Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

TravelMate P658-G2-MG是P658系列的第二代机型,相比第一代设备它只得到了内部组件的改进。因此,这款第二代设备搭配了同样的高品质坚固机身和不错的背光键盘。在接口配备方面它也延续了同样的设计。

第二代TravelMate P658继承了前代机型的优势,仍然是一款品质优秀的商务笔记本电脑。

这台笔记本电脑搭配最新Kaby Lake架构酷睿i7处理器,可以轻松满足大部分用户的需要。对于一般办公和上网需要更是绰绰有余。GeForce独立显卡可以为需要较高显卡性能的应用程序带来不少帮助。

这台设备在待机时非常安静,运行中也不会变得太热。遗憾的是,在一些情况下(比如传输大量数据时)会发出一些电流声。一块固态硬盘带来了迅捷的系统响应,而另一块2.5寸1TB机械硬盘则带来了充足的存储空间。这两块硬盘用户都可以自行维护升级:尽管机械硬盘位于一个独立的维护底盖下,但更换固态硬盘则需要打开整个机身底盖。
