To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

总体而言，新的XPS 13 9300在我们的评测中给人留下了很好的印象。机身精巧，结构紧凑，坚固耐用。雾面的16:10显示屏可以说服我们，除了响应速度很慢，我们建议对其进行校准。两个扬声器也完全足够。

性能上来说，是一把双刃剑，因为与之前的产品相比，CPU性能要低。这当然不是理想的升级，但公平地说，Core i5的性能对于许多用户而言仍将是绰绰有余的，尤其是与快速SSD结合使用时。 iGPU的性能也有所提高，因此您可以玩一些游戏。还有更快的i7上的iGPU到可选。就单单CPU性能而言，应该没有优势，但显卡是一项重大升级，值得一看。

戴尔的新XPS 13 9300是受欢迎的超极本中很好的继承者。我们没有在评测中发现任何严重的弊端，但新款1500欧元（约合11000元）的入门价格并不便宜。
