Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

我们之前测试的这台ZenBook的Skylake机型受到了较差的屏幕转轴的影响。它们无法帮助打开或合上的屏幕保持稳定。我们很难说它是个个体缺陷还是普遍的问题。不过,这次我们测试的各个机型的屏幕转轴都十分稳定,可以适合各个用途的需要。

再次成功:华硕的ZenBook UX360UAK是一台十分不错的变形本。不过这台设备的风扇噪音有些过大。

它搭配的Kaby Lake架构酷睿i5处理器提供了足以满足日常使用需要的运算性能。它也不会在使用中变得过热,在待机时可以保持安静。不过这台ZenBook的散热风扇在测试中成为了它最大的弱点。在风扇速度提高之后,它会发出不太正常的呜呜声。一块高速固态硬盘保证了系统的流畅迅速。需要更换更大容量固态硬盘的用户需要打开它的机身底盖,这个机型没有提供维护底盖设计。

它的电池续航时间十分出色。这台ZenBook在这个方面超过了前代Skylake机型机型的表现。它的键盘也十分优秀。IPS技术屏幕面板带来了高亮度,高对比度,稳定的可视角度范围,也具有不错的色彩还原能力。我们这台测试机搭配了防反光屏幕保护膜,这帮助纯镜面屏幕减少了一些反射。我们很奇怪为什么华硕没有对此进行宣传。
