功能 - 相当稀少

从联想 Smart Paper 微薄的功能上就能看出它不是普通的平板电脑:没有 microSD 读卡器,没有耳机插孔,没有摄像头,没有扬声器,也没有定位系统。

4 GB 内存和 64 GB eMMC 闪存,对于 400 美元的价格来说,它的内存不算最大。不过,你几乎无法在平板电脑黑白且反应缓慢的电子墨水显示屏上加载任何图像和视频,所以你可能并不需要太多的存储空间。

它的 USB-C 端口可用于为平板电脑充电,以及与电脑之间的数据传输。您还可以使用联想的 Companion 应用程序进行无线传输。

软件 - 基于Android 11

联想安装的操作系统基于Android 11 AOSP,即Android 的开源部分。其表面保持了简洁,与屏幕的有限功能相一致。

Android 虽然不能正式安装应用程序,但你仍然可以通过 apk 文件进行安装,不过我们在测试中遇到了一些启动困难。这意味着你可以安装自己喜欢的电子书商店应用--但这款平板电脑只预装了 ebooks.com,而且只有下载英文书籍的选项。

此外,联想还在平板电脑上预装了日历、计算器、笔记应用程序和电子邮件应用程序。Paper Smart 还可以显示原生 Epub 格式的电子书,当然也可以显示 txt 和 pdf 文件。

你不能指望在任何时候看到全新版本的Android ,但根据联想的说法,这款平板电脑从发布之日起(2023 年中期)至少两年内都会收到安全补丁更新。

通信和全球导航卫星系统 - WiFi 5,接收良好

联想的智能纸采用了最快的 WiFi 5 标准。不过,MLAN 模块并不能真正利用这一高速标准的优势--其传输速率仅为 211 - 286 MBit/s,大大低于我们的预期。

在实际使用中,即使你离路由器很近,网站加载也需要相当长的时间。图片的加载时间更长。在距离路由器 10 米、中间有 3 面墙的情况下,您只能接收到 3/4 的信号--网站在平板电脑屏幕上显示几乎不需要任何时间。

输入设备和操作 - 精确的输入笔

触摸屏大部分时间都能准确识别我们的输入,但反应稍有延迟,原因是显示屏帧率较低,与 LED 或 OLED 屏幕相比,图像生成速度较慢。平板电脑有限的性能也是一个问题--网站加载缓慢偶尔会导致搜索栏的输入延迟,或者因为无法处理输入而吞没字母。

另一方面,在使用无源手写笔时,这款平板电脑无疑会大放异彩。它无需通过蓝牙连接,有 4,096 级压力,重量只有 15 克。虽然在绘图或书写时会有极小的延迟,但可以忽略不计。联想称延迟时间为 25 毫秒。在联想的智能纸(Smart Paper)上,它的众多压力级别无法使用得那么精细,但效果仍然不错。

平板电脑的哑光和略微粗糙的表面几乎与纸张无异,在上面书写非常舒适。

在安全性方面,这款平板电脑没有指纹传感器或面部扫描仪:只能通过设置 PIN 码来保护平板电脑,防止未经授权的访问。

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

In comparison: 53 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 8705 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 343500) Hz was measured.

Display response times show how fast the screen is able to change from one color to the next. Slow response times can lead to afterimages and can cause moving objects to appear blurry (ghosting). Gamers of fast-paced 3D titles should pay special attention to fast response times.

耗电量

在我们的能耗测试中,联想智能纸虽然性能不高,但对部分部件的要求很高,能耗相当大。在满载情况下,耗电量高达 7.1 瓦。

显示屏背光显然是最大的耗电设备之一。不过,如果将其关闭,显示屏不更新,就不会消耗能量,因为屏幕中的白色和黑色墨水颗粒可以在没有电源的情况下保持状态。

平板电脑的充电功率可达 10 瓦。当电池完全耗尽时,您最多需要等待 3 个小时,充电指示灯才会再次显示 100% 电量。

运行时间
