivity.

The Motorola Moto G62 5G is a solid low to mid-range handset which offers the benefits of 5G, a big screen and long battery life. It understandably makes sacrifices to keep the price tag down, but you might not mind as long as you’re not looking for a powerhouse device or concerned about the fact it’s not waterproof. If you want a big screen but your needs are simple, the Moto G62 5G might fit nicely in your hand and your budget.

The Motorola Moto G62 5G is a decent phone packing necessary specs like Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 120Hz display and support for 12 5G bands. The phone offers a decent battery backup with stereo speakers for a good multimedia experience. The UI is clean with no extras which makes it easy to use. However, the back camera setup is unimpressive, and it lacks an appealing design. Moreover, the 20W charging speed seems slow compared to what the competition is offering. All things considered, the Moto G62 5G is a decent option if you’re looking for a casual future-proof smartphone. Otherwise, you can also take a look at Poco X4 Pro 5G or Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus for a better value for money experience.

Starting at Rs. 16,999 in India, the Moto G62 5G seems reasonable given the specs on hand with a few misses. Motorola could have managed to squeeze a high refresh rate OLED panel as well as a faster-charging support with better camera performance. However, the Moto G62's excellent software along with a decent battery backup, great performance and ample 5G bands support makes it a worthwhile choice in the affordable segment for most people. Compared to phones such as the Redmi Note 11S and a bunch of phones from Realme and Samsung, the Moto G62 5G will pamper with its sorted out software experience and reliably strong raw performance.

The Moto G62 is a quietly solid, relatively well-equipped cheap 5G phone. The combination of a 120Hz display, 5G connectivity, and a relatively up-to-date Snapdragon processor for under £200 is surprisingly difficult to come by in mid–2022, though you can still get a better all-round phone if you consider the 4G alternatives.

The Motorola Moto G62 aims to be the 5G smartphone of choice under ₹20,000, but its misgivings in the camera and display segment maim the phone’s chance to be the obvious choice. While the Moto G62’s performance in day-to-day usage and gaming is reliable and the near Stock Android experience with minimal bloatware is enjoyable, it isn’t enough to compensate for its lacklustre camera performance. Additionally, the lack of an AMOLED display when 5G competitors offer the same is disappointing.

The Moto G62 starts at Rs 16,999 in India which seems reasonable given the specs on hand. I would’ve liked to see an OLED panel as well as faster-charging speeds with the phone. More importantly, the handset’s lowlight photography chops are in dire need of some tweaks and photography enthusiasts will be better off with the Redmi Note 11 Pro or the POCO X4 Pro (review). However, the Moto G62’s excellent software along with a decent battery backup and performance metrics make it a worthwhile choice in the affordable segment as well.

With the first 5G-enabled budget SoCs now available, Motorola is betting big on very affordable 5G phones for the European and North American markets. The Moto G62 is just another of a series of devices along those same lines and even if it's not the cheapest, it's definitely close. But in these price segments it's inevitably about picking your priorities and making the right compromises. If you don't have 5G connectivity and a pair of very good stereo speakers above charging speed and display quality on your priority list then a lot of similarly-priced alternatives will better accommodate you. Otherwise the Motorola G62 might be just right one for you.

The Motorola Moto G62 smartphone is a proper mid-range 5G phone, which has an immersive screen, faster refresh rate, ample performance, sufficient storage, and long-lasting battery life. Even after this, there are a few things that need to be concerned. The track record of Motorola phone software updates is below average so you might have to wait for a long for future updates. Aside from this, the camera quality is average, and we won’t recommend this phone to selfie lovers. Apart from this, the phone is currently exclusive to the UK not for the global stage. If you don’t live in the United Kingdom, we suggest you look for global variants such as the Motorola G 2022 smartphone.

The Moto G64 5G is a solid budget smartphone offering a good balance of features and performance for the price. It boasts a large, smooth display with a surprising 120Hz refresh rate, a powerful processor for everyday tasks, and a massive battery that will easily last a full day on a single charge. The camera system is decent in good lighting but struggles in low-light conditions. Overall, the Moto G64 5G is a great option for users who prioritise performance, battery life, and a clean software experience at an affordable price point. However, if you're a heavy gamer or a mobile photography enthusiast, you might want to consider other options.

The Moto G64 5G has plenty of competition in its segment. There's the recently launched Realme P1 (Review), which has a more powerful processor but only offers 8GB RAM, no ultra-wide camera, and a smaller 5,000mAh battery. Then you also have the Redmi Note 13, the Vivo T3x, and the Samsung Galaxy A15, which all cost around the same but lack in most areas compared to the Moto G64 5G. The Vivo T3x offers a better processor and a similar sized battery, but once again lacks in other important areas such as cameras and RAM. If you're looking for a good budget phone with great battery life, a good display, and a decent pair of cameras, then the Moto G64 5G is an excellent choice. Albeit you may not get the best gaming performance out of this phone, it'll still play all your favourite games as long as you dial down the graphics. Although Motorola has only given the Moto G64 5G a small spec bump, it's still an easy phone to recommend.

The Moto G64 proves to be a value-for-money smartphone, especially if you’re able to buy the smartphone at Rs 13,999. It can be an ideal option for those who prioritise performance, battery, and a minimal design. The front and rear cameras are decent too. The tall display offers a standard viewing experience, though the presence of an AMOLED or pOLED display would’ve given it an edge. For gamers, the Moto G64 can handle heavy titles, including BGMI and COD, though the Vivo T3x or Realme P1 remain a better choice. If your priorities don’t heavily lean on gaming but rather on overall performance for daily tasks such as browsing and reading, the Moto G64 won’t disappoint.

The Moto G64 is a solid budget smartphone with swift performance, decent camera capabilities, and a clutter-free user interface. With camera performance, the only drag here, the Moto G64 makes a compelling option in the budget segment only if you can live with a sub-par camera system. Otherwise, the smartphone is a better option with something in store for everyone.

If you're looking for a powerful phone with a good price, great battery life, and a decent camera, then the G64 is definitely a good choice. However, if the camera is a top priority for you, and you prefer a phone with a trendy design, then the G64 might not meet your expectations. But other than camera and design, the phone is definitely a reliable daily driver. The Dimensity 7025 processor is fast and can handle multiple tasks smoothly, even some occasional gaming. The 6,000mAh battery with fast charging will last you well over a day, and the 120Hz refresh display is smooth and vibrant and on the top of it the G64 offers the clean Android experience.

The Motorola Moto G64 merely sees some refinements over its predecessor; it’s not a generational upgrade. However, that doesn’t detract from the fact that it is still a solid value-for-money smartphone. The Moto G64 is an ideal phone for camera enthusiasts. The 50 MP OIS-enabled primary camera is one of the best, if not the best, under ₹15,000. Add to that ludicrously long-lasting battery life, and camera lovers have themselves an amazing option to snap photos of their best moments. However, the display needs an upgrade – an IPS LCD display with only 460 nits of tested brightness doesn’t cut it in 2024. Motorola has carved a solid space for itself in India’s cutthroat budget smartphone market by focusing on providing an elevated experience at an inexpensive price. One of the company’s latest entrants in the budget smartphone realm is the Motorola Moto G64 – the successor to the popular Moto G54 (review) from last year.

Priced at Rs 14,999, the Moto G64 5G offers decent overall value, provided you're willing to overlook its display brightness, some bugs in software (which are fixable via an update) and the subpar performance of its camera under low-light conditions. It handles most basic tasks effortlessly and presents itself as a worthwhile smartphone at its price point.

Motorola's G series phones have always been good value for money, and the new Moto G64 5G appears to be doing the same. There's not a lot of new features compared to the Moto G54 5G, but you do get better display protection and a slightly more powerful chipset. The phone starts at Rs. 14,999 for the base variant, which I think is a great deal. Should you purchase this phone? Stay tuned for the full review to find out.
