Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

微星的WT72-6QME工作站是对优秀前代机型的一次成功更新。尽管Xeon E3-1505M处理器的性能不算出彩,但提供了对ECC内存的支持,这提高了可靠性。说到可靠性,尽管它的RAID 0硬盘阵列对于游戏本来说无可置疑,但对于稳定性和可靠性更为关键的情况是否适合就值得质疑了。原本为游戏设计,它的机身提供了出色的散热系统,长时间的持续负载也不会对它造成任何影响。在打开“Cooler Boost”功能后,较大的噪音可能会吵到邻座的同事。它的屏幕——与大多数17寸游戏设备相似——也十分优秀,尽管我们希望它能够对专业色域能够提供更好的覆盖。

微星对WT72工作站的更新继续着他们在这个领域的成功——不过顶级配置对于游戏本改造机型来说仍然显得有些过高。
